“So I thought I was walking into Sweet Green as it was next door and wasn’t paying attention. I ordered a hot honey chicken bowl my go to. Turns out Dig Inn had their own version. Until she made it I was thinking to myself that isn’t what I ordered to figure out I was in the wrong place.
Instead of being mad at myself I decided to try it and I was pleasantly surprised and was not disappointed that I made the wrong turn!
Chef Twee(I think that’s her name) is awesome and I will definitely come back!

“Ripplewood Whiskey REALLY impressed me. The food is not only creative and unique - it’s insanely delicious. I ordered their take on fish & chips: sesame-crusted cod with a miso caramel glaze, paired with garlic creamed kale (I never realized kale could taste this good) and purple sweet potatoes. It’s the kind of dish where everything just makes sense together and I legitimately can't stop thinking about it.

I especially enjoy the belt-thick Biangbiang noodles, handcrafted daily by skilled chefs and served with a hearty, savory meat sauce that highlights their al dente texture. The hot sour soup they offer, brewed with a delicate balance of vinegar and white pepper, is regarded as the best in town, offering a tangy complement to the other dishes. Although the restaurant has been modestly remodeled, with simple decor and practical furnishings, it maintains high standards of cleanliness and warm hospitality, creating a welcoming dining atmosphere.”

It's really noisy and space is tight, and every once in a while I meet someone new for an interesting conversation. And it's just fine with everyone if I roll up with my New Yorker magazine for a quick bite on the way home!”

“Villa Artigiano Ristorante exceeded expectations in every meaningful way. From the moment we were seated, the service set the tone—efficient without feeling rushed, attentive without hovering, and genuinely warm throughout the evening.

We began with the arancini: crisp, golden Italian rice balls, expertly fried and generously filled with tender veal and molten mozzarella. They arrived hot, well-seasoned, and immediately signaled that the kitchen takes tradition seriously.
For entrées, my wife chose the lobster ravioli, bathed in a silky brandy tomato cream sauce that balanced richness with restraint. The pasta was delicate, the lobster flavorful, and the sauce indulgent without overpowering the dish. I opted for the tagliatelle alla Bolognese—wide ribbons of pasta coated in a deeply satisfying, house-made meat sauce that tasted slow-cooked and authentic, the kind of dish that reminds you why classics endure.

Dessert was a shared tiramisu, light yet decadent, with layers that struck just the right harmony of coffee, cream, and cocoa. It paired perfectly with her freshly brewed coffee and my double shot of espresso, which was bold, smooth, and a fitting finale to the meal.

From start to finish, Villa Artigiano delivered an exceptional dining experience rooted in quality, care, and classic Italian execution. Highly recommended for anyone seeking thoughtfully prepared food and gracious service”

“My daughter said that she was looking to have sushi for lunch today, so we decided to give Herosame in Ardmore a try. Wow, this is one of the best sushi meals we've had in the Philly area and definitely on the Main Line. I called in our takeout order and the server who took our order was very friendly and polite as was the server who brought us our order while we waited in the vestibule. We ordered the Lunch Shrimp Teriyaki Bento Box and the Lunch Triple Roll Combo. Wow! I thought they had accidentally give us another person's order as the bags were quite heavy. Both lunch specials could easily be split over two meals or at least a meal and a leftovers snack. The Lunch Shrimp Teriyaki Bento Box included a small house salad, a pint of Miso Soup, 2 Shumai, a California Roll, 6 large Teriyaki Shrimp and a pint of steamed white rice. The salad was a crisp and refreshing spring mix with thinly shredded carrots and a halved grape tomato with a delicious dressing. The Miso soup was very rich and tasty. The Shumai were delicious with a nice crisp exterior, but soft, tender and enjoyable meat inside. The California Roll was huge and stuffed with super fresh crab stick and vegetables topped off with tobiko. The Teriyaki Shrimp were just a hair overcooked, but still delicious. The Three Roll Lunch Combo featured a choice of three rolls from a list of twenty different rolls so my daughter picked the Shrimp Avocado Roll, Tempura Roll and Philly Roll. All three rolls, just like my Bento Box's California Roll were huge with the Shrimp Tempura Rolls being gigantic. One piece of the tempura roll was at least twice the size of other sushi rolls I've had. Each roll was stuffed with the traditional meats and veggie fillings. Everything was so fresh and delicious! Herosame will definitely be on our family's list for future Japanese lunches and dinners!”

