“Love the vibes and the people. Chef sounds like a great person, is passionate, and is interactive. Love the concept of focusing and showcasing local ingredients. So 5/5 for vibes and concept. 3/5 (maybe lower actually) for the food. From a technical perspective, everything was cooked properly, just not super exciting. It was like nice homestyle cooking. Felt like stuff my mom used to make growing up or like a menu that you would have if you got together with friends for a potluck or Friendsgiving. The wine list by the glass was not great. My 50/50 martini was solid.
3 drinks between 2 people along with the tasting menu and 1 $27 add on of rabbit pasta and with tip was around $350 for 2 people. You just expect a little more at that price point. Still a good time and nice to check it out once.“

“Hosted my bridal shower at Kiddo this past weekend and had a wonderful experience. Wyatt and the team could not have been easier to work with. They were so accommodating and managed everything so well. Everyone loved the food (seasonal, great portions, delicious), the cocktails were amazing, and the space is so cute. Highly recommend for events or even just for weekend brunch.“

“We had reservations for 5 people at 730 pm Wednesday May 21 after a graduationpp. Peter was our waiter and made our evening a true celebration. The food was incredible, the service attentive but not intrusive and the atmosphere perfect. We will return to this gem.“

“Went with a friend for a last-minute reservation after another restaurant didn't work out. They got us in despite being quite busy, and the service couldn't have been better. Food was amazing - fresh and sizable enough portions to be filling even for traditional seafood. The heirloom tomato salad was amazing and the small plate sampler was perfect sizing with shrimp, scallops, crab legs and oysters.. Will def go back, and glad to have found such a great new spot!“

“. This place is fantastic. The place is clean and welcoming. We also had our grandson with us. We ordered the chicken sliders for him and they were very accommodating to just make it plain chicken. Between my husband and I we had the dumplings. Fish sliders, lamb lollipops, pork fried rice, chicken fried rice. Portions were good and the flavors of the dishes were great. The husband also ordered a Long Island ice tea. This is one of his favorites and they did not disappoint. For dessert we had the apple cinnamon cake. If they would have served it warm I would have died and gone to heaven. It reminded me of my mom’s apple cake she used to make.

“We loved the cocktail (Johnny Two Step bourbon cocktail and a special made blueberry margarita). The cornbread and bone marrow were yummy and the special salmon. Burger and meatball pasta were wonderful. Our server (Mamadou) was wonderful, gave great recommendations when asked and super helpful. Can't wait to go back and next time I want to try the stuffed pretzel 🥨“

“This charming hidden gem of a restaurant near the Italian market in South Philly is the perfect date night spot. Very intimate, yet relaxed. There's great variety on the menu for all types of appetites and diners, and they have an impressive robust efficiency in the kitchen that serves up dishes at a great pace and quality. Recently went and tried their tasting menu and my entire service was completed in 90 minutes from the moment I walked in to the close of the bill. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“

“Customer service was exceptional. Seating area was a bit small but everyone was so friendly and worked as a team. Honestly the best service I ever had. I went for restaurant week and ordered the shrimp creole. Omg I cleaned my plate and was still salivating over the idea of more when I got home. My partner ordered the crab soup and the salmon. Eyes rolled in the back of his head y’all. Everything was so well and for my first time they left a lasting impression. Would definitely dine here again. I’m just disappointed the shrimp creole isn’t on the regular menu.“

“food was good. service was good. however, don't bother asking for any substitutions....apparently the chef doesn't want you messing with their creations! i asked that my seared tuna come with a side salad instead of risotto & my friend asked for shoestring instead of regular fries with his sandwich. nope! not permitted! seriously??“

“Had dinner at Bar Sera for the first time in 2023-06-16 for a 7pm reservation. We got seated right away, not waiting at all. All our drinks and food came out on time and was absolutely delicious. We had the best server named Rachel. She had many tables but still was amazing, very attentive and would engage in conversation with us as. She made the dining experience so much better than any restaurant I’ve been to in a while. The food overall was amazing. I highly recommend this place. If you can, ask for Rachel, she won’t disappoint.“

“We had a good, not great meal here. For the price (which was considerable) we were definitely expecting a bit more. The cocktails were great and the service great, the food was a bit underwhelming. We went with the tasting menu instead of a la carte and found the dishes good, but not anything particularly special. They were very accommodating with an allergy which was very nice. I'd like to try the bar menu but probably don't need another dining room experience.“

“Third time back. Bestie had the Reidy burger that I recommended and Loved it. She said the fries were the best also...light and not greasy. I had the Shaved Dad... Pure delight. A shout out to our server Jean B! Friendly, professional and didn't hover. Will be back. Can't say enough about the food. Excellent flavors, prepared and presented with love!!!!“
