“I will start with “oh what a night”. All the 5 star ratings are spot on. Our server Jack was a love. He is sincere and patient. Jack answered all our questions regarding food selection and we took his suggestions. We were celebrating our grandson’s 18th birthday and was just the celebration we wanted for him. He actually suggested Joey Chops.He liked what he saw online and we went with it.Lollipop lamp chops had to be the best. Lobster dumplings, burrata, She crab soup and onion soup were starters. Main courseWas Westholme Wagu Teres Major,Wagu NY Strip and seared Tuna steaks. Sides also yummy.Then came desserts, amazing chocolate layer cake. profiteroles, and Crème brûlée were a perfect ending to an amazing dinner. Thank you Jack and Joey Chops. “We were greeted warmly by the hostess. The interior is fresh and elegant. Tables nicely spaced. We arrived at our table to find rose petals sprinkled across the white linen table cloth. Nice touch. Great cocktails - check. Great appetizers - check. I had the lobster taco. Maybe one of the best tacos I've ever had. Excellent entres - check. Great service - check. We were visited a couple of times to make sure we were pleased. Expensive but worth it! Going back for my birthday.“

“Of course the food and service are always tops at Capital Grille. This time we did have a couple of unusual glitches. First we ordered a wine by the glass that was recommended by our waiter. It tasted like it had been opened for several days as it had a bite to it. The wine was replaced but we expected better to begin with from CG. Then with our meal we ordered the hash browns without the caviar. When the meal came, they brought mashed potatoes rather than hash browns. So now they had to prepare the hash browns which took so long we were already finished. Again, CG made good and didn't charge us for the hash browns that we took home, but would have preferred to eat them with our meal. Overall, it was still a top shelf meal and a great service experience. CG just seemed a little off their game this night.“

We went because of the gluten free menu and reviews and it didn't disappoint! Shout out to Brittany! Only minor negative was when we arrived 90% of the restaurant was empty and we were told to sit at the sushi bar because they were expecting a wave of reservations. However by the time we finished our meal the restaurant was 80% empty so we definitely could have sat at a table. The menu has a lot of good options so we will definitely return.“

Only downside is the typical, terrible Phoenixville parking. If you go, will probs have to search for spot, but the food and staff make it worth it. “We had another fabulous dinner at our favorite restaurant – Savona. The lobster cocktail and the house salad were absolutely delicious. The clams and pasta and the Branzino were plated absolutely beautifully and tasted awesome. And that chocolate brownie crunch for dessert was the perfect ending to an outstanding dinner. Kudos to the chef again for an over the top dinner. Our server Olivia was so elegant and she really set the mood for an awesome evening. She was super attentive and so nice and catered to our every request. It was great that John came over and not only delivered our desserts to us but also inquired as to how our evening was going, etc. We missed seeing Papi so a special hello to him. “I CAME for the MORELS and FIDDLEHEADS, STAYED for the SALMON..I'm a sucker for these Spring foraged treats, so this dish caught my eye while I browsed menus for a special dinner; BIG GLORY BAY SALMON fiddleheads, morel mushroom farro, gooseberries, tarvido, maple tarragon mustard It was a beautiful dish. I regret not taking a picture. Gooseberries are awesome. We were celebrating our 28th anniversary and I noted that while making the reservation. It was sweet that everyone there knew and offered good wishes. I didn't plan on reviewing, but the salmon was SO GOOD, I don't think I could eat in anywhere else ever again. Even my fish hating partner approved. He thoroughly enjoyed his well done filet with a side of the PeeWee potatoes. The generous portions left no room for dessert and I took home the remains of my dish. We're old and like an early dinner on Saturday. So this 4pm reservation was perfect for us. Yes the tables are small. It's an old stone building, but we practically had the place to our selves at this early hour.“

