“I visit here just about daily, as I have to walk a few miles for exercise, and to reward myself, I stop here for a treat. The store is clean, with indoor and outdoor seating, the advertised flavors are always available, and the most important thing, the young people serving me are attentive, courteous and friendly. (I also had a nice chat with the manager, an entertaining fellow who is doing a great job running things.) So my experience has been excellent, and has motivated me to continue my exercise routine. “If you have a sweet tooth, this is your top spot in West Chester. All your treats from from caramel apples to chocolate creams and everything in between. Great holiday elections, including Santas and driedels. Very friendly staff, and a vibrant and inviting environment. I could've dropped a few hundred dollars. Loved the raspberry and orange cream candies. I could've killed off a pound of them! Highly recommend stopping in!“

“Fantastic ice cream and in both the standard flavors but also in some that push you out of your ice cream comfort zone including corn. And you gotta live an ice cream place with a chili powder shaker! We have been here several times and the staff is very nice and the ice cream is amazing! This is a cute local establishment that is a short walk away from the restaurants on Main Street! Highly recommend to anyone!“

“Super yummy options! Gelato seems simple but texture is very important and Gemelli gave us a great experience all around. I highly recommend the cappucino WITH a shot of hot espresso for a contrasting pleasure. The prices are very reasonable for what you get. I will say do not get the flight option unless you have 2 or 3 people sharing- the price for 4 mini cups is exactly the same as 2 2-flavor smalls and you get smaller portions. I didn't like the caramel as it tasted a bit burnt to me but the milk and honey, cappucino, and biscoff cookie options were lovely. Definitely worth a stop by and people know- they have some seating options through the store if you wait to take a break and they keep coming!“

The storefront captures the essence of West Chester's European-inspired food and art scene, complete with fresh flowers adoring the brick facade and al fresco seating. Really sets a positive mood. Many flavor options to choose from. The gelato is buttery, soft, and full of life. Not too heavy, but very satisfying. I particularly enjoy the tiramisu, while my wife enjoys the hazelnut chocolate. Reasonably priced and we enjoyed our dessert at a small, nearby table for two. Our servers were friendly and happy to let us try new flavors before we ordered. Even with a small line, they moved quickly and no one had a wait very long for their orders. Highly recommended.“

“We had a great Saturday morning breakfast at Piccola Venezia. Seating was good, with multiple spacious options available on both sides of the restaurant. We enjoyed savory crepes -- one with custom ingredients then other from the menu -- but also considered the extensive sandwich selection that is available for breakfast. Quality of food and service was excellent.“

“When I heard about this place I had to go and check it out, Mexican Ice Cream. I was overjoyed with the customer service and the establishment was great. It ran decently and in order. Of course when I go, the line was outside the door, but once I got inside it was pretty nice. I ordered Rum Raisin, heard it was very good and I ordered Buttered Pecan. Both flavors were good. The rum raisin had lots of raisins, the butter pecan didn't have any pecans in it but it was still good and I gave it 5 stars instead of 4. I just hope they see this review and note to add pecans in the Buttered Pecan flavor ice cream. And I love the smooth texture nice and soft. I'll be visiting soon...“

“The service is impeccable! That one tall boy with the brown hair was very personable and helped me choose the best flavor combination possible. He knows so much about the menu and is a true expert in his field!!! I believe his name was owen. Keep it up owen!!!?“

“Delightful premises and delicious ice cream. OMG, the Vanilla Salted Caramel was to die for. The waffle cone was so crunchy and flavorful. Loved the setting with benches and tables scattered under a giant beautiful tree and cows on the hillside. Some crazy flavor options too... such as, Pumpkin Mushroom and Motor Oil! Wish I could have tried them all.“

“Our timing on Saturday could not have been better with Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard closing after Sunday for the season ? I got my traditional blue raspberry with custard and the wife got her root beer with custard. They were delicious! Rita should consider staying open through Halloween as I am sure they could come up with some ghoulish flavors to trick or treat us ?“

“This place is wonderful. Kids love their frozen yogurt. Their staff are amazing. I brought two boys there for a treat the other day with only my phone. They don't accept Google pay unfortunately but their staff let me and the boys go with their bowls with a smile. Of course I went back to pay - their trust in their customers was incredible.“

“Ironically, I just read another review that echoed my own frustration at this Rita’s. A few weeks ago, I brought my daughter’s softball team for a postgame treat and was shocked to learn that an option to tip with a credit card doesn’t exist. Glad to know I’m not the only person who thinks this is a bad idea. After receiving such great service, I was embarrassed when I couldn’t leave a tip and had to apologize to the nice girl who gave us such great service. C’mon Rita’s get with the program!“

