“Been in Havertown for 9 months and never knew about this place! Prices are excellent. Huge menu!! They have a large variety of snacks and beer. Downside is they don't sell many energy drinks but have some unique sodas. They also have a place to sit inside. A deli wrap here is $6 compared to other places in town which are $10-12. I'll be a regular here.“
“Tiny “Hometown“ type bar. Everyone was very friendly. We had a cheesesteak, which was very good, and got to put pins in the map to show how far we traveled. Drinks were generous and atmosphere was very fun. We were there on a night when they were playing bingo. It was free and a very fun addition to the night. Only complaint is the smoking. I’m sure this is some kind of last resort for smokers, and they probably love it, but I could do without going back to my hotel smelling like a dirty ashtray after having a drink and a sandwich.Parking: Parking lot is tiny and only accommodates a few cars. street parking is hard to find. This place is at the intersection of a few streets, but there is one of the roads that has free parking across the busy intersection.“

I have only purchased subs & steak sandwiches, both served on the best darn rolls found in Philadelphia I believe. They bring to your table. Both have plenty of meat and or cheese with just the right amount of filler as you ordered. Tucked under the SEPTA overhead tracks, known only by the locals. I found it by pure accident riding the SRT one day and not wanting to be hassled with a long wait to find, be seated, € be served at one of the many restaurants located on the main street. “I'm from Maryland and have no local spots that can make a good cheesesteak. I can get lucky with a decent one from Pizza Bolis but it's never consistent. My first trip to Philly and Leo's did not disappoint. I got mushrooms peppers tomatoes and American cheese because that's standard ( usually swap the cheese). It was the best cheesesteak or sandwich type of meal I've ever had. Fresh ingredients, the meat was cooked and seasoned so well. I will be making a trip at least once a year for one of these.“
“The ribs were good and the brisket was better. The chicken was a bit dry. I called the day before and the day of to ensure I would have enough ribs for my order. Unfortunately, the ribs I asked to be set aside a portion of them was sold. But he did give me a chicken.“

“I've been here multiple times, and every time, I've never been disappointed. I've had a cheesesteak and fries and fried shrimp, and all of it was fresh and good! If I want a quick drink, I come in and grab a fresh fruit tea with little sweet, and I add popping bubbles to mine. If you ask they to customize, they will! They are awesome, clean, and quick!“

“Saad's is an institution. It is one of my favorite places in the neighborhood and all of Philadelphia. It feels like such an important part of the community because of how much everyone loves it, and the food is always the best. Everyone is so friendly, from the workers to the other customers, even Saad himself!! I have only the highest praise for Saad's.I especially love the sandwiches- they are all good, the lamb and chicken maroosh, also some of the best cheesesteaks in the city. The pistachio baklava is also something I always get and love.“

“We asked for a specialty pizza that they typically do not make. We asked for a pizza with their Honey Hot Sauce with pickles, and Bacon. They surpassed our expectations! From the service on the phone to the service in the shop was beyond 5 ?! We do not live that close to Tony's but will be making at least monthly visits. We appreciate your skills“

“Breakfast is excellent. Everything we’ve tried has been on point, and we’ve ordered about 4 times. We haven’t found porkroll egg and cheese on a bagel or scrapple egg and cheese that hits the mark, but this place has it and it’s delicious. Haven’t tried lunch/dinner yet but we will. Give them a try!“

“Took the wife to Philly for our anniversary and I could not leave without grabbing a cheesesteak… the wife got a chicken parm and we split a bacon cheese fry… large portions… cheesesteak was cheese, provolone and jalapeños only and did not disappoint… the chicken parm was really good too… the chicken was really good… and you can’t go wrong with cheese/bacon fries… food was served quick and fresh..! “I was visiting the Philadelphia area this past weekend, and I was hungry for a cheese steak. I had heard all about Gino's and Pat's, plus cheesesteaks in general within the Philly area, and I just had to have one. I went to Candelario's in the late afternoon. I was one of 2 people in the restaurant, and I ordered a slice of sausage pizza, and a cheese steak sub. Fantastic.I had my slice cold, as I heated up in my motel room, and it was terrific. My cheese steak was to die for. It was the best cheese steak that I have had in over 30 plus years. (I grew up in the Boston Area, and they were good, but this one was fantastic). If I get back to Philadelphia area, I will most definitely seek this place out, as the food I ordered was wonderful.Keep up the great work.“
“Mama's has THE BEST CHEESESTEAK. It's so big they give you a fork, knife, and a plate. Yes, it is better than Dalessandro's. In fact, if you like Dalessandro's you will love Mama's, it's a better tasting bigger version. I have been coming here since I was a kid with my father. The same woman has served me and the same man cooks the food. Currently only take out right now.
