“My daughter and I have been going to Native for dinner several years now. Always surprised and enjoy the newly created dishes. We had the Salmon Ravioli last night. Excellent. Waiting for the Mushroom and Goat cheese ravioli to come back on the menu. Compliments to the chef and his whole staff.“

“Cora's food is amazing! I travel over an hour to get her Prime Rib! I travel and haven't found one better than hers! in the Northeast!! If I can give 10 stars I would!!! I am gluten free (Celiac) and never had a reaction from the Prime Rib and veggies. My husband has tried many dishes on their Sunday specials and never disappointed! Servers personable and very efficient when super busy Wonderful little hidden gem in Hawley!!!“

“The Blue Fox Motel is a gem! It is fun, relaxing, and clean. We booked almost the whole motel for a wedding weekend and it couldn’t have been better. The staff is kind and generous. I am a business owner and I would LOVE to have staff like the management and crew of The Blue Fox. Everyone went out of their way to make our weekend a success. The location is stunning, the decor is relaxing and fun, and the restaurant was great. Love the people, love the place, love the area.“
“My husband & I organized a little 3 nite get-away to Woodloch Resort (Pines area) for ourselves, 3 other couples & one single friend. We are all in our 60s so everyone has had years to solidly determine they like their creature comforts. We are a pretty well-traveled group so some not easily impressed. Hubby, myself & our single friend have all been to Woodloch a few times & love it! We have never visited in November & hoped there would be enough for us to do. Planning to please 6 other adults left us with fingers-crossed, as inevitably there is always someone who feels a restaurant, hotel, etc. didn't quite meet their expectations. However for this trip, every person LOVED it!! The check-in is not until 5:00 pm but we were allowed to get our wristbands & enjoy the amenities of the resort while we waited for a text that our room was ready. The 3 couples each had Deluxe Lakeview accommodations in the Greenbriar bldg., attached to main building. They were thrilled with the beautiful view each morning from their room or while on their private balcony/patio. They were able to walk to the dining room, night club/show area, sports bar, or lobby which was our usual meeting point, all without going outside. They were right there for mini-golf, bocci, etc. For those traveling with kids it is close to the big playground, water slide in summer or snowtubing in winter, pedal boats or rowboats. My husband, friend & I shared an Edgewater Suite which had a full kitchen, a large bedroom with 2 queen beds, living room with pull out sleeper couch which my friend said was comfortable (but that's based on someone who regularly falls asleep lying on her couch - LOL) & a washer & dryer. Very spacious. It was a little bit of a walk to the main bldg which was no issue for hubs & me but my friend has walking issues. No problem there - there were 3 shuttles that ran right up until midnight. Never a long wait & at times we called the front desk if we knew she just missed it & another shuttle was immediately dispatched. When she asked an employee for a safe way to walk down to the pontoon boat ride as to not go down a somewhat steep walkway they offered to call for a golf cart ride & were right there with it. The one word to describe every employee would be "Accommodating!" Now, of course, food is also important. We had a meal plan that included breakfast & dinner. Both meals each day were plentiful, very good, good variety (breakfast standard crowd-pleasers of eggs any style, home fries, bacon/sausage/turkey bacon, & their homemade bread & morning cake (amazing crumb cake one day, an apple crumb another, etc.), or egg white frittata for those seeking a healthier alternative, just to name a few. Dinner always had homemade soup, family style serving of salad & veggie plus 4 entree choices that included an option for non-meat eaters. Of course, those delicious homemade breads were right there for the taking. Even when stuffed you must try their made-on-premises creamy ice cream. So delicious! The wait staff was attentive & pleasant. Jorge was our waiter for the first couple of days & just the nicest guy always greeting us even when not assigned to our table. Although lunch was not in our plan there was a Deli at the Inn at Woodloch that we visited each day. Homemade soup was great & a large choice of made to order sandwiches The sandwich price was generally a reasonable $10 & for the amt on that sandwich & given the fact Boars Head cold cuts are used I felt that was more than fair. Those with a family could always buy cold cuts & fresh Italian bread from another deli/store by the gas station within the resort premises & make their own. Each room has a fridge. There were plenty of activities: Name that Tune, Minute to Win it, bocci, mini-golf, pedal boats still operating in this cool weather, Go-Carts, & these senior citizens even went into child mode & did the bumper cars! We tried archery which Kayne was manning. He showed the “

