From planning the catering menu, to allowing me to come a day early for setup, to being so kind and accommodating day-of, very pleased with the choice to hold this event in the Ruckus Room. Food was delicious, Nevada who bartended for us was great, and the space was big but still cozy and easily able to be elevated with minimal decor. Will definitely think Ruckus for future private events and, in the meantime, for good coffee and cafe vibes!“

“Took my daughter to The Nightmare before Mixtape Tim Burton themed event. The hosts were wonderful!!! Beetlejuice and Lydia absolutely nailed it. “I’m actually mad at myself for discovering this place so late. I have to say this is probably going to become my number one spot to work from. The reasons are pretty clear.
Space is extremely large, and there are multiple types of seating where you can work solo or with a group. There is free Wi-Fi as well as plug points.
The coffee is delicious and they have Vietnamese coffee, which is one of my favourites.
The banh-mi was delicious and although not entirely traditional, it was extremely tasty.

“A very nice little bubble tea shop on Centre Ave. The atmosphere is quite good and the company’s entire branding just has a feel good feel to it. They also have a shop in Ross Park Mall. I tried out their classic brown sugar milk tea as well as a milk chocolate mocha donut.

To be honest, the brown sugar boba was pretty average. There wasn’t anything too special about it. Nice and light drink, not crazy sweet, which was nice. Not much boba in it though. Price was okay. They had a donut and drink combo for a decent price.

The real star of this snack break was the mochi donut. It’s got a very cool, chewy texture to it. The milk chocolate on top really added a lovely sweet touch to it. I would even definitely recommend trying one.

All in all, a cute little boba shop. Decent drinks, but the mochi donuts are what are really unique and tasty.

“I never understood what all the fuss was about re: donuts until I had Just Good Donuts. I didn’t even have em fresh, they were at my sisters house a day old, still the best donuts I ever had“

“This is a lovely little takeout and eatery - and what is not to like for a place named after the wonderful, laughing Australian Bird - The Kookaburra!! I go whenever I am at the National Aviary. A limited but nice menu - the Daily special is usually delicious. Call ahead to see if they are open especially with the COVID -“

“The crepes are buckwheat, which it was not mentioned on the menu. They did ask if we had food allergies, which we do and they were very competent regarding food allergies. We go there around 11 the place was extremely busy after we got our food.

Not my favorite crepe place, would be better to have turkey or chicken crepes. They were soft, i prefer crunchy in a triangle.

There were lots of spider webs around their decorations, ick.

You can really taste the quality of the espresso. They were short staffed (1 employee who was grinding hard!) so I did wait about 25 minutes for two coffees and sandwiches. I didn’t mind that much and it was well worth the wait. Can’t wait to go back!“
