“We had planned a pizza party after our lacrosse practice, but a thunderstorm threw a wrench in our outdoor plans. We called the shop to see if we could bring 25 athletes and coaches into the store instead, and they went above and beyond to accommodate us. When we arrived, the staff had reserved tables prepared and the pizzas were already set out for us. The staff was courteous, friendly, and made us feel right at home. We truly appreciate their support for local youth sports teams. It's businesses like this that make our community so special. Thank you for helping to make our event a success!“

“I ordered tonight's dinner for the family in a pinch because I didn't have the chance to grocery shop today (Busy).First thing the food was made lightning quick so always a good start. The food was ON POINT, Also want to mention it was made exactly how I ordered it. Light sauce was actually light sauce and cooked well done as asked also. Yesterday, when my wife went in to pick up a delicious stromboli the owner said, "I think I have your daughter's doll." For him to have kept this doll for weeks is so touching. “I am a local truck driver. As I finished my last delivery almost 2 hours from home. I google “subs near me”. This place popped up. Wasn’t too far out of my way. And I didn’t have a trailer so I went off to find this place. (Small shops are the best in my opinion), the Italian sub on a fresh baked roll was amazing. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area. “I chose this place for pizza because of the excellent reviews. I was not disappointed. It was my first time here, and Nathan greeted me with a smile and a pleasant demeanor. He took my order for a pepperoni pizza. However, when my pizza was served, it did not have pepperoni on it as I thought I had ordered. The young lady who brought my food out (also very nice) clearly showed me that my receipt was for a cheese pizza. No big deal, as the pizza looked delicious and I was hungry. No more than 5 minutes went by when Nathan came to my table with a complimentary cannoli. He apologized for me not having a pepperoni pizza. Customer service above and beyond! The pizza was excellent. I will return.“

“This is my favorite place for pizza and kids food, but I had never tried their Lasagna until today! “I went in today for some slices and a drink all for $7. A great deal with even better pizza. The cheese on the pizza was so fresh and cooked perfectly, it smelled very good from the start. I need to know where they get their cheese from so i can buy it for home! Overall extremely friendly and seem to know how to cook great pizza. “Pizza By Alberto’s It's been 3 years since we stopped by simply because we moved to another state. While we were back in town, we have to stop by our favorite Pizza place to see if they still had the best pizza in this area. We arrived there about 1:20 pm on Thursday. They were not full and only had one other booth with someone in it. The place was neat, clean, and smelled great. In fact, I believe they were cleaning the kitchen as we walked in. From what I could see it was spotless. Our waitress came over introduced herself as Jace and took our drink orders. We ordered water, tea, and a beer. She then took our food order which was the Alberto's Special. This Pizza has your choice of 8 toppings. We ordered the Peperoni, Ham, Green Peppers, Mushrooms, Onions, Bacon, Extra Cheese, Black Olives. Every time we go there, we always ordered this Pizza special. We also ordered two side salads and an ordered of garlic bread. Our salads came out fast and were good as was the garlic bread and the beer was cold and tasted great. About the time we were done with our salads the Pizza came out. It looked very good and tons of toppings. When I bit into the Pizza it was very hot and the toppings were so good, and the crust was done perfect. I can't tell you how much I loved this, Pizza. I knew then I was giving it 5 stars. Tonight we were served by a new employee who was feeling nervous about getting everything right for us, but he was doing a great job and the result was the best tasting pizza we've had there yet... and we've had some amazing pizzas.

“walked in the door and sat to the right the kid behind the counter watched us walk in and sit down. 5 minutes later he delivered a drink to a table on the other side of the room he looked over at us and went back behind the counter we sat there for almost 10 more minutes so we walked out. he never said one word to us at all“

“Visiting York from out of town. I had an inch to eat some Stromboli like one does in Pennsylvania. We were lucky enough Shakey Jakes was open until 11. My team and I visited and most of us ordered a Boli. We were told a small would feed one person. So I ordered a large. Holy Stromboli, this thing was huge. I only got through half but I brought it home so I can enjoy it for the next two days. It was so good I felt like it was sent from heaven above. This was EASILY the best food I have ever eaten in Pennsylvania. I can't recommend Shakey Jakes enough. Can't wait to go there again in 3 days when I finally finish my large Boli.“

“I cannot even begin to express how grateful we are for the kindness and exceptional service provided by Jim & Nena's. After a failed delivery with GrubHub it was much needed!! They were patient with GrubHub and my husband as all 3 worked together in rectifying the situation (which was no fault of the restaurant). They not only offered to deliver our order themselves (so we could stop dealing with GrubHub), but also gave us an additional pizza!! Ps. The bacon cheese fries were LOADED in cheese & bacon & they were absolutely delicious. We will certainly be stopping here more often (rather than ordering through GrubHub).“

“I love this place, it's very hole in the wall but for having Pizza in the brand name they do so much more. I work nights so I get food from here often but I don't have to get the same thing all the time. So far my only criticism is about 1/3rd of the time when I order a square cut pizza it gets delivered and it's regular cut, but that's really been about the only hiccup in the service. Other than that it's one of my staple bad for me food places in town lol“
