“Usually while staying in AC we will stay at a different hotel- but we tried Lascalas one night being that it is a local to us name. I will come back to Lascalas fire in AC as we have multiple times and now more in the future. The reason being the amazing service we got at the fun and welcoming bar that we wanted to enjoy football at. During our meal- which was amazing- Ana -our bartender was absolutely the reason while we will keep coming back. Ana took the time to make recommendations, make the best drinks and managed a busy bar without any help other than her team mate Chris the bar back. They were an amazing team, so busy but still made sure everyone at the bar felt taken care of! Thank you for the service recommendation and amazing food and drinks!“

“This was my second visit to Ripplewood Whiskey & Craft, and my first time experiencing their happy hour—and it did not disappoint. The menu had a great variety, and I enjoyed both the drinks and the pork bao buns.

A standout “happy accident” was ordering the pretzel rolls with truffle butter… absolutely amazing. That alone is worth coming back for.

The bartenders were attentive and provided great service throughout our visit. We also tried the deviled eggs, which were just okay for me—the mustard base was a bit too strong for my taste.

Overall, Ripplewood is a lovely spot with a relaxed vibe and nice outdoor seating in the back. It’s a great place for drinks, small bites, and a chill evening out.“

It's really noisy and space is tight, and every once in a while I meet someone new for an interesting conversation. And it's just fine with everyone if I roll up with my New Yorker magazine for a quick bite on the way home!“

“We stopped here for lunch on our way somewhere else because of the intriguing name. Boy was that a lucky coincidence. Service was attentive although, to be fair, there were only 4 people dining in.
The food was absolutely fantastic. The cold sesame noodles did not have the gloppy sauce one finds in most places. Instead, the noodles were dressed in sesame oil. Similarly, the roast pork buns were not the overly sweetened pork they use elsewhere. We also got the pumpkin dumplings that were out of this world. Finally we had the General Tsao's Tofu that remarkably remained crispy despite the sauce.“

“This place has really good food. The Time Secret Sauce is really delicious. it kinda reminds me of Big Mac sauce but better tasting. “TCR conshy is one of the premiere cigar lounges in the area. Others don't have all of the amenities offered here. Excellent drink selection, steady cigar selection with rotating stock, live music on certain nights, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and to top it all off one of the best smoke ventilation systems around!“

“Took my husband here to celebrate his birthday. I started off with the fried green tomato tower, all the different flavors was like a party in my mouth. Next I had the lemon, dill salmon, I'm not a huge fan of asparagus but that was nicely cooked and tasted good. A nice size homade biscuit and jam. My husband had the smoked mac n cheese, the catfish po boy and spinach. The spinach was nicely seasoned and tasted so fresh. This was our first time here and we will definitely be going back.“

“honestly we almost walked past this place but im so glad we didnt stop. the vibe inside is like nothing else in ambler, really comfortable and chill. i got the burger and it was juicy, came out hot and the fries were crispy just how i like them. my friend had the salmon and she kept saying how fresh it tasted. the person behind the bar was super nice and checked on us a few times. whole meal felt easy and good without being stuffy. definitely coming back next time im in town.“

I enjoyed the pancakes and my friends enjoyed the fried chicken and waffles. The food has been consistently flavorful. I ordered the rice bowl with salmon. The portion size was generous, but the salmon was a bit overcooked. The cocktails are varied and absolutely delicious and clearly made with care. The servers have been friendly and attentive. “I came here for a quiz night and it was a lot of fun. I didn’t win but the fun I had made up for it. The food was good. I tried mozzarella sticks and a cheese burger with fries and that was good as well. My friend had loaded fries and really enjoyed those. It’s a very nice atmosphere.
