“Ripplewood Whiskey REALLY impressed me. The food is not only creative and unique - it’s insanely delicious. I ordered their take on fish & chips: sesame-crusted cod with a miso caramel glaze, paired with garlic creamed kale (I never realized kale could taste this good) and purple sweet potatoes. It’s the kind of dish where everything just makes sense together and I legitimately can't stop thinking about it.

You don’t come across this food every day. I’m already looking forward to coming back to try more..and more...and more...(don't tell my wallet)“

Typically I've gone later in the evening and on slower weeknights so I cannot say exactly what the crowd, service, or food would be like on a busy Friday or Saturday evening in primetime. But the management and staff have always been friendly, the food, particularly anything that comes on a roll, is good, and the prices are great, especially considering you're a few minutes away from Chestnut Hill, the ritziest neighborhood in Philadelphia, as well as the start of some fancy-schmancy burbs. If you like hole-in-the wall no b.s. bars with decent food and fair prices that attracts local - check this place out.“

Eric and Vinny are two of my favorite bar tenders. They make even the slowest nights the most fun. I normally come during the week, as opposed to the weekends, and I never regret it.“

“Came here on on a Thursday and my day was going horrible until I had dinner here. The food was okay the wings were good but the chicken in the salad was questionable. The highlight of my dinner was my server Tyanna and the manager my server was full of smiles and had the best attitude I’ve seen at a restaurant so far and the manager was nice enough to accommodate my meal because of my salad.
