“I always always always stop in here when I’m in York to pick up a large cheese. The pizza is always solid which I appreciate. It’s kind of a no frills joint with a lot of Italian options. The service is fast and the staff is always pretty pleasant“

“We had planned a pizza party after our lacrosse practice, but a thunderstorm threw a wrench in our outdoor plans. We called the shop to see if we could bring 25 athletes and coaches into the store instead, and they went above and beyond to accommodate us. When we arrived, the staff had reserved tables prepared and the pizzas were already set out for us. The staff was courteous, friendly, and made us feel right at home. We truly appreciate their support for local youth sports teams. It's businesses like this that make our community so special. Thank you for helping to make our event a success!“

“I made a phone call order and Sebastian answered the phone. He was providing great service and answered many of the questions I had. His customer service is great and he showed no attitude when I asked him the same question five times! I love Papa John’s, and after this experience, I will definitely be ordering again!!! Yesterday, when my wife went in to pick up a delicious stromboli the owner said, "I think I have your daughter's doll." For him to have kept this doll for weeks is so touching. My daughter cried with joy that it was found and returned home. Thank you 1000x for being the best! This is the kind of customer service that makes life long patrons.“

“I chose this place for pizza because of the excellent reviews. I was not disappointed. It was my first time here, and Nathan greeted me with a smile and a pleasant demeanor. He took my order for a pepperoni pizza. However, when my pizza was served, it did not have pepperoni on it as I thought I had ordered. The young lady who brought my food out (also very nice) clearly showed me that my receipt was for a cheese pizza. No big deal, as the pizza looked delicious and I was hungry. No more than 5 minutes went by when Nathan came to my table with a complimentary cannoli. He apologized for me not having a pepperoni pizza. Customer service above and beyond! “Pizza By Alberto’s It's been 3 years since we stopped by simply because we moved to another state. While we were back in town, we have to stop by our favorite Pizza place to see if they still had the best pizza in this area. We arrived there about 1:20 pm on Thursday. They were not full and only had one other booth with someone in it. The place was neat, clean, and smelled great. In fact, I believe they were cleaning the kitchen as we walked in. From what I could see it was spotless. Our waitress came over introduced herself as Jace and took our drink orders. We ordered water, tea, and a beer. She then took our food order which was the Alberto's Special. This Pizza has your choice of 8 toppings. We ordered the Peperoni, Ham, Green Peppers, Mushrooms, Onions, Bacon, Extra Cheese, Black Olives. Every time we go there, we always ordered this Pizza special. We also ordered two side salads and an ordered of garlic bread. Our salads came out fast and were good as was the garlic bread and the beer was cold and tasted great. About the time we were done with our salads the Pizza came out. It looked very good and tons of toppings. When I bit into the Pizza it was very hot and the toppings were so good, and the crust was done perfect. I can't tell you how much I loved this, Pizza. I knew then I was giving it 5 stars. “Visiting York from out of town. I had an inch to eat some Stromboli like one does in Pennsylvania. We were lucky enough Shakey Jakes was open until 11. My team and I visited and most of us ordered a Boli. We were told a small would feed one person. So I ordered a large. Holy Stromboli, this thing was huge. I only got through half but I brought it home so I can enjoy it for the next two days. It was so good I felt like it was sent from heaven above. This was EASILY the best food I have ever eaten in Pennsylvania. I can't recommend Shakey Jakes enough. Can't wait to go there again in 3 days when I finally finish my large Boli.“

Nino’s Pizza has become our favorite place to go for a slice of pie! Their pizza is amazing quality and always looks presentable! I highly recommend the buffalo chicken pizza, veggie pizza, and cheese pizza as they will absolutely bring you satisfaction and hunger for more!! I also deeply recommend you try one of their subs as they make their bread from SCRATCH!! Fries are delicious too. “I cannot even begin to express how grateful we are for the kindness and exceptional service provided by Jim & Nena's. After a failed delivery with GrubHub it was much needed!! They were patient with GrubHub and my husband as all 3 worked together in rectifying the situation (which was no fault of the restaurant). They not only offered to deliver our order themselves (so we could stop dealing with GrubHub), but also gave us an additional pizza!! Ps. The bacon cheese fries were LOADED in cheese & bacon & they were absolutely delicious. We will certainly be stopping here more often (rather than ordering through GrubHub).“
