The service is quick, it’s like a fast food place but with healthier options. I usually get the steamed vegetables with white sauce and white rice and a MAC roll. I am gluten free as well as vegan, and had no problem eating here. My family enjoyed their food as well.“

“I love this place. The jerk chicken and the stew fish are insanely good. The Mac n cheese is to die for. You absolutely cannot pass on the collards or the rice with gravy. And dessert is a must. I’ve tried a few places that just didn’t hit the mark—but AL SHAM in Chalfont is a straight 10/10!! They serve real Arabic bread (pita)—not tortillas disguised as pita like you find at other places—and their homemade Lebanese toum (garlic aioli) is the real deal. “Was it worth walking all of Kensington to reach here at Circles and Squares? Hell yea. Would do it again...maybe. ONE of the best pizzas Ive ever had. The east coast does it the best honestly. We talked to the owner and was the dopest dude. It is a city of brotherly love. The crisp was perfect and the cheese was flawless. Cant say anything negative about it. He even brought us out some wings which were fuego. You have to come here. Dont walk through Kensington though.“

“My family and I ate at this amazing restaurant! We happened to be in the area and stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant. We were greeted nicely, the service was good and the food was delicious! We even met Richard who took the time to graciously explain the history and origin of the restaurant/ menu. The atmosphere was inviting and rich with culture. I would totally recommend Samarkand! If you are ready for a new and unique dinning experience this is the place for you!“

“Uptown vibes vegan pizza was good,
The crust was square deep dish chicago style, very good sauce. tons of cheese didn’t really taste the kale nevertheless, spot on! little on the expensive side.
Thai cauliflower wings , perfectly done, tender on the inside crispy tempura batter on the outside very good sauce
Spicy crab fries need work no crab flavor, kale was there but lacking flavor, plenty of cheese on fries, cheese was cold and the fries were little bit dry and cold.
The Fries are overpriced, thicker cut fries would be better.
The blueberry lemonade and a cucumber, mint lemonade a perfect combo with the pizza
This is a very nice place for takeout. The decor is right on with the whole mission. I read a chapter of the book while I was there Muhammad is inspiring.
I think it’s admirable the way they give back to the community. Hope that they will get some sit down seating in the future currently it has barstool and counter seating, would love to see some outdoor seating. Overall a nice experience, reason for four star atmosphere was a little bit loud hard to talk to my friend.
And as far as the food goes a little bit pricey overall, that’s just a personal opinion if it works for them that’s all that matters definitely will be back.“

“The food was absolutely AMAZING! We ordered a poke bowl, chicken nachos, burgers, kids’ burgers, and fries — and everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. You can really tell they care about the quality of their food.
The only downside was the service. When I asked for hot water, it was served to me in a PLASTIC cup, which was surprising and honestly a bit disappointing. Otherwise, great food and overall a place worth visiting if the service improves a bit!“
