“This is THE sandwich shop. Period. Read amazing reviews from people about this place and decided to give it a shot yesterday afternoon. It was by far the best experience I have had in any restaurant in quite some time. I had ordered their Reuben, and I ordered a Steak Hoagie for a family member of mine. When I say I have been eating Reubens for a very long time, I mean it. This was the BEST Reuben I had EVER eaten. My family member also had stated that that was the BEST Steak Hoagie she had EVER eaten as well. Got the Turbo Fries as well, and they came with an absolutely delicious hot sauce that they make in-house. The owner(?) I think was the one who prepared our food, and after we had started to dig into this amazing food, he then proceeded to come over and ask us what we thought of the food. Man if that ain't the most wholesome thing you could experience while eating at a new place, I don't know what is! The woman who took our order was extremely kind and helpful as we ordered. If I could give this place 10/5 for Food, Atmosphere, and Service I absolutely would. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ENOUGH. You NEED a sandwich like what they make here. I will be back again, and again, and again.. you get the picture. My favorite place for sandwiches as of yesterday. Thank you to all who make this place as great as it is!“

“We’ve been to this location a few times since they opened and we’ve been satisfied every time. The staff are friendly and the subs have been good. The hardest part is resisting the donuts and ice cream that are also in the same plaza.Parking: Parking can be tight and limited depending on time of day“

“They make really good sandwiches. I had the Italian sub. The bread was soft and chewy and the fillings were tasty. I will probably go extra meat next time just because it tasted so good. My wife had the fish sandwich. This was no little fish sandwich! The filet of fish hung out a good 3 inches in each side of the bun. It's a plain sandwich with just the fish, but it was light and flakey (you can add cheese, tartar or ketchup. I would definitely recommend it.“

“Food was delicious as always. Service was on point to make sure it was made the way we wanted. Atmosphere cannot really be controlled as it is in the food court. So worth it though!!Kid-friendliness: There are options for children and the fries are not served scorching hot.“

“EDIT: Gave them another shot. Totally different staff this time. Ample bread choices and polite staff. Cute goth girl making sandwiches with a late-20s manager. Both very polite and fast. Maybe my prior visit was on a day with staff who didn't feel like making bread. Lol. Jersey Mike's have great sandwiches... as long as they have bread. Lol (I recommend the rosemary asiago)Original review: wow....This is the only SANDWICH shop I've ever been to in my life that ran out of bread. Your company literally only makes sandwiches lol,...and you run out of bread... isnt that like the main ingredient of a sandwich??? Bread should be the one thing you never run out of... like someone should look at 630 and be like "dang we're low on bread, let's make some more for the last 3 whole hours we're open." I guess you could only expect so much from high school kids.It would be kind of humorous if I wasn't starving. Sucks too.Because I love jersey mike's and I was looking forward to a juicy number thirteen. Avoid this unit and visit the one in blawnox instead.“

“W were a harmar location yesterday. We purchased a large pizza and the tray the server put the pizza on was filthy. It even had sauce smeared on it. The pizza was not cooked enough. The server was there but very unfriendly. I asked to be rated in the non bar area because I'm on crutches at this time. We were seat right beside the bar.“
“Truly the best customer service you can get anywhere these days. I ordered a box of subs for a work event, and the man who took my order was very thorough and made sure they made it exactly how I wanted. They put all the toppings on the side and even provided mini bottles of oil and vinegar. Every time I go in, the workers are all so friendly. Truly makes my day and would recommend this location to anyone looking for a great sub.“

“For years I had longed to take on the RoethlisBurger, but Peppi's hours aren't the most convenient for me. That is until a Saturday evening at Altar Bar with Icarus Witch and Kamelot caused Kay and I to track down dinner in the Strip District. And there it was, Peppi's. And they were...open?"Yeah, 'til 8PM," a guy behind the counter said."But the sign says...""Oh, ignore that. What'll it be, man?"Kay was frightened of the RoethlisBurger, so when I ordered it, she ran to The Clown across the street. After the fellow took my order, I was given a ticket, and was told to sit down and relax. As I waited, I took in the surroundings, gazing at the sports memorabilia and photos of patrons both ordinary and famous.Just as hunger pangs assailed my belly, there it was, enveloped in a paper plate in front of me: A homonculous of loose meat a la Maid-Rite gone malevolent. Ground beef, hot sausage, onions, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, scrambled eggs, and 'Merican cheese were all packed into a bread that was as flaxen as a Valkyrie and as airy as the morning mist. Upon doing some research I've found that it is called a Portuguese Roll, and it is pulchritudinous. This behemoth of a breakfast sandwich dazzled my tongue with its spice, filled my stomach amply with its bulky, chunky proteins, and soothed me with its fresh, fundamental vegetables, all of it held together with that amazing roll of rolls that threatens to make Italian bread passe via its sublime texture alone.'Tis the greatest sloppy joe to ever emerge from a steaming flattop.P.S. I found nothing "shabby" or "greasy" or "dirty" or "loud" about Peppi's. The service was friendly, the restaurant itself was clean, the atmosphere was quiet, and the sandwich was triumphant. If Primanti Brothers has a true parallel, it is Peppi's.One half of a Roethlis-Burger. I ate the first half and realized I didn't snap a pic.“

