“Food is amazing I really enjoyed the mozzarella sticks, little bit pricy. Staff is very nice and helpful. One thing is lack of seating especially because it was rainy. For that reason it gets a 2 on atmosphere overall however solid place and I can see it being very good for takeout.“

“I traveled here from out of town and I fell in love. I asked the handsome gentlemen, with the pretty teeth to surprise me and make me a Philly sub so that I will always remember Philly. And baby, he did the thing. I came there with my five adult children and they all loved it and they continued to talk about that subs the entire trip. “To me personally best cheese steak I've had so far! Many options to choose from on toppings and cheese, mine was around $17 but you get your money's worth - it's BIG. There are other things besides cheese steak and pretty sure they have drinks and beer. Order in the right window, when your order is ready they display your name on the screen and announce it on Mike/speaker and you pick up in the left window. It's CASH ONLY and there are no seats inside, some tables outside. We parked on the street and walked over, no designated parking lot. Staff was very nice. Highly recommend and definitely coming back!“

“One word, Fantastic! Also huge with terrific ingredients and roll. Went with the cheese with onions which did not disappoint. Huge line and crowd but process was efficient and sandwich arrived faster than expected.

Tons of options here with something for everyone. Went on a Sunday afternoon with some places closed but still plenty of options for any taste. Fun place but crowded. Fortunately atmosphere is chill and venue is worth exploring and definitely worth a trip! Am guessing a lot of locals come here for all the great options.“

I would recommend requesting salt on the cheesesteak as just a couple of times it’s been under seasoned but man are they stuffed! “After a long bus ride, I found myself hungry and distraught. I only had fifteen minutes to find dinner, and the closest Dunkin had already closed. Out of the corner of my eye, a red Philly Steak and Pizzeria sign glimmered ethereally, like an angel who departed from heaven to bless the churning city. Pizza would be convenient and filling, I thought to myself as I turned to cross the street and headed toward the restaurant. A kind gentleman greeted me as I entered through the talk glass doors and ordered a slice of pepperoni. This request prompted him to remove a slice from the display and slide it smoothly into the cavernous oven beside him. Its warmth brushed by me as he closed the oven door.

I watched the cars drive and people mosey by; all engulfed in the rush and clamor of the city street.

Pepperoni! The gentleman suddenly called, as I turned to see the warm slice lying gracefully on a paper plate and napkins that he held.

Thank you so much! I said, as I hurriedly grabbed the plate and headed to the door. Of course. Have a great night! He replied as I exited and headed straight back to Jefferson station.

As I waited for my train, I savoured the delicate slice I held—the wholesome crust layered with delicate tomato sauce and exquisite cheese—adorned with perfectly seasoned pepperoni on top. I finished the slice as my train came, and boarded with a full belly and a smile.“

“I'm cheeseburger fan and I was disappointed that we don't have decent options in Roxborough, today I tried Wonder cheeseburger and is really, really good and fair price, I would say that is between five guys and Shake shack. Really happy to have more options in Roxborough. I definitely going to go back for different options like the Mexican food options.“

“Oh my goodness!!!! We are from DC, my daughter and I came to Philly for the Urban art festival, I asked around about the best spots for food and Jim’s was the most recommend. After we packed up our art we drove over to Jim’s and ordered two cheese steaks. We hopped on the road, my daughter took a bite and said “mommy pull into that 711 parking lot because you have to eat this now!” She was so right and I’ve been thinking about it since we left. Thanks for a good time, staff was welcoming, wished us safe travels, and gave us amazing food. Thank you so much!!!“

“Really liked the food here. The hot chicken had a nice crispy coating and good flavor, with just enough heat from the seasoning. The gyro was good too. The meat was tender, the toppings were fresh, and the sauce wasn't too heavy.

The portions were pretty generous, and everything came out fresh. The place was busy when I went, but the staff were friendly and I didn't have to wait too long for my order.

There’s a good amount of variety on the menu too, so I’d definitely come back and try something else next time. Overall, really good meal.“

“I had family in from Connecticut. Our plan was to do DiLasandro's but...you can't eat inside and it's a 45 minute wait. We went across the street to Chuby's. We were not disappointed! The cheesesteaks and chicken cheesesteaks were great! And...the fries...the best I've had in a long time...crispy and delicious! If you insist on DiLasandro's...waiting 45 minutes and then going somewhere to eat it...I understand. However, if you want to sit down...and have fries with ZERO wait for a table...(DiLasandro's only has bags of chips) go for it. But...to me...I'd give Chubby's a 4!!!“

“We used Ambler Pizza to cater our wedding for 180 guests, and from ordering through delivery, Nick took so much of the stress off our plate.
Nick helped us plan a fabulous menu.
He even split the delivery so the cold items arrived first and the hot food came right on time. The delivery driver was on point, everything was organized, and most importantly, the food arrived hot and delicious.
We had Chicken Francese that practically melted in your mouth, Penne Rosa with a gluten-free option, Caesar salad, and party trays to complement our charcuterie table. Everything was fresh, plentiful, and absolutely delicious.
They even provided take-home containers for our guests, which was such a nice touch and our guests loved being able to take some delicious food home with them.
Catering 180 people is no small job, and Ambler Pizza made the entire process easy from start to finish. We couldn’t have been happier with the food or service and would absolutely recommend them for a party, wedding, or large event.“

Despite of the bad ones I decided to try it for myself I bought there cheesesteak fries and soda lunch special along with a brisket sandwich I also upgraded my fries to the Spanish fries, let me tell you something I wasn’t disappointed at all everything was great, flavorful, and hot it’s definitely a place to go to when I’m down the city! “Saad’s has one of the best cheesesteaks in the city. Yes, you heard that right. The halal nature of their cooking means they have the finest meats, cheese, and bread.
