“Was in Philly for the weekend looking for the best cheesesteak while we were there. The hotel recommended Oh Brother. It was good with very good service. Large portions and very tasty. Wish we had time to try well known Pat's but it was not recommended by the hotel or Lyft driver. Maybe next time.“

“I am not from town. I was staying about a mile away. Google showed good reviews for this location. They almost lost my service because they didn't open on time. I decided to wait and give them time to open. It was worth the wait. I ordered a Big Cheesesteak and a Lil Special Italian. Both of them were huge, packed with tons of meat, and delicious. I will say the Special Italian was by far one of the best if not the best hoagie I've had.“

“Roast Pork Sandwiches are unrivaled in the city!!!! Absolutely Delicious!!! BUT you better know what you want when you get to the service counter, because they have ZERO patience if you don't know the Business, AND if you don't understand The South Philly kitsch of Impatience and colloquial disdain for their customers, unless they know you personally.“

“Tiny “Hometown“ type bar. Everyone was very friendly. We had a cheesesteak, which was very good, and got to put pins in the map to show how far we traveled. Drinks were generous and atmosphere was very fun. We were there on a night when they were playing bingo. It was free and a very fun addition to the night. Only complaint is the smoking. I’m sure this is some kind of last resort for smokers, and they probably love it, but I could do without going back to my hotel smelling like a dirty ashtray after having a drink and a sandwich.Parking: Parking lot is tiny and only accommodates a few cars. street parking is hard to find. This place is at the intersection of a few streets, but there is one of the roads that has free parking across the busy intersection.“

“Been in Havertown for 9 months and never knew about this place! Prices are excellent. Huge menu!! They have a large variety of snacks and beer. Downside is they don't sell many energy drinks but have some unique sodas. They also have a place to sit inside. A deli wrap here is $6 compared to other places in town which are $10-12. I'll be a regular here.“

“If you want a cheesesteak in Conshohocken, this is the place to go. My wife and I ordered cheesesteaks to go and they were absolutely INCREDIBLE. The level of customization is unparalleled. The amount of meat was gratifying. The bread was very fresh. I HIGHLY recommend coming here if you want high quality cheesesteaks. And if you have any doubts, read their story in the "about us" section of their website. Cannot recommend this place enough.“

“Delicious! Only had their cheesesteak here, which was very unique. Their non-seeded hoagie roll was also fresh and tasty. The cherry pepper mayo used may get a little overwhelming as there's a lot going into this steak. I ordered online on a late Monday afternoon and took about 10 minutes for two to be made. Will gladly come back.Parking: Street parking on both sides. 2 and 3 hour paid parking available depending on time. Free after posted times.“

“I’ve been coming here for years as a student at temple university! It’s one of the places that I enjoy going too and always rave about. The pizza never disappoints, and the slices are good for what you pay! Never disappointed. I usually get a plain, margarita, or a buffalo chicken. Today I got a buffalo chicken with my friend and we both enjoyed it!“

“I'm from Maryland and have no local spots that can make a good cheesesteak. I can get lucky with a decent one from Pizza Bolis but it's never consistent. My first trip to Philly and Leo's did not disappoint. I got mushrooms peppers tomatoes and American cheese because that's standard ( usually swap the cheese). It was the best cheesesteak or sandwich type of meal I've ever had. Fresh ingredients, the meat was cooked and seasoned so well. I will be making a trip at least once a year for one of these.“

“So I recently discovered this place looking for lunch for work. The first time I ordered from here I got a cheesesteak, cheese waffle fries and a slice of bbq pizza. Now, the fries were good, they give a great portion for a small. The cheesesteak would’ve been great also but someone was a little heavy handed with the salt shaker and they kind of blew the taste for me. Don’t get me wrong, it was good but the overpowering of the salt kind of ruined it but i still ate it. Last is the slice of pizza. That was delicious, i just wish they would keep it in a bit longer so the crust can get a little crispier. It was the first thing i ate and had to peel the crust off to eat with every bite i took. Overall, it's a cool laid back place. I would still recommend it to those who are looking for a pizza place downtown. They also have some desserts in the fridge that look absolutely appetizing. Oh, the macadamia nut cookies are out of this worlddddd!“

This establishment prides itself on offering a diverse menu that caters to all tastes, including classic cheesesteaks, tender chicken cutlets, and even vegetarian options like the portobello cheesesteak. The sides, particularly the waffle fries, are a crowd favorite, perfectly complementing the main dishes. “There was a group of 7 women and we had just left the Katt Williams Comedy Show heading back to Maryland, so most of us wanted just a little something to hold us over and since it was late night. So my Cuz saw pizzeria in the name and said let's stop there. The rest is 'Delicious History' thank you Lil' Trent and the 2 other gentleman that were cooking. The group ordered pizza, fries, steak subs, and chicken subs, but they also had a salmon sub. I will be scheduling a drive up to Philly soon just to try that salmon sub; which will be a difficult choice considering my chicken cheese sub was the best I've ever had in my 57 yrs. We all was very very pleased with everything we ordered. There was a wait even that late at night, but a well worth it wait. We actually was 1 of 3 of the last customers that were there waiting and we closed the restaurant down with a personal shot out to Lil' Trent as he locked up. Huge Kudos to the 3 man staff that was holding it down and representing on Sunday night-4/7/24.?????? ???????Parking: We were lucky to park almost right in front, but large group, so some stayed in van.“

