“Imagine your best local authentic Mexican restaurant but elevate its atmosphere and execution. The tortillas are literally some of the best I have had, so soft and chewy with dimples of char. The proteins are marinated and grilled, with simple but bold flavors expressed in the lingering colors of the sauces. The Remolacha was the sleeper dish. The paste of nuts under the golden beats were a refreshing new type of dish I'd never seen in this type of cuisine. One caveat, the small room makes it quit loud so be prepared to do a little shouting.“

The nopalitos were so fresh and crunchy. Their vegetarian menu options are phenomenal. The star of the show is somehow the dessert. Like after so many bangers how can they also produce incredible conchas to end the meal??? I was happy crying by the end. Just. 10/10 everything. Must visit“

“This San Diego native gives their California burrito five full stars. It’s almost impossible to find a burrito spot on the east coast that doesn’t just fill with rice and beans, let alone that gets the carne asada right. But Cholula gri got it right. “I stopped into this spot after Joel, the owner, had posted it out on another platform. The street tacos were deliciously messy. There was such a great portion of meat on each taco I was only able to eat 3 of 4. The ability to customize my taco was wonderful! Ask for extra napkins + limes. I will be returning often here for sure. Plus, they cater! And there are even delivery options. Great local, neighborhood spot! 5 out of 5!“

“We came here for the gluten free churros as we have never found any anywhere else, figured this could be a once in a lifetime find. It was happy hour so we had drinks and tacos too! Loved the beef barbacoa toco. This restaurant is 100% gluten free so no chance of cross contamination. Staff is very friendly in this light and airy establishment.“

“I came here on Mother's Day for lunch. Food was fresh and delicious. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. The service was good. At the end of our meal Silvia came out to see how everything went and surprised me with a plate of different kinds of flan dessert for Mother's Day 🥰 Prices were reasonable. Highly recommend this place. Definitely I will return.“

“I totally loved the service from the second I got there somebody came straight to me I didn't have to wait there were a lot of tables I believe it was Quizznos that was going on when I came on Thursday. I sat at the bar the bartender told me to go and click the QR code to download the menu. and I got the freedom tacos which there were 3.. which looked great, hot and crunchy but for some reason it did not have any flavor at all in the beef.. when I asked for sour cream I received the immediately along with the hot sauce. I will definitely come back and give this place another try. I ordered Pinot grigio which I'm glad that they had. This place inside was very nice and the bar table was beautiful art work that I could look at it for a long time.“
