The food was excellent and my server, Julianne, was outstanding, she was very attentive and helpful in suggesting what to order and in providing details about the various items on the menu. Everything was reasonably priced as well. I will defintely be returning.“

“I recently worked as a photographer at this bar/restaurant space that was being used for a wedding. There is a small space in the back thats great for pictures and small parties. They also have a bar upstairs and ample parking across the street. The appetizers were delicious and creative. Its a nice venue to hold a small event or to have drinks/dinner.“

The peach martini I ordered to start was first rate - and served in a chilled glass. The fresh baked bread was a nice starting touch. The beet and goat cheese salad was generously sized. All four of us enjoyed our main courses, including lamb chops, scallops, and the sea bass special. Two members of our party had special requests (nothing peppery, etc) and the kitchen was very accommodating. Noise level was very low- maybe because this was the Saturday night of Easter weekend. “A true marriage between a coffee shop and cocktail bar. They serve traditional café fare here, as well as signature flavored lattes, craft coffee drinks, and many cocktails with a coffee or tea twist. Every week, there's also a new special on the menu. They also allow guests to bring food, so you can cozy up with a drink and some bites and hang out late into the night (which we have done many times!)Vegetarian options: Almost all drinks are vegetarian, and vegan milk alternatives are available upon request.“

“I used to come here 30 some years ago when it was Sonoma. It has been several other restaurants through the years but this is the best by far. There are 2 bars. One on the first floor that has retractable windows to open up to the outside. Then there is my favorite bar upstairs. Light, airy, nicely painted walls with olive leaves and glass ceiling.There is a happy hour Monday to Friday, 4 to 6pm. All their signature crafted cocktails are $7 and they are delicious. Our bartender, Jeff, was welcoming and very knowledgeable about his craft. Love that they use a lot of local products. There are other drink options (see my menu photo below) and fun food items. We ordered 2 pizzas (shrimp and artichoke and the pepperoni). Both were fabulous.I will be returning again for their in house made pasta and I can't wait.Parking: People often think that parking is difficult in manayunk but there are plenty of options in the nearby lots if you can't get one on the street.“

“Fantastic selection of locally brewed beers and distilled liquors. Small selection of happy hour drinks (1 each of wine, beer and vodka) available until 630pm. Beers and ciders on tap are reasonably priced, and they allow outside food. The merch was pricey ($28 for a t-shirt!), otherwise it would've been a great souvenir.“

“Fun spot and a don't miss restaurant when you're in town! I met some friends for brunch. We enjoyed the white sangria and spicy bloody Mary. From huevos rancheros to the eggs your way, everything was fresh, the food came out quickly, and it was tasty! We sat upstairs and loved the room decor. “We dined here when my sister was in town. Although we had The Cage in the GPS, the actual name on the outside was Select Pizza Grill. We had to call to find that out because we thought we were lost. Parking: A private lot Atmosphere: low lighting and great ambiance. Service: Ashley was our server. She was very patient and took the time to give us the drink info. Ashley was the best! She tried her best to understand our request even when I got tough. Ashley Rocks!!! Drinks: 1. El Classico: 100% agave mezcal tequila, historical French herbal liqueur, and a homemade pineapple cordial, topped off with our famous mango foam. This drink has a smokey end to it. Once you get over it, it isn't bad, but the smokey flavor may turn you off 2. Tikki Takka: a blend of 3-year-old white rum, exotic passion fruit liquor, cranberry juice, and fresh passion fruit purée, all finished off with a lovely house-made grapefruit foam. It was ok. Note: Their special drinks are pre-mixed, so you CAN NOT add or take away. Food: Small plates: 1. Double truffle fries. Very delicious and crispy! Great truffle aioli dipping sauce!! 2. Korean tacos. Very flavorful! The meat was tender!! I didn't read the ingredients I just ordered. so when that soap taste hit my pallet, I had to spit my food out and scrap the rest of it off. 3. Chicken Yakitori. Omg!! Tasty! Entree: 1. Jumbo shrimp risotto: it was ok. I needed a little more favor. Note: Although they have all the ingredients, you can not customize your meal even if you are willing to pay an up charge. That is so disappointing. On the way out, we met the manager Nektur, and he was nice and engaging. Overall, we enjoyed our food, and we would definitely come back.“

“Came here on a Sunday for a late lunch and it was pretty empty inside and outside. I was excited to try the newer location - the menu looks to be the same at all of the Dan Dan locations. The food came out insanely quick (almost a little too quick) and was exactly how I expected it. I would rank the Dan Dan locations in this order for both food and service: 1) Center City, 2) Ardmore, 3) Wayne. The natural lighting was beautiful and there's a section that looks like a sunroom/patio situation. I would love to sit there next time.“

“Can I give 6 stars!?!? Holy cow, did Goat’s Beard Manayunk NAIL it for my birthday party this weekend. Every single aspect of the party was on point and above expectations. From someone taking coats as soon as people entered to the speedy and excellent service of our waiter, Tim (amazing is not a strong enough word for him!). The food was delicious and all of the staff were accommodating. Everyone attending the party commented on how perfectly the party, drinks and food flowed. “Well if you've ever experienced a wonderful little neighborhood bar Frank's place would be that bar it's the last of the nicetown bars in that area off of hunting Park and 15th Street and Corey the chef comes on at 4:00 and the kitchen is usually closing by 7:00 because there's nothing left he cooks everything wonderful on that menu.“
