“Visiting family in the area and our first time ordering from Golden Garden. Ordered 4 dinners including beef and broccoli, sesame chicken, lo mein, and egg rolls. Food was ready in about 20 minutes. Our dinners were good, but the egg rolls were really greasy.“

“It’s always a 5/5. Every time we order. The general chicken/orange chicken is REAL QUALITY chicken, not that hard to chew kind from most Chinese places. Theirs melts in your mouth. Especially if you get the white meat. Boneless spare ribs are tender, easy to chew, delicious. Wonton soup is wonderful. Beef and broccoli is my wife’s favorite. The beef is seasoned and flavored wonderfully. I also highly recommend the cheesesteak eggrolls. They’re like $2.50 a piece and amazing. Steak, cheese, onions, some kind of sauce but 10/10.

My order is always the orange or general chicken white meat, cheesesteak egg roll, wonton soup. Wife gets beef and broccoli or boneless spare ribs.

Portions are great, fair prices, great service. Clean kitchen and dining room. Only Chinese we order from anymore. Is that good.“

“Tried takeout today for the first time and everything was delicious. This is more of a takeout place since the vibe is very basic, but there are a few tables for eat-in. I had the Pork Rib noodles and it was a very large portion with fresh bok choy, nicely spiced pork, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. Also tried spring rolls and hot and sour soup (standards to see how they compare to other restaurants in the area). Spring rolls had options of chicken or chicken and shrimp, not greasy at all, and very good. Hot and sour soup was hotter than I've had elsewhere and not as thick as usual--i prefer this version. Prices were very good especially given the portion size of the noodles, easily enough for 2 meals. I will definitely be back!“

“Got general Tso chicken, pork fried rice and an iced tea for $10.50. No idea how they are able to charge this little but the food wasn’t bad at all. The pork fried rice was a lil blah, next time I will just get white rice. I didn’t call to order and my food took a lil while but I was very happy with the general tso chicken. Will order again.

“Tried a dozen places since we moved here 8 months ago. This is the first place we found with normal looking fried rice (Brown and white fried with char spots and multi colored) and not the all yellow rice. This was clearly cooked fresh, tastes fresh, will return.“

“A Chinese food place that I have been ordering from since I was little. It’s local and convenient. Great wonton soup and egg/spring rolls. They don’t have a huge variety of options but it is a smaller place. It’s also located in a good spot, right next to Double Decker and across from 7/11 so people are sure to recognize it“

“I've tried all of the available chinese food options in the gibbstown-paulsboro area and this place is far and above the best of them. The portions are great and the food is always tasty. The prices for all of them were about the same, but this place doesn't charge a really high additional fee for using credit/debit to pay. If you want Chinese food in this area, this is the only place you should go to.“

“I am closing in on 40 and have been coming to this restaurant since I was a small child, some of my earliest memories are family dinners at Da Chen. The staff here are amazing— kind, attentive, helpful, and generous. Their house made duck sauce and crispy fried wonton chips ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD. Do not sleep on them if you only ever order take-out! You receive the crispy wonton chips with any soup order, but you have to ask for their homemade duck sauce on the side (costs like 25¢ iirc)!!! My favorite foods from here are: wonton soup, their complimentary jasmine tea, shrimp toast, beef & broccoli, sweet & sour chicken, general tso’s chicken, pork fried rice, and the bao bao platter (it’s such a fun treat eating this for dine-in). You will always receive the same quality service and food here, and somehow over the years it’s even gotten better! Da Chen is child-friendly and has high chairs available to use, and is wheelchair-accessible straight from the ample free parking lot and into the restaurant. Da Chen accepts cash, debit or credit. “This is one of my favorite Chinese stores, I travel here from Philadelphia. They have some of the best food there. The chicken wings are the best to me. Every single time that I go here, I am welcomed and serviced properly! I love this place!“

“This is pretty much the only place i eat at this mall. For me the price is very reasonable and usually they have something i always enjoy. The spicy fried tofu (w/Veggies & Lo Main) is always great and my go-to when I want a filling snack.
I wish I could give bonus stars simply for the wonderful woman working the register today (9/1/24, roguhly 1 pm). She was amazingly friendly! While I patiently waited for my meal I noticed every customer who came into here (including myself!) was acknowledged and greeted, she made sure to ask if orders were correct double checking and all, and would always find something to compliment or have that moment of a quick impression/connection and making someone's day that much better. Not one person left without a smile. Someone like that is a very rare gift in the food industry. I wish I could give her a proper shout-out, but I never got her name!“

“Good Morning Google Family. How are you doing today? I decided to visit since I was so hungry!!! I do not like the white rice that the chinese places always give you so I asked for brown rice. I ordered a small won ton soup, 2 egg rolls and a Happy Family meal to go. I waited for a good amount of time and then they called me with my order. Thank goodness they have a seating area there to wait for your orders. I paid using my debit card and then they said I could have a can of soda. I got ginger ale for my mom and then I left. “I've never been to the store (I can't speak to the atmosphere) but I have been ordering regularly for a while now. The fried chicken wings (whole wings) are the best thing ever. I don't even like fried chicken fr, but the meat falls off the bone and the batter they use is perfectly seasoned. It's nothing too crazy which I like but it's still crunchy and they're equally good cold as leftovers. I've also tried the "plain broccoli" (it comes in a brown sauce), veggie fried rice, veggie egg roll, and steak roll. They use fresh broccoli every TIME and you can tell it is not frozen, they cook it a little al dente which is nice cause I hate when it's waterlogged or soggy with the sauce. They used fresh veggies in the veggie fried rice and cook everything perfectly. Their homemade ice tea is bomb and the container came NOT sticky/not spilled which in my experience always happens when you get it delivered if its not wrapped in plastic. super fast and accurate w the delivery orders. a+ on everything. 10/10 recommend.“

“Prices are a little high but overall the food is pretty good. Lunch special prices are great but outside of that orders can get very expensive very quick if ordering multiple things. Definitely call and order, don't use the online ordering cause the fee is ridiculous, like you could order an entire additional pint of anything on the menu with what you'll save calling in your order. General Tso's is always delicious tho sometimes I wish it was a little crispier. For whatever reason their Lo Mein is pretty bad anymore, used to be great. Food is always ready very fast, even delivery arrives really quick compared to anywhere else we order delivery from.
