“This Chinese food was bomb! The sauce on my chicken and broccoli with garlic sauce was amazing. I had the perfect amount of spice to give it the little kick without being overly spicy. The shrimp fried rice was very small, but very good. I had a decent amount of shrimp in it and had very good flavor. The rice was not greasy. I took off a star because I got the combination platter and it was supposed to come with an eggroll, but it was not in the bag. Even though the worker behind the counter told me he put duck sauce in the bag for it.
But overall, it was delicious!“

“I came to Metro Diner this morning off the humbug. I was starving & was craving some chicken & waffles from somewhere close in the area. Surprisingly the chicken was very seasoned and crispy. The waffles were also very tasty and soft. The strawberry butter mixed with their signature hot sauce was also pretty good. Alicia was my server. She was such a doll :) Her knowledge of the menu is impeccable and she took very good care of me. “A wonderful place with a healthy variety of food so there's something for everyone. They're very accommodating with the options— not everything is vegan, but it feels like at least half of the menu is, and if it isn't then it can be made vegan. Menu items are conveniently and clearly labeled so you know what is vegan, gluten-free, or has nuts, among other things, and I can't stress enough how much I really wish every place did this. The seitan wings and loaded totchos are some of my favorites on the appetizer end- the "wings" in particular feel nice and juicy and have a great texture that I've been trying and failing to replicate at home. They have a really killer plant burger too known as the California Gardenator, which for me is always a big +10 points especially seeing how many places' "plant options" will just be an Impossible Patty; they also have delicious and flavorful tacos made with soy curls. The location unfortunately has the same "issue" as the other Main Street locations in Newark, which is that's there not a great way to quickly park and go even if you just want to pick something up (and all the parking spots on Main Street are metered because of course they need to capitalize off of the UD kids) but the actual building is a gorgeous establishment with great indoor/outdoor seating and friendly staff. Some may disagere but I found the prices pretty reasonable for the quality and it feels like the portions are plentiful— I've underestimated how much food they give you a few times.“

“Always great food at two stones. This is our local location, but we've been to three other locations. Great value for great food. One thing I would suggest is, get rid of those long rectangular plates. Nothing stays on them correctly. That's all.“

“It was nice to have dinner inside a restaurant. You could see the care of clean up, the guests were spaced nicely. Our meals were fresh, full of flavor, and enough for a lunch the following day. Our server Pat was her ever charming self and mixes a great basil lemon cocktail.“

“We only get a chance to come here on the weekends there is normally a wait but it's never more than 20 min. The staff is always super friendly and nice, and very knowledgeable about the menu. It is a VAST menu so it might take a while to decide what you want but we have tried a bunch of things and nothing has been short of wonderful. Price is on par for what you get rolls are a good size at an average price with quality ingredients. Highly recommend the soup dumplings! We always try to get something new but keep getting those dumplings!

Parking: It's near the food court in the mall so parking can be challenging but it is free

Kid-friendliness: We have taken out 2 year old every time we have been here we just get her a side of rice and some popcorn chicken, staff is very accommodating to kids and they have kids cup and high chairs

Wheelchair accessibility: 1st floor location and is technically on the outside of the mall so easy access from the street“

Portion sizes were generous and our server was personable. We brought our own wine (BYOB) and were pleasantly surprised by the fact that there wasn't a corkage fee. Would have been nice to not have a "technology fee" added to our check for using a credit card. In this day and age, not many folks are carrying cash in the amount of our check (over $200.00). “We either eat in or get take out about every other week. Their rolls are excellent, my favorite are the Dragon Roll and Eel Cucumber. My fiance loves their Sushi and Sashimi dinners. Decent prices, great service. They stayed open for takeout throughout the Covid period. This is a local favorite. They have another location called GuGu Asian table just outside of town. I haven't been there but my brother says I is just as good. Recommend you purchase a take home bottle of their salad dressing. Best I've ever tasted.“
