“Everything was great. Definitely get the baked potato cheese. The wine and garlic seasoning was amazing! We had the "Bigger Night Out" and there was more than enough for both of us. The lobster tail had great flavor. The server was attentive and kind. Had the chocolate-covered strawberries at our table upon arrival, they were ripe and juicy! Just overall a great date night! Will be returning. One complaint, the veggies were cut way too thick, so we couldn't cook them in under 8 or so minutes. They need to be thinner. That's the only thing I would change.“

“This was a mixed bag. There were 8 of us. Parking is sufficient, right off 88, not hard to find. Easy wheelchair access. After ordering, you seat yourself. They don't take reservations. Waitresses bring your drinks & food to the table.You order at a cafeteria counter, but the food is upscaled. They smoke their own meats outside in the parking lot. The menu is varied with brisket & pulled pork as the smoked products served in familiar as well as new formats like a pulled pork taco. Smelled great, but I was determined to try the buttered lobster roll. It was amazing! Small, tender bun stuffed with the meat of 1 lobster all in butter, unfortunately I did bite into a small bit of shell. Hubby tried the lentil, ham, veggie soup. It was a pretty large bowl & really good. His entree was a shaved ribeye sandwich, also excellent, although I thought it could have had more meat. Crispy, salted waffle fries were terrific. Others had burger, small plate salmon dinner, crab cake - everyone was pleased. The desserts were not very good. Creme Brulee & cheesecake were good, cookies & brownies were hard, not good.Overall, I would go back again. Next trip I will be trying those tacos.“

“These burgers are like White Castle if White Castle was allowed to make their burgers bigger and more flavorful. Absolutely perfect from top to bottom! I don't normally like onions on my burger but the way these folks griddled them and incorporated them into the burger was a huge gamechanger. And the shoestring fries were as crispy, seasoned and eminently dippable as I've ever had them in my life. Customer service was efficient and friendly as well, so I have zero complaints. Will definitely be back and will more than likely be having 2-3 of these burgers after I finish the Pittsburgh Half Marathon next month. See y'all then!! :)“

“This might be some of the best food we've had in the area without having to go into the city. We had my husband's 40th birthday dinner here with about a dozen of us. Really friendly and they explained how they make much of their food. I was tempted by their chicken tenders, so I asked if they used frozen chicken tenders and they not only said “no” and explained how they made them, they just happened to be making a batch of fresh tenders and showed me the fresh chicken breasts they use to make them. I ordered their Nashville Hot tenders and they were AMAZING! The breading was very light and flavorful and the dry Nashville Hot seasoning was spicy… very tasty!!I also got their Deluxe Italian sub, half size and it was excellent! Very fresh ingredients and the sub came together great… Very Nice!!This place is carry-out only, but they do deliver and they do prepare food rather quickly. Highly recommend! My second sub was a God Father with, ham, turkey, provolone, mayo, lettuce, tomato, Yellow peppers, oil & vinegar and a little salt and pepper. I am not disappointed! The cocktail was their coconut mango "monito" and was served to me in the cutest little beaker. The staff here is super friendly and accommodating. We had a larger party and ordered a variety of cocktails and snacky foods. My favorite drink was the spicy rainbow sherbet. I had a mango highball with added jalapeño and it was ok! Nothing to write home about. A few friends had the vodka lavender lemonade and loved it. Three of us ordered the pretzel with cheese. They came out hot and buttery. Super delicious! The ambiance is welcoming and bright. There are two unisex bathrooms and they were both clean.“

A friend introduced me to this restaurant years ago and I’m so glad they are still around.It’s counter service and they only take cash (and FYI, they don’t accept the juror discount vouchers other restaurants in this food court do). Service is brisk and professional. My food was ready in just a few minutes.I always get the kyu-don, and it is DELICIOUS every time. It’s a pretty generous portion of beef, egg, and rice. I like it with the oil added on top to give it a mild spice. I’ve been tempted to try some of the other things on the menu — they all sound good — but the kyu-don is so good I just can’t not have it.I’ll be looking forward to coming back the next time I’m downtown!“