“So. It's been quite awhile since my family and I have been to Anthony's in Malvern. I have to say that the more they renovate the worse the restaurant becomes. We took my dad there for his 76th birthday. There were 7 of us altogether. My wife kids and grandson arrived first at 5:15. It was not crowded-there were many tables available for seating. The hostess informed my wife that we could not be seated at a table until all of our guests were in the restaurant. We were a bit confused by this since we had never experienced this before at Anthony's or anywhere else. I told the hostess that my father was a minute out-nonetheless, we could not sit at a table until he arrived. Which was baffling due to the fact that there were at least 10 tables open and no wait. The funny thing is we did not ask to sit down-we were informed that we would not be seated until all guests had arrived. When we spoke to the owner after we bein seated-upon the arrival of our one missing guest-he informed us that this has always been the policy and the main reason is to keep the wait staff from having to come back to the table and explain the specials a second time to the late arrivals or have to take a second drink order. Honestly if my server can't take the time to do that-I will not be able to take the time to figure out what 20% is! After this baffling exchange no specials were explained, we were instructed they were written on the first page of the menu. Which is fine by me if I don't know what something is I'll ask. Now I would have been willing to let all this nonsense slide-we don't get a chance to dine out often-but-and this is the truly disappointing part to all of this. The food was not good. At all. In the past, before the place was remodeled-and they added a bar etc etc the food was magnificent. Our service at this visit was excellent minus the bumpy start but somewhere along the path of expansion and remodeling-the quality and quantity of food has been forgotten. It wasn't just myself who thought this either. There were 7 of us and 5 of our clan were not impressed with the food. Enough so that this will be our last trip to Anthony's of Malvern. It wasn't so much about the whole seating "policy". The facts are -we go out to eat on special occasions. Birthdays, anniversaries, we work hard so we deserve a night out, those types of occasions. I/we want to enjoy the food we order to celebrate those occasions. I ordered the raviolis with two meatballs topped with their pink sauce. The raviolis were overcooked, the meatballs tasted as if they were 1/2 bread crumbs and the pink sauce was bland and unsatisfying. We make the Irish version of pink sauce at home by combining 1/2 jar of Alfredo with a 1/2 jar of marinara. It's not great but it is certainly tastier than what I was served last night. As my wife and kids tell me I've lectured too long! Save yourself the hassle and trade in the Anthony's of Malvern for the Anthony's if Downingtown. In a society that puts so much emphasis on the outside beauty of things, the old adage is true. Beauty is only skin deep. Anthony's of Malvern may look spectacular, something on the inside needs mending. To put it nicely. I've only eaten at Olive Garden once or twice for a reason. It's not truly authentic Italian food. I would spend my money and eat there before sitting-not before all my companions arrive mind you- before dining at Anthony's again. They should be done with the seating policy as well as start a remodel on the quality of the food. As I stated in the beginning of this rant-we've eaten there for decades. We will visit the other Anthony's (Downingtown) when it's time to celebrate Italian style time. In the owner's defense-he did give my father a free piece of tiramisu for his birthday-even though he was late. Thanks“

“Love this place. Ordered for the first time tonight. The young lady who took my order was patient and respectful. I had some special requests. The food came hot and completely correct. The young lady who delivered our food was also respectful and courteous. Great experience. We will definitely be regulars.“

Perfect amount of light mayo, with what seems like a house combination of celery seed and some sparing big pretzel salt crystals…. Just perfect munching overlooking the boardwalk, dunes and ocean in Ocean City boardwalk. And the lobster bisque was excellent. With the jumbo sized option on the classic rolls, there was lobster falling out of the sandwich before we could even pick it up. Just excellent.“

“Jin Ding is really good. The owner is now cooking here, and he’s atop Hong Kong chef. If you haven’t been here for a while, you should try their Christmas special. Ming, the owner head chef out did himself we had roast duck, bean shoots with garlic, and a fish hot bowl. Super good stuff. Really Chinese tasting food. Felt I’m back in Hong Kong.“

Online ordering is easy.Parking: Parking in Phoenixville in general on the weekends is difficult. We usually travel in pairs. The driver drops off sometime to pick up the food and then drive around the block until the person is ready. Not easy, but easier than finding parking.“

Awesome fry on them and just the right amount of sugar. 8.6/10 Pupu Platter for 2: best bang for your buck if you wanna try a bunch of things for a good price. All the chicken and beef teriyaki was tender and flavorful. Wings and fried shrimp were a standout. Egg rolls were decent. Chicken fingers were more like sweet and sour chicken but were decent. Crab Rangoon was decent. The boneless ribs were a little dry but overall not bad. 8.8/10 Egg drop soup: if you like this type of soup, you'll like it! 8.2/10 House special lo mein: pretty good but the meat/veggie ratio to noodle ratio was a little off. Wish it came with more noodles, but it's not a bad thing that they load you up with some good stuff! 8/10 General Tso's all day combo w/ shrimp egg roll & fried rice: best thing (other than maybe the chicken wings) I had here. General tsos had great crisp and spice to it. Fried rice was addictive and flavorful. Shrimp egg roll was ok. 8.4/10 overall. Price was pretty good for everything you get. Service was really quick and friendly. Try it out!“

“I’ve passed this place so many times and finally stopped and I’m glad we did. The food is amazing, the staff is extremely friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing. Everything on the menu looks good and Diana helped suggest what to order. All of the food is extremely flavorful and aromatic. The wood ear mushroom & pepper sauce is very refreshing and is a nice palette cleanser, had some spicy cucumber added to it and it was fantastic. We were also recommended the fried pork belly with leek which has a nice sweet and slightly peppery spice. Lastly the family stew is incredible. It has beef, shrimp, fish, leek, chili, pretty much ever flavor you can imagine with a nice spicy oily broth, one of the most flavorful Chinese dishes I’ve had. We will definitely be coming back, there was not a single thing I could complain about.“
