“We decided on a Tuesday that we wanted to dine here the next day and were concerned that we didn't yet have a reservation. We were not able to make one online for 5 people. The next day, we were able to call in the early afternoon and speak to someone to make a reservation. We were so glad we did since the place became full not long after we arrived! Our hostess, servers, and all employees were wonderful, all 5 of our entrees were fabulous, and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience here!“

“Never sent condiment for Wings that we specifically ask for. They should be ashamed of what those wings looked like that Armstrong sent to me. There were no meat on the bones, so tiny especially what I paid for. I also ordered stuffed Mushroom with Crabmeat. No lemon was sent with the Mushrooms. You want down hill in my opinion. I will not be coming back.“

“Stumbled upon Albero Verde, when looking for a fine dining restaurant for our Anniversary that wasn't $50-100/ plate and was more accessible than downtown Pittsburgh....Albero Verde, did NOT disappoint. The owner and Chef, Anthony Pupo, introduced himself while delivering a small, unique tasting of a wonton with a twist. This small but mighty restaurant provided top notch service, an intimate dining experience, good music, the option of BYOB, and the FOOD was too die for. The wonderful waitress suggested that we split the Wedge salad, and I appreciated the suggestion as 1 was plenty for 2 people...but when she brought it out, they had plated it on 2 seperate plates for us, taking away the hassle of dividing the dish ourselves at the table. We then had the Octopus and Beans and Greens appetizers.... both delicious. For our main course, we had the Fran and Fudge (named after the Chef's grandparents) a HEALTHY sized bone in porkchop with brie and goat cheese pierogi and the Scallop and Langoustine Spaghetti... both excellent! For dessert we had the Pomegranate Semifreddo, a refreshing frozen yogurt and a mini chocolate cannoli. We will absolutely be back! Thank you, Chef, for a lovely and tasty evening.“

“Excellent place to have dinner. I ordered the corn and crab chowder. It was delicious and tasted like beef, corn, and crab chowder. I definitely would get that again. I also ordered the crab cakes with fries. Those guys were so yummy. It's a bit heavy on the salt but delicious. Shana was our waitress, and she kept us tended to with excellent service. We are staying at this hotel tonight, and I'm tempted to order that corn and crab chowder for a bedtime snack later because it was that good.“

“I like the 2-2-2 it's a breakfast meal you can get two pancakes or two toast you can get bacon or sausag and eggs it's around $9 it is 8 something but you got to think about tax everybody's so sweet and if you're lucky enough your kid can get a fruit snack and the cheeseburgers but the only bad thing is is tax and you have to pay for water but other than that it's pretty good if you go there every day they always remember you and it would be nice if they add kids meal

“MY friend and I went there on Saturday to celebrate our birthdays..Our server Adam was simply amazing. He patiently waited for us to decide on our drink order and went as far as to let us try the drink to see if we liked it, which we didn’t but he took it off our bill and then brought us a birthday card and wished us a happy birthday. The food was very delicious. But our main complaint comes down to Adam !! He was so fantastic and such a kind person . They truly have a rare gem in him as an employee! I hope they appreciate him because he is what makes it a truly wonderful experience there. We will definitely go back there and if we are lucky Adam will be our server.!!!“

“I've been ordering from Big Shot Bob's in Avalon for over ten years. They're the best in the Burgh. They opened on New Year's Day to provide fresh delicious wings. Pre-ordering wings for New Year's Day was a breeze and the service is very friendly. I was able to call and make a change to a pick up order with ease.

My all time favorite all Old Bay Wet. What's pictured, Black and Gold, Garlic Ranch Wet and Big Shot Bob's Signature.

“Went there for the first time on a Saturday for dinner. Nice place with lots of options. Our server who was doubling as cook was super nice and answered all our questions and special requests. I got the Cranberry Poppins salad. It was fresh, delicious and very large. The rest of my party had the fish sandwich, the chicken tenders and fries and the Alcove Burger. Everyone liked their food. “Food is delicious! Price id good. Waiter needed a lot more personality, needed to learn menu. He might have been new. It's an old place that could use a make over and a cold air deflector from the door. But the food is very, very good.“

They pay their rent in one night in tips and still get unfriendly. Id recommend training for stressful environments for the staff. Other than that its good.“

I had to walk to a gas station to an ATM to get the cash. Besides that, the people that work in this place they are very polite and nice, they offer me coffee, and greet me properly.
