“Came here when I was on a trip from out of town. The woman on the phone was extremely pleasant, which was very refreshing considering how most to-go places are nowadays. Customer service is truly top notch.

What was even more surprising was how truly delicious every part of our meals were. My wife and I were shocked by the massive portion sizes and the high quality of the food. Everything was amazing.

“We love it and I compare all other restaurants to Roland’s. I normally don’t like marinara, but I love Roland’s and their Special Roland’s sauce is primo good. The desserts are top notch. I’ve not tried the pizza yet because I’m obsessed with every entree I’ve had. The Italian hoagie is very good. Is that homemade roll? It’s that good. I enjoy the rustic interior too.“

From the server(Dominic) who was friendly, always right there and check on our table periodically making sure we always had what we needed! the drinks, the food, the dessert, everything was a 10/10. “I went here for a birthday, I haven't been here in a while and that's a shame because this is my favorite restaurant. The service was absolutely top-notch. I can't remember her name but she serves Ray and Julie. It was Ray's birthday. Anyway, I told the server I was absolutely starving as soon as I sat down and if I could get salad or some breadsticks. She went away immediately and came back within a minute with something for me to eat while we waited for the rest of the guests to arrive! “Gina, our server was the most outstanding, cordial, efficient, caring server we have ever had in ANY restaurant. We all love Ollive Garden food. “i recently came down with kidney failure and had to go on a bizarre diet and one of my all time favorite foods(ossos pizza) was the first to go due to the the 🍅 sauce😭 but I now have both a primary and secondary donor ready to go so when I'm all patched up the first place I'll be visiting is ossos pizza to down 3(maybe 4) full boxes of no pep extra cheese pizza 🤣“

“Al's Cafe did the catering for my mother's memorial service this past Saturday in McMurray. The food was exceptional and my family loved it! Jordan went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect! The food was hot even though the service went an hour longer than I expected, (we were blessed to have an amazing mom)! “This was our first time eating from The Other Place, after being recommended by family. We ordered a pizza with double pepperoni. There was plenty of cheese (a big plus, or really as it should be), and the pepperoni were small and curled up on the edges, nice and crispy just like I like. Paying extra for double pepperoni, I think there could've been more. I appreciate that the sauce and pepperoni were flavorful, but NOT spicy. I have zero tolerance for spicy heat (even black pepper is too hot for me!) and oftentimes I find that pizza sauce and pepperoni are spicy with little actual flavor.

We also ordered an Italian hoagie minus the olives (I've never heard of olives on a hoagie!) and it was tasty. The bread was fresh, the sweet onions were great, and I appreciate the Italian dressing was on the side. Usually the filling overflows a hoagie, so I'm deducting 1 star because I feel like hoagie could've had a bit more, and the pizza definitely should've had more pepperoni (having paid for double).

We were told it would be 30 minutes, but the food was hot and ready to go in under that. The lady who took our payment was super friendly and engaging. (Even my young daughter commented on how nice she was as we were leaving!)

Overall I highly recommend The Other Place and would not hesitate to eat here again!“

The Arincini was Sooooo good ! We ordered Bolognese and some slices and just split it so we could each try everything !! Im usually not a rigatoni fan and perfer a long noodle but this rigatoni was the best. Also got the Zepelini to go, Im sure it will be even better! I cant wait to come back and try the Alfredo !“