“My daughter and I used to eat at Maman. My daughter is 8. However, Maman drove us out of their restaurant with low quality service and a harassment in us being there for just one hour during our meal. Then we found Nudy's cafe. What's different.... food is better, service is better, cost is lower, and overall atmosphere is way better. Each one of the waiters and waitresses can only be described as outstanding. Nobody pushed us to leave after finishing our meal. My wife has a medical obligation and this is a welcoming place for me and my little girl to hang out while we wait for that to be over. Maman would have threatened us to leave with their Supreme leader ideology. Nudy's makes us feel at home. So if you want higher priced lower quality food with poor service, go to maman. If you want, quality service, polite and outstanding employees, top notch food, and a relaxed environment....go to Nudy's.”

The variety and the selection combined with a true Tired Hands x Ardmore Brewing Company Atmosphere make Abc cafe a worth-wile weekly visit.
The only drawback is the promotions for local and weekly events. More promotion and paid content is needed to give the space the new traction and people it deserves!

Let’s start with my favorite: the albóndigas. 🥹 Those meatballs? Out. Of. This. World. Juicy, flavorful, y con ese toque casero que solo una cocina venezolana puede lograr. I would fly across states just for those.

Right now they’re collaborating with Manatawny in Ardmore and the drinks? Una delicia. The perfect pair for those rich, bold flavors… de verdad, Venezuelan food and cocktails never tasted so good.

But the real secret sauce is the team:
Levi y María run things with so much passion, it shows in every plate. And Dani is the kindest, sweetest server—she makes every visit feel like you’re part of the Autana family.

“We called the night before and made reservations for our party of 6 for lunch at 1:30 PM on Saturday (today). We arrived early and we’re seated immediately. Food was delicious and service was friendly and courteous. We had a mix of starters (beef jap chae, Korean fried chicken, Dakgangjeong & chili calamari), entrees (bulgogi, 2 Dolsot Bibimbop & ramen), table bbq (Joo Mul Luk Marinated ribeye & Samgyupsal Thinly sliced pork belly), and drinks. Entrees and table bbq comes with white rice, ban Chan, and veggies. We ate everything and we’re satisfied with happy bellies. The restaurant is quaint, nice atmosphere, and clean. Metered parking is available in front of restaurant. We recommend trying this place, and will be back again.”

“I never leave reviews, but I had to this time!! I wasn’t having the best day today, and I have really been wanting to try the new holiday drinks, so I figured I would treat myself. As I arrived to the Starbucks, my mood further plummeted as I saw the line out the door, but wanting to make the best of it, I made myself to the back of the line. The baristas were steadily making progress, the line was not moving too slowly, and this was steadily improving my mood. The cashier, named Terry, was doing a pretty good job of keeping the line moving at a steady pace. The Lord was smiling down on me today, because my favorite barista, Cass, was making drinks. Not only are her drinks always absolutely delicious - not too bitter not too sweet - but she always makes my drink quickly - which I appreciate - and she is super friendly. Being able to chat quickly with Cass always brightens my day when I go to get a drink, she’s super sweet and always has a funny remark to make about whatever is on my mind that day. Today, I am particularly grateful to Cass, because I was really down in the dumps, and though it was a short conversation, her positive energy really helped me and improved my mood. Thank you to Cass for always being so kind and great at her job!! The drinks got me in the door, but Cass’ wonderful attitude keeps me coming back.”