“One of the best cheesesteaks around. Menu is varied and delicious, with reasonable price combinations. Although the service isn't mind-blowing, they get the job done and help as needed. Dining is spacious and roomy, felt nice to sit down and enjoy the meal. Loved their cookies too, especially the chocolate chip. Really worth a try when in the area.“

“A Must-Try Spot in Pittsburgh!I recently had the pleasure of visiting Primanti Brothers during my first trip to Pittsburgh, and let me tell you, it was an unforgettable experience! This place is an absolute gem, and I can't recommend it enough. The atmosphere at Primanti Brothers is casual and welcoming, perfect for grabbing a bite to eat with friends or family. But let's talk about the food – it's out of this world! I tried their famous Reuben Sandwich on Rye, and it blew my mind. Picture this: grilled meat, melted cheese, coleslaw, tomato slices, and French fries all sandwiched between two thick slices of Italian bread. It's a flavor explosion with every bite! What I love most about Primanti Brothers is the authenticity of their dishes. Each bite is packed with flavor, and you can tell that they take pride in using quality ingredients. Plus, the portions are generous, so you definitely won't leave hungry.I also want to give a special shout-out to my bartender (I didn't catch her name, unfortunately). She provided top-notch service, always with a smile and great recommendations. Her friendly demeanor really added to the overall experience. If you're visiting Pittsburgh or even if you're a local looking for a delicious meal, do yourself a favor and stop by Primanti Brothers. Trust me, you won't regret it!“

“I go to this Bob’s Sun location once almost every week. I’m usually ordering for pickup. This is my experience:I call them when I’m ready to place my lunch order, usually between 11am and 1pm depending on the day. The staff member on the phone asks when I would like to pick up the subs. I usually tell them 20-30 minutes, though they have offered faster or longer before. They are very flexible. They are always very friendly and always read my order back to me to make sure they got everything and to clear up any questions. I’m usually ordering the same thing, I only have 2 sandwiches I usually switch between, and my father, who orders with me, always get exactly the same thing. When we arrive if there is no line they usually have my order waiting on the back counter, and I can check out with a tap of my card in under a minute. Very efficient, very friendly service, which is always much appreciated!Next, the atmosphere is not my personal favorite; it has a college town sub shop feel (precisely what they are going for, so 10/10 on execution) but it just doesn’t really do it for me. That said, there are plenty of tables inside to dine in if you choose, and there is usually something sports related in the TV. So if you need somewhere to take a break for lunch, they have you covered. The dining area is always clean and tidy, even when they are very busy.As for the sandwiches (which are my usual fare) they are likely the best sub shop for 5 miles in every direction (besides other bobs locations of course!). The sandwiches are made on Cellone’s sub rolls, which is one of my favorite breads. The toppings to bread ratio is always spot on, and the bread is hearty, so it doesn’t turn into a sopping wet mess right away like some places. If you are ordering takeout, I recommend getting the mayo/dressing on the side, it will help keep that bread fresh and dry. I’m pretty sure they make their Mayo and dressing in house, and they are very delicious! My go to subs are #2 Spicy Italian and #6 Classic ham and Turkey. Altogether, these subs will knock your socks off, and I recommend them to everyone!Parking: About 4-6 spots in front and maybe 6-8 in the back depending on traffic for other businesses. I have also seen people park across the side street in the Auto Parts store parking lots it’s maybe 50 feet from the door, too.“

I can't wait to return for another satisfying meal. Definitely a top-notch spot for a delicious and enjoyable dining experience.“
