The cake itself is amazing, but what blows me away the most is the creativity and artistry that goes into designing each cake. I love giving Alixe and her team a vibe and letting them work their magic to see what they come up with. For my son’s 1st birthday the theme was Born to One, a Bruce Springsteen birthday bash (classic 1st bday theme, of course). Alixe and team delivered a tie dyed birthday cake, with Bruce painted on and lyrics all around the side, with a matching vinyl record smash cake. It was a hit! “Sandwich and pretzels were fresh! Pretzels are like the ones we made growing up. Liked the cranberry twist to a choice as well. However, one regular was a bit overcooked. The gal that waited on us was very nice. Great stop! If you’ve never had homemade soft pretzels (not the game day kind) - then it’s a must stop!“

“Stopped in during a conference and was blown away. The barista, Blaze, was incredibly friendly, seriously knew his stuff, and made the best latte art I've personally seen (four different designs in one morning!). The espresso was the best I've had in PA thus far, and the drip coffee was easily on par with my own pourovers at home. Also got a blueberry lavender scones that was as good as they come.

The spot is small, with very little seating, but I honestly found that charming. Maybe I'd have felt differently if I weren't there right at opening!

If I lived in Lancaster, I'd be here daily -- but for my wallets sake, it's probably best I'm so far away!“

“Excellent little bakery. The Macaroons were just the right texture. About $2.50 per cookie. We also got some of the fruit shaped desserts and they were absolutely wonderful. We spent between $7 and $8 per little cake. Not overly sweet, but excellent flavor and a great blend of ingredients (fruit jelly, cream, sponge, white chocolate,etc.) Not things you can find at a typical bakery for sure. Worth the price in my opinion. Will be back when we are back in Lancaster.“
