“Waited 40 minutes for hush puppies while the restaurant was nearly empty at 3pm. Primary food order came 5 minutes later and my son’s order was wrong. It’s a shame because the food is good. But the service has been so slow both times I’ve been here. They did comp his meal. Just expect to wait a while and enjoy your drinks. Don’t come if you’re in a hurry.“

“We attended a rehearsal dinner last week at the Fox Barn and had an amazing time. The private room was beautiful, great ambience and lovely atmosphere. The food was good but it was the service that truly made the experience memorable. Our bartender Shannon, couldn’t have been more accommodating! She was super friendly, charismatic and her attentiveness was remarkable! From remembering what we had to drink, to bringing us refills without us having to ask, to going above and beyond to make sure our kids were happy and content. Numerous guests acknowledged how great Shannon's service was. Great venue! Great food! Outstanding service! We definitely recommend The Fox Barn, especially if you're looking for a venue or to host a party!“

“This was our first time at The Downtown, but it won't be our last.

The restaurant was clean and well laid out and decorated for Christmas. We were greeted immediately and seated quickly.

Our server, Bryce, was great. Attentive, friendly, and efficient.

Our drinks came quickly. My wife's cranberry margarita was especially delightful.

The food was excellent. It came timely, but not in a rush. We got the tots appetizer, which was really tasty - the beer cheese in particular. My wife got the French dip, with real roast beef, not just cold cuts. I got the Kinda Healthy salad (with a cheeseburger on top!), which was really great.

Overall this is a fantastic neighborhood restaurant. There were people at the bar watching the game and families with kids in the dining area, making for a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

“I think they are off to a good start. The menu seemed limited but I did hear they were updating this. The fried pickles were awesome and a very large portion. My son absolutely loved the chicken and biscuits and said it was the best he ever had. The wings were just average and needed more sauce but had potentialto be a 5. The service was great and everyone was friendly. Its really large inside and great for watching football, hanging out with a group of friends, or even having an event or party.“

Great selection of fresh desserts, made both on the premises and Shady Maple in Lancaster. Salad bar had a huge fresh variety of salad toppings. Katie, our server, was a delight. “This restaurant was great. We loved our hostess Reese! She was so sweet and is a great first person to see when coming in. Our waitress was great too (about 5’ tall, glasses and long dark hair ). We had the combo app and it was a great app to keep all 6 of us happy. My dinner was the Nashville chicken sandwich. Loved it! Drinks were great. It is big so, they accommodated our party well. We noticed a party happening and they did a great job handling the regular patrons along with the party goers. It was not loud and we had no idea really it was going on. “Rons Bar and grille....I have driven past here for 2 years and always think "burger joint" Well on Wednesday me and the young lady decided to try it. First impression when you walk is "wow, this isn't a burger joint" The decorators did a wonderful job. After a little wait to get seated (they were packed and the wait was faster than told it would be) our server Brianna (I hope I got her name right) greeted us and got our drink order. We checked out the menu and there are lots of mentions of fresh this and fresh that...I walked in wanting a burger but took a chance on the cheese ravioli and meatballs and she ordered the grilled rueben. Food came out and it looked amazing, but I am a picky Italian and wasn't sure what the taste would be. Amazing, absolutely amazing. I left nothing on plate and she devoured her sandwich. Meanwhile, when ever we finished a drink a new one appeared like a ninja!!! The server was amazing, the food was amazing and the place itself is amazing. Fast forward to Friday (tonight) we decided to go for a mother's day treat from our son. The whole family got together (4 of us) for dinner. Everyone ordered an Italian dish. I ordered the chicken parm. This was the best chicken parm I have ever had. Better than mom, grandma and even my own. I have eaten a ton of chicken parm in my 50 years on this planet. This is best. The chicken was perfect the pasta was perfect. Nothing was left on the plate. Needless to say this is my new go to Italian spot!!! I didn't get pics of the food but the pics of the clean plate says it all. Oh, we had the same server as the first time. Again. Flawless service! We will be back again and again“