“I wasn't going to post a review, but today I had another bad experience. About a month ago I waited over 25mins for 3 waterices & a funnel cake. I noticed on my receipt I was charged for an extra waterice. The cashier fixed it & apologized, but when I got the funnel cake it was hard as a rock so I returned it to the window. The teenager at the window told me he couldn't refund me & that he had to wait for his boss to get back. I was on my lunch break so I didn't have time to wait for another. So I sternly & kindly told him "that's not how business works sweetheart. This is no fault of my own. I need my money back please." He hesitantly gave it back. When I went today, there was a customer waiting for her order. Once she got it, the worker walked away while myself & another person waited in line. I waited for 2-3mins and left. I love that there's teenagers working there. Keeping the kids busy during the summer. However, the customer service just isn't good. They're kind but they don't seem to know what they're doing. Otherwise the waterice is delicious! Variety of flavors to choose from. Despite my experiences, I do recommend Dinos!“

“These ladies tonight were IMPECABLE! The way they acknowledged my granddaughter was amazing. She wanted pink sprinkles only on her ice cream, the young lady helping her decide was the greatest, no pink sprinkles could have turned into a catastrophe, this young lady talked her into rainbow sprinkles with pink and purple gummy bears! This is service...going a bit out of their way, making it fun for the kids! We will definetly be back and spreading the word about your staff!! Oh the ice cream was loved! Water ice too!“

“We could not find a Dairy Queen when we moved out here to West Chester. This place was great. I ordered like 5-6 things at once and the guy who took my order remembered all of it. I always feel good with places like this because I know the server is listening and won't mess up your order.“

“Excellent place to get ice cream with an extremely friendly owner who is hoping to sell the business to someone that will take care of it like he does. The ice cream comes from a famous Philadelphia institution and is quite flavorful. I got the Oreo shake and it was outstanding and delicious. I would come back here just for that. “This place was great. The cookie dough flavors are unique enough to keep coming in, but they definitely still have classics. They also let you try the flavors. The texture is like mousse. You can get ice cream and cookies too. The cookie dough is also good for 2 weeks in the fridge, so get a bigger size!!“

“If Rita’s is looking for someone to show/train other Rita’s how it’s done this Rita’s is it. Chris(manager) is amazing. If you have a flavor that’s not on the list, he’ll make it. If it’s not in stock, he’ll go get it from another Rita’s, even if you tell him not to worry about it. The online list of flavors is on the website faithfully everyday which is nice because I don’t have to call and bug them. Always clean, napkins stocked, trash empty, and plenty of workers to take your order. You can’t go wrong with this Rita’s. Customer service is beyond. Thank you for all you do Chris! “Brusters Icecream is a fun place to go to in the summer since it's outside. My husband gets the oat milk ice cream which is a nice option they offer. Only wish they'd add some picnic tables or a seating area of some kind! Then it'd be perfect!“

“Went there with four of my grandchildren on the first day of Spring. The line was long for free water ice, but the help handled it really well. We came at 4 PM which may have been close to the height of the mania. I was amazed we were able to find parking in the back. They were even willing to give us a mixture of two water ices on the free day.“

“My wife loves a vanilla double malted milk shake once in a while (or if possible everyday). We now have new go to place to get one or two of these. Sweet Lucy's makes the best around, and they have some good competition. I did not get the name of the young lady who made this for us yesterday, but Meg Hurst knows. “We were so surprised with the choices. Salads, Sandwiches, Chicken Fingers, VERY GOOD burgers. I watched him drop my FRESH burger and look it live. I love this place for its smoothie bar with REAl fruit too! Urban cafe should be in more locations.... Thanks URBAN TEAM for a great visit!“

“Love Insomnia cookies and took a friend who was visiting the area to this location. The cookies were good as always, the staff friendly, the location clean, and always inviting. My favorites are the chocolate chip, the chocolate chunk, the mint chocolate, the macadamia nut, and the peanut butter chunk. All are shareable, stay well and do well to reheat in the oven or microwave. You'll pay a premium for the cookies, but they're worth it. Late night service is a plus if you're out late at bars or enjoying other activities. The only critique is that there are some specials I would've taken advantage of, had I been aware. It would've been helpful to know before I placed my order.“

“Thinking or water ice, I think about Rita's. This place is just off Lancaster Ave, with very limited parking. But I am able to get in get out most of the time. Our favorite at this place is always mango ice.Good place and good water ice. Try this place.“

“I couldn't give them a five star since I work at DQ but I only get the waterice if that helps me not get fired from my job at DQ hahaha. Anyway this Rita's location has a better flavor water ice then others in my area. They definitely add more flavor which makes it taste oh so good on a hot day.“

“I'm not always a fan of frozen yogurt and normally prefer soft serve but this place has really good frozen yogurt and Dole Whip! They even have dividers so you can make your own sampler within your cup. And the owner was super friendly and helpful. We will definitely come again!“

“Super great casual place for family dinner, date, quick lunch and of course ice cream! The prices are a little high for the burgers in my opinion, but everything else is great portions for the price. My favorites are the smash burger salad and the turkey and avocado BLT sandwich. All of the ice cream is amazing and portions are huge.“