“First time here since the business name changed. Sandwiches are an excellent value and quality continues to be superb. I love the new sesame seed roll option. We will keep returning to satisfy all our cheesesteak and cutlet sandwich cravings.“

“Old school! In from NYC on biz…had looked this place up. So much better than most of the Philly center tourist traps. The large cheesesteak was enough for 3 meals, and the meat was so good and cooked perfectly. The meatball sub was damn good too! Dreaming about that cheesesteak! Nice staff too!“

“This was the highest rated cheesesteak joint near my hotel and I can't say that I was disappointed! The shop is a hole in the wall and it might not look like the best place for cheesesteaks since they've got pizzas by the slice waiting at the counter. After my first bite, I was impressed! The steak was juicy, the "cheese whiz" (melted nacho cheese) gave the sandwich a touch more moisture, and the bun was fresh, soft and chewy. The fries were a good addition that made it a huge and filling meal!“

“We went here for a quick bite and weren't disappointed. We had a chicken and a beef Philly. Both of those were huge sandwiches for the money! The beef one was chipotle and it was quite delicious but very spicy. So if you a looking for a little kick I would highly recommmend it. We also had old bay fries which had the potential to be good but they were so dang salty. They come with cheese whiz, but it doesn't help how salty they are. Lastly we got a cheese pizza. That was mid at best. Almost no cheese on it and a mediocre sauce. The place does have seating in the back despite how it looks, it just ordering was slightly confusing because they had a sign over a tablet that said order here but you really should order at the countertop because the tablet doesn't have all the options of things you could order like drinks or slices. Overall though a really good place to grab a bite, excellent staff and good food!“

“*Tourists* hometowner's like myself know "Pat's" and "Geno's* cheese steaks are TRASH!!!!!!! GOOEY LOOIES has the best Cheeese Steaks in Philly, hands down!!!!! The meat is high quality, juciey, real steak that's flavorful and packed on those soft and resh steak rolls....and plenty of American cheese is melted into it....GOOEY LOOIES is just like the name says: GOOEY! And that's a good thing. I didn't even have Mayo on mine because with the steak juice and the ketch up it was perfectly GOOEY. I will never buy a cheese steak or Italian hoagie from anywhere else because of how deliciously tasty theirs is!!!!! I didn't even have to request "PEPPERED HAM" for my Italian Hoagie which if not offered on it is a hanious mistake and says something about the establishment that you are visiting. The corner store hommieness was so appropriated ill be back often I predict. Got my mom a seafood salad hoagie, she loved it....my dad, I brought him a corned beef one and he's jumping for joy!“

I always recommend ppl to go here and bring my folks from out of town. My only complaints are the hours aren't consistent sometimes and some stuff sells out quickly, but you can never go wrong with a cheesesteak or those seafood egg rolls. “This place was packed when we went on a Saturday night. We were told it would be a 90 minute wait so we went to misconduct bar which was basically next door. Luckily we didn't have to wait 90 mins and it was only like a 30 minute wait we had. This place is black owned and is known for their interesting cheesesteaks. They have an oxtail and jerk chicken on the menu. The bathroom had an interesting vibe. There was a sign that said "taste me" but was surrounded by a fake plant wall. The bathroom definately felt like a new age interior decorator decked it out. I ended up getting a jerk chicken with mushrooms. I really loved the cheesesteak. They had cooper sharp cheese which was really good. They cooked the meat, peppers, and onions perfectly. The meat was marinated perfectly as well. The fries that my friends and I split were pretty tasty as well. I don't really like fries but these were amazing. They had cheese on them that just melted in your mouth. The drinks at this place were pretty strong as well. It was interesting that they put a cute light in it. The only thing I didn't like about this place was how loud the music was. It was a couple decibels louder than I would have liked it. Regardless this place had amazing cheesesteaks and that's all that matters!“

“I have been eating Hykel's hoagies for over 60 years and like to consider myself somewhat of an authority on the subject- I just had one today while watching the Eagles game. Pretty incredible to hold it together for that long! Order an American Hoagie- trust me on this - the perfect blend of meats and cheese, lettuce tomatoes and chopped onions, on a Conshy bakery roll. Still the one I compare to when testing any other hoagie . Regarding the score- I go to Hykels for a hoagie, I don't care about the atmosphere or service, not that it's bad, it's just not why someone would go to Hykel's Bar.“
