“Our first experience at a James Beard award winning restaurant (2017) and chef was incredible at Vernick Fish in Philadelphia to celebrate Trent’s graduation! I know now what this caliber of food and service means and all other restaurants pale in comparison to Vernick Fish and Greg Vernick(semi-finalist chef 2025). From the appetizers (dozen oysters from RI, MA, ME, PEI) to the drinks and main course were all uniquely exquisite and cannot be replicated anywhere else. The constant doting with new silverware at each course and cleaning of the table was undeniably royalty treatment. Even the bathroom was an experience-I need the hand lotion in my life (instantly made my hands look 30 years younger). The portions, ambiance and service were all equally perfect! I highly recommend you check out Vernick Fish. We will definitely return!“

“Finally, my husband was able to get a reservation at SAO! It’s honestly crazy how fast spots disappear, gone within seconds.

We’ve been fans since their time at Mawn, so we had high expectations for this new spot, and it did not disappoint. As someone who is Cambodian and grew up in Cambodia for half my life, I can confidently say Chef Phila and his team really delivered.

Everything we ordered was delicious, but the spicy crab gravy noodles were our favorite, packed with bold flavor and real crab meat. A must-order! Every dish was cooked perfectly, and I loved how rich and flavorful everything was.

The space is a bit small, though. I’d love to see them expand so more people can experience Cambodian cuisine.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. Overall, it definitely lives up to the hype. Highly recommend if you want to try Cambodian food. This place truly hits the spot!“

“We went for Valentine's Day. The food was delicious. I got the surf and turf and everything was cooked perfectly. Service was awesome - the hostess, servers and busboys were great. I'm so glad we went last night. Thank you !“

“Holy moly, this is a true hidden gem. The food was outstanding. A great menu and even better execution. I didn’t take pictures of everything but they wouldn’t do the food justice anyway. The pork chop was one of the best I’ve ever had. If you like pork chops like me you know that a juicy, tender, flavorful pork chop is the holy grail and this chef pulled it off. Everything we had was excellent. I’ll admit, I don’t like pumpkin but I tried my wife’s pumpkin risotto and I may be a convert. It’s amazing what a perfectly cooked pumpkin risotto can do. I can’t wait to come back to Philly and eat here again.

Drinks were also great and the bartender was a seasoned pro. Service all around was easy going and servers were just really nice people.

The space is small, but it’s been thoughtfully decorated warm lighting, comfortable seating, and nice touches around the dining area give it a cozy yet stylish vibe. “Delicious Indian cuisine. I’ve been struggling to find a good Indian restaurant since I moved to the Philly area about 6 months ago, and I mean really struggling. Out of all of the places I’ve tried, Srinagar takes the cake!!! The Chicken Tikka Masala is incredible and is the perfect spice level for a medium. I did only get delivery via a third party service, but would certainly consider eating in next time. Will be eating here again!!!“

“Customer service was exceptional. Seating area was a bit small but everyone was so friendly and worked as a team. Honestly the best service I ever had. I went for restaurant week and ordered the shrimp creole. Omg I cleaned my plate and was still salivating over the idea of more when I got home. My partner ordered the crab soup and the salmon. Eyes rolled in the back of his head y’all. Everything was so well and for my first time they left a lasting impression. Would definitely dine here again. I’m just disappointed the shrimp creole isn’t on the regular menu.“

“Wick's is awesome! Their staff is always super friendly! I always bring coolers of food from Wicks with me to the Outer Banks when I vacation there for a week in a house rental. Wick's has almost every product available; from burgers, hot dogs, french fries, onion rings, chicken fingers (homemade right there on site), all things seafood, chicken patties, roast beef and gravy and mac and cheese right in the aluminum pans to cook them in, vegetables, almost everything imaginable. I highly recommend this place of business.“
