“Silvia’s is one of the best restaurants in the area.

The guacamole is incredible, rich with fragrant lime, onion, cilantro, and fresh tomato. Not everyone puts tomato in their guacamole, but during the summer it’s a perfect fresh addition. I cannot emphasize enough how delicious her guacamole is and I won’t ask if she adds secret ingredients because I don’t need to know. I’m not making it at home. Silvia knows what’s best for me.

The torta cubana is our go-to comfort/power food now. It contains every protein under the sun, and plenty of sauce/egg yolk/beans to lubricate your mouth. It’s the ideal sandwich for a hungry, hard-working guy.

I can also highly recommend her desserts (this is the first place I’ve ever had chocoflan, a layered combination of moist chocolate cake and rich), as well as all the homemade beverages— they’re bigger than you think!

Also her rice is really rich and fragrant. It can seem a little under-salted, but this makes it a perfect compliment to the powerful flavors. The beans, too, rise above standard and make me want to just order beans.

Silvia’s hits the perfect balance between indulgence and feeling like I could eat here all the time. It is truly a treat and we try to go at least weekly. Love love love her to bits.“

“I just wish the other kfcs that were closer to my house was on point like this one. It was a Lil busier than usual on this trip but everything still went smooth. I actually go out my way to go to this kfc instead of the 2 that's like 5 minutes from my house“

“We ordered for the first time from here last night, take out. This was the best authentic Mexican food I we have ever had. Everything was so fresh. Their pico was the best I have ever had! Chicken burrito bowl was deliciousness, a ton of chicken! The fish tacos were amazing again so fresh! Had their guac and that was amazing as well. The food was not just thrown together, you can tell they put their heart and soul in to making the food. Not only was the food delicious but even the presentation for take out hit it out the park. This place is a hidden gem, next time we plan on eating in. This is definitely our new go to Mexican restaurant and so lucky it is only 5 minutes from us. Make sure to give them a try you won’t be disappointed.“

“Great food deals on the happy hour menu but I wish they had some more drink options. I believe it was discounted drafts and marg pitchers which are great but I was by myself before meeting up with friends so I didn’t want to get a whole solo pitcher even though it prob would’ve been worth it lol. “We decided to drop into this East Falls restaurant for Sunday brunch, and we're so glad we did. My husband ordered the heuves chorizo and I ordered the Cresta Omelet. Both were delicious!! My husband also asked for poblano pepper in his, and they accommodated his request. The restaurant is warm and inviting with exposed brick. Prices are very reasonable and the servings were generous. Management was super welcoming, and our server, Anna, was awesome. We will definitely be back!!“
