“My second time at the establishment and it was just as excellent as my first. For me, hands down the best Manhattan in Philadelphia. And it was as good as my first.

I only ate French fries at my first visit having brunched earlier in Manayunk and they also were just as delicious. The Taphouse bacon burger was divine. Just the best mix of crispy edges, gooey cheese, fresh & delicious tomatoes (rare for January in the NE! ) and possibly a common , happy problem to have, SO much food. I enjoyed every bite & sip & our server for a fair sized group of more than 15 was friendly, efficient and very well organized.“

Delicious and relaxing. Fun small menu. I loved the BLT salad assembled with homemade dressing and high notes of fresh dill. The bacon perfectly crispy. We loved the blackened green beans! Burgers were also perfect.

“Castle Roxx is my go to stop. Every time I come I have a great experience. All of the bar tenders always are amazing and work so hard to make my experience the best in Manayunk. Eric and Vinny are two of my favorite bar tenders. They make even the slowest nights the most fun. I normally come during the week, as opposed to the weekends, and I never regret it.“

“My friends & I (party of 10) met at Capone's on Sunday, March 24, 2024. We were set up in a room that made it very easy for us to talk with each other while we ate. The menu gave a lot of options for all of us, the service was outstanding, and we were not rushed. “I come here fairly regularly with my running group. This a great neighborhood bar, the owner is awesome and super friendly. The food is also better than you'd expect for a dive bar, but it still has the dive bar charm. This is easily my favorite bar up the hill in Manayunk“

“I booked the Summer Decay Day show at Century and, I will be reaching out later this week about booking the Fall Decay Day because Century was an amazing venue and the show went super well. I can't thank Century enough for providing a place where we can all be weirdos together. We all had such a great time at the show and it felt great being able to pay all the acts at the end of the night (Century doesn't touch your money). The drinks were cheap, the sound was good, and the pit was bumping. It was amazing performing again and I couldn't have picked a better place to do the my first show back. Michele the waitress was great, polite and professional, my service was perfect, my prime rib dinner was fabulous, so was the crab cakes, salad, mash tasters, and french onion soup. There was not even a wait to get in at 530pm. Been going here over 20 years and will continue.“

They're mainly all neighbors who know each other but their are always new neighbors moving in. Krunch Inn is a great Irish Bar to watch sports and sometimes has live entertainment on special occasions. Its what they call "A place where people meet"“

“A friend and I went to The Greeks to watch the Phillies game and one of the worker that was behind the bar were being RUDE to us. We were sitting at the bar and (not even) 4 minutes into the game. He come to us and said; if you guys going to sit here, you have to order, than he added, I’m being serious. My friend and I both know that, but he DID NOT have to be rude about it by adding “I’m serious” at the end of that statement. Before the game even started, I told the other worker that was behind the bar that I would order a few minutes into the game.“

We were too late to order food but behind the bar and bar top seemed pretty clean. The booths near front entrance also looked recently re done. Even though we are not from the area- the regulars were welcoming.“