“The food here is very hit or miss, though the servers are very attentive and the atmosphere is pleasant, looking out the windows at the golf course. The chicken in the chicken salad was overcooked/hard/dry, and there was not allot of it, on the sandwich which was mostly an overly large croissant. They have good fries, though. My wife liked her asian salad, i agrred that it tasted good, but not a lot of imagination put into it.
Vegetarian options: Multiple entree salad selections.
Parking: Easy parking.“

“During our stay at the Skytop Lodge we had two breakfasts and two dinners in the Windsor room. One breakfast was on the weekend and was a buffet, one we ordered from the menu. Both were great. The buffet was much above average. We had huevos rancheros, potatoes, sausage, smoked salmon, and fresh fruit. The morning we ordered from the menu we had the caprese omelet and the South porch breakfast. The omelet was a little over cooked, but that’s being picky. The flavors were well balanced. For dinners we had the duck duo, pork prime rib, rack of elk, and short rib pappardelle. Words cannot describe how these meals were prepared, the flavors, fats, acids, and spices were all balanced and the presentations were perfect. For appetizers we had the mussels, bison chorizo crostini, and the crab stuffed mushrooms. Again all of the flavors were outstanding. We had no dishes that we didn’t like.“
“Considering I am the guy doing all of the cooking I can promise you you will have a wonderful experience with some high quality food and good atmosphere vibes“
“I havented visited Wayne on the Hill since it was known as the fireside. Always seemed a bit out of the way for me. But last weekend my friends and I had a few drinks and a nice dinner there. Food was good. But the best part of the dining experience was the bartender and our waiter Jason. It was so refreshing to end up with a server that was personable, knowledgeable, and a wonderful personality. That seems hard to come by lately in this world. Hometown appeal, hometown food with a few surprises, but most important was the atmosphere Jason provided to table. Impeccable service ! Way better than the one woman that always tender bad there. It feels good to be treated like a patron and not annoyance, and that is exactly what Jason did . We will be back.“

“I take pride in Sunday morning rides to diners in the general NY NJ PA area and there are dozens spread throughout the Delaware and Hudson Valleys. But none compare to here. You are always greeted with a smile and you always leave full enough for a nap. If you ever dream of the perfect upstate or north east pa diner, you probably see this one.“

“We are in town for a wedding and chose this place because they make a vegan pizza. It's not an after thought or something to placate the one vegan friend in the group. It's thoughtful and delicious and filling. There's no fake cheese, just all whole ingredients. My nonvegan husband really liked the carrot puree. Definitely will be back when we're in the area.“

“Worth the drive off the beaten path. KCPepper consistently serves up delicious food for us every time we stop in and at a reasonable price. We left SO stuffed last night, I physically couldn’t take the last bite of my Hot Honey Chicken sandwich but I wanted to sooo bad. Fun, casual vibes, we love coming just the two of us but have bought kids and family from out of town as well. Our toddler is dreaming of Summer and the splash pad. 10/10, probably my favorite local restaurant!“

“A true gem in the Poconos. Nothing better than sitting by those glorious falls! The atmosphere here is perfection. The distinction between small and big plates is difficult. Some of our small plates had enough for four people while our big plates only had three items. I wish they offered you a little more for your party size and modified the price accordingly. But the food is wonderful and our server Xavier was excellent. Great spot for a special night!“
“Very rustic! Great staff that were very friendly and helpful! Great little coffee shop with wine and spirits. For the price well worth it.“

“The staff is awesome and the food is amazing. It starts with the warm bread then I highly recommend the French onion soup to start, the creamy garlic salad dressing or just get the Bonny salad and call it a meal! All the dinners are great! So glad we finally got out there, great job to all!“
