I brought my boyfriend Abdullah to meet my family and it was one of the most special memories that I cherish deeply. Most recently when I came, I saw many peers from high school who may or may not have noticed me. Most distinctively, I saw a former athlete. This colleague used to be one of the best North Pocono football players as well as North Pocono track & field athletes who had his year book picture iconically taken on the railroad tracks. I would highly recommend coming here if you want to see North Pocono School District legends as well as have amazing food.“

“My wife and I are new to the area and wanted to try a new restaurant. I went online and saw that there was a country style diner complete with homemade desserts and huge portions. I had the Barell Burger and my wife had the Blue Burger. First off, you are really taken in by all the great decor in the restaurant. This place reminds me of Country Junction in Lehighton how they have it decorated. The coffee mugs are huge! We had dana and Carly as our servers and when I tell you these two are hands down the happiest waitresses I've ever had wait on us. You really can tell that they love thier customers. We will be back on Sunday for breakfast. Great place.“

“Wonderful lunch at Longhorn Steakhouse today. The 12 ounce ribeye was cooked perfectly as was the broccoli and the shrimp and lobster chowder. The service was great and so was our server. She made sure we had everything we wanted or needed. The prices were reasonable for such a fine meal. We will do lunch there more often. I highly recommend it.“

“We stayed at Jack Frost last weekend and went to Murph’s Hideway for dinner 2 nights. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and prepared super fast. There were 6 of us and all of us were very satisfied with our selections. Burgers were delicious, French onion soup was perfect, nachos were a hit for our family. We also tried 2 stews and both were very good. The drinks were good as well. All of us were happy with our meal so we came back to that place the following night too. It was snowstorm but the place was still open and served food. We will be back to Murph’s Hideaway next time we are in the area. Highly recommend this place.“

““A BRIEF STOP at COUNTRY CAFE” Today were on the PA interstate driving to a holiday weekend destination. We had been on the road for hours, and were starving. Google search for local food, and Country Café came up. When you first see the place from the road, it is very deceiving, because it looks small. It is spacious inside, and they can comfortably accommodate more than 50 people. We ordered the meat lovers omelette and the plates are so full we had trouble finishing! Very reasonable prices as compared to our Jersey Diners. The wait staff and everyone else were so nice and friendly. Whenever we travel we go out of our way to look for places like this. We’re glad we found Country Café. Highly recommended.“

“We attended the kids (4-7pm) New Year’s party yesterday. It was really cute. The staff were great! It wasn’t too crowded which was a huge plus for us. A nice time for youngsters and teens to enjoy on New Year’s Eve. And best of all, parents were home early and in bed feeling like they enjoyed New Year’s Eve. Thanks Dave and busters. We’ll be back next year!“
