“Stopped in here to grab some early dinner and got a small pizza with some wings. First things first, their homemade mild sauce for the wings is very good. The pizza was typical pizza to me, but the veggies were all fresh and that sets them apart from almost all other locations. I will be doing the Italian sandwich for dinner tonight.“

“This place is the best. I haven't had pierogies that tasted like my grandma's since she passed. So trust: This place is legit if you are looking for authentic pierogies. I purchase from her every holiday and the family loves it. The owner is a sweet woman, too. Not understanding the snobby reviews here - she certainly doesn't deserve the rudeness.“

“I've been ordering from AJ Bambino for almost 8 yrs now. My family & I are regular customers. Their food is amazing. They are very clean. The Philly steak hoagies & spinach pizza are a plus other than the regular pizza & hoagies that we've gotten. “Came here for a belated birthday celebration with a friend. Highly recommend! Great food and fabulous service. I got the pork chop, which was perfectly cooked and came with a terrific sauce. My friend got the flatbread and the mushrooms as a meal and was very happy. Our waiter was super personable and kept a close eye on everything - I was really impressed by his attention to detail.
Keep in mind that tables do have a 90 minute limit. The hostess came up and very politely reminded us at our time and asked us about dessert. We said no, but they kindly brought us some ice cream with candles to celebrate (just a lovely detail!)
I would 100% come back again and I'd love to check out the patio which looks like a lovely, quiet, natural spot to enjoy dinner.“

“I cannot stress enough how amazing your restaurant and staff are. We’ve been patrons for years and have never experienced any issues. Our most recent two visits with our 3 young grandchildren were effortless! We love the food and staff so much. I will mention Vince as he waited on us both times and is so attentive as ALL the staff we have had. We love the mother/daughter staff, but I regret that I don’t know their names. My personal favorite is the custom calzone. I asked for thin dough and both meat and marinara sauce on the side. I was delighted that it was all perfect and I took half home! “This is my pizza place. Everyone has their choice, and this one is mine. Florence serves a fantastic cheese pizza with a slightly crispy crust with a perfect balance of sauce and cheese. They don't spoil their cheese pizza with provolone and have a great sauce that isn't sweet and holds on the pizza perfectly.

Florence also offers other food that is great. Their pesto margarita was a wonderful change of pace with a homemade pesto sauce lovely globs of mozz.

The choices of 5 sizes of pizza allow you to get a small pie if it is just you at home or a jumbo pie that feeds the whole family.

Their store is small up front, but they make up for it with some of the nicest folks in Pittsburgh. New to the area, they are loving the town here and quickly making themselves at home here in the North Hills.

In a town that has a pizza shop in every plaza, Florence stands out with high-quality ingredients, great pizza, and a fantastic family run shop. I look forward to many more delicious pizzas and lots of other options from their menu.“

“What a surprise! My daughter chose this for her moving away dinner…we had never been there so wasn’t sure what we would get… it was absolutely delicious! It’s a very rare occasion that you find a restaurant that can properly cook seafood, especially mussels and scallops…. They did a fantastic job. Our server Alexis W. was awesome as well!“

“Stumbled upon Albero Verde, when looking for a fine dining restaurant for our Anniversary that wasn't $50-100/ plate and was more accessible than downtown Pittsburgh....Albero Verde, did NOT disappoint. The owner and Chef, Anthony Pupo, introduced himself while delivering a small, unique tasting of a wonton with a twist. This small but mighty restaurant provided top notch service, an intimate dining experience, good music, the option of BYOB, and the FOOD was too die for. The wonderful waitress suggested that we split the Wedge salad, and I appreciated the suggestion as 1 was plenty for 2 people...but when she brought it out, they had plated it on 2 seperate plates for us, taking away the hassle of dividing the dish ourselves at the table. We then had the Octopus and Beans and Greens appetizers.... both delicious. For our main course, we had the Fran and Fudge (named after the Chef's grandparents) a HEALTHY sized bone in porkchop with brie and goat cheese pierogi and the Scallop and Langoustine Spaghetti... both excellent! For dessert we had the Pomegranate Semifreddo, a refreshing frozen yogurt and a mini chocolate cannoli. We will absolutely be back! Thank you, Chef, for a lovely and tasty evening.“

I get the deluxe cheese steak on pizza bread and it is so delicious and great size and one of my my favorite places to get a steak sandwich!! The Kris loaded fries are just that. One of the few places that aren't skimpy on toppings and I just love the fries that are slightly seasoned. They actually are my favorite place to get loaded fries. The white pizza is delicious as well! I have never had a bad experience which is unheard of for a place. I can't wait to try their wings. Thanks for doing such a great job all around!“

“We often order delivery from here and are always impressed with the quality of the food, the quantity, and the speed of delivery. Tonight it was chicken parmigiana with angel hair and a side salad with fried zucchini as an appetizer for me, while my dad did the build-your-own-pasta with gnocchi and carbanara (bacon, mushroom cream) sauce and caesar salad. They said it would be an hour and it was only 30 minutes. I don't know how the fried zucchini travels and still arrives crispy, but they do it, and it's awesome, large slices, very generous, like a whole zucchini, with crisp, though not too thick, breading. It does not include a dip, only lemon wedges, but I have ranch dressing here. The chicken parmigiana was two large breasts, breaded, moist, and smothered in sauce and cheese. The side salads are generous with a thick slice of cucumber, grape tomato, red onion, and lettuce (the caesar - not real authentic but good - with croutons, black olives, grape tomatoes, lettuce, and parm cheese). We are never disappointed and always have leftovers. The one time something was wrong with our order, they promptly came back with what was missing and gave us a credit. Try the focaccia pizzas for a week's worth of great food! Highly recommended!!!“
