After the ceremony, on the evening of Sunday, May 18, I wanted to cheer his accomplishments with family and champagne. Jordan quickly set me up with the bottle I'd selected and 9 flutes so we could toast in the hotel library. She refused a tip, instead sharing it with the bartenders. She is definitely one of the assets of this establishment.“

“We hosted the rehearsal dinner for our wedding here in September 2024. We had about 50 people and were able to rent out the entire indoor space. The owner and staff were very welcoming and accommodating with our menu and bar options. Planning with them was a breeze. We were very happy with the food. We actually had a difficult time hitting the minimum at the end of the night! We highly recommend hosting your private party at Chestnut Hill Brewing!“

“Tried the chips and guacamole while waiting for a friend who is getting a surgical procedure done. Everything was super fresh and delicious. I’m picky about guacamole but this was so good! I also got the white cheddar cheese cubes, they were also very good. The salads all look amazing, I wish I had tried one of those as well. I wish more places had one of these vending machines!“

“We love this place. We live in Philly, but just stumbled on it one day. Maybe it’s the owner, but a visit there feels like a special occasion . The appetizer of pita with a variety of dips is incredible, and filling. Next to come are dishes of souvlaki, falafel, lamb brochettes, vegetables, rice and salad. They are known for outstanding baklava (even for those who think they don’t like baklava), AND chocolate mousse. We have brought relatives and friends here from Washington, D.C. and Harrisburg, and all were thrilled .“

“I had dinner at La Sera the other day and was impressed. The appetizers were delicious--we had the calamari, cozze, and mushrooms. All were delicious, but the mushrooms were phenomenal. For entrees, our table had the ribeye, veal ripieno, spaghetti and meatballs, and ravioli rosa. Everyone loved their food.

And I must give a special shout out to Meritan. I realized the next day that I left my hat at the restaurant and I had already left for the airport to return to Florida. I connected with Meritan who I coordinated with to have it shipped to my house.

I ordered lunch for pickup around 12:30 and the 2 guys running the counter yelling out orders were so incredibly efficient. “Excellent beer and food with impeccable service. I ordered a flight including blonde, session ale, West coast IPA, and brown ale. The blonde is light and crispy with a very light sweetness at the end. The session ale has the traditional bitter and hint of malt. This one finishes with what I describe as a dry tobacco finish. The west coast IPA takes me back to the great IPAs of the 2000s. This was such a treat. And the brown ale is perfectly malty. You have to love a good brown.

For food, we had the wontons with a dill sauce, Buffalo cauliflower, and a chicken sandwich. All tasty, well-prepared and quality ingredients. Excellent stop.“
