“I stopped by Brave Bean on North Shore recently and had mixed feelings about the experience. I ordered a chai latte with whole milk, but unfortunately, it was way too strong for my taste. There was so much chai and not enough milk that it threw off the balance—it came out way too spicy and intense to enjoy. The atmosphere wasn’t quite what I expected. It had more of a cafeteria vibe and felt kind of empty—maybe I just came at a quiet time, but I was the only person there. That said, the barista was very kind and friendly, which definitely helped brighten the visit. Also, they have a wide selection of drinks, almost like a smaller, local version of Starbucks—which could be a plus if you’re into variety.“

“First time at this coffee shop, and was greeted very warmly by the staff. Every item was explained and given a wholesome and community reason to purchase. Even the lemon tip game proceeds go to the local library. This is a very nice location for the community with excellent coffee to back it up!“

The Draft wagon from Bloom Brew which is the local craft brewery in West Newton, has four selections to choose from at this location with one choice being a cider. The convenience of this draft wagon along with the Outpost burger place next door is great. No waiting to be seated or a person to serve you. Order at the window and your all set! Opened in 2021, it is becoming a great place to enjoy a beer and chat up with other cyclists and the locals that stop by. All outdoor setting with plenty of shade to enjoy the day and your beverage of choice. The beer tenders are friendly and helpful.“

“I always get takeout but the dine in area is a clean simple pizza shop vibe.
The counter service is so busy and still organized and friendly. The pizza is very different than what you may be use to. Cheese and toppings are piled on cold after the crust and sauce are cooked to a crispy tasty perfection. I like to take a few bites as served and then bake or broil the rest. You gotta love cheese like I do to love this pizza. I personally love the sauce because it's not sweet nor bitter, very flavorful and clearly fresh made. If you think you can eat 4 square pieces, you may want to order 3 or save some for leftovers. If you're still reading, parking is tight but spots open fairly quickly. Just be a bit patient.“

However the meatball pho, the meatballs were a little dense and the broth didn't have that depth of flavor, it was missing roasted ginger, onion and star anise and a few dashes of fish sauce. But it was a good size bowl of noodles. I will most definitely go back to order the papaya salad and try their Tom yum soup or fried rices. The owner seemed very nice.“

Started dinner with one of the best London Fogs I’ve had in a while, thanks to our waitress,Paige, for suggesting it. The food was tasty and the portions were large! Once we had eaten we moved to the back of the restaurant for the event. The owner greeted us and chatted with us telling us about some of the upcoming events. They took over a rather rundown Blue Flame and are turning it into a wonderful family friendly restaurant and event area. Stop in for breakfast or lunch. I’m sure they will have great success! “I had a great experience at the Subway on West Liberty Avenue in Pittsburgh! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. They prepared my order quickly and exactly the way I asked. What really stood out was how neatly and professionally the sandwiches were made everything was fresh, perfectly portioned, and beautifully displayed. You could tell they take pride in their work. It’s not just fast food here it’s quality service with attention to detail. I’ll definitely be back!“

“We were leaving a funeral service in the evening of 9/9/25, and had reservations at Tillies for 20 people. When we showed up they acted like we were a bother. Insanely rude to everyone. The last thing a family should be dealing with at that time. I made a game time decision at that point, I stepped outside and I called Luciano’s around 7pm on a hope and prayer that last second they would be able to accommodate 20 people and told them our situation. Luciano’s was absolutely SO kind. They asked how long until we would be there, I said “20 minutes”. They said “we’ll be ready”. We all got up and left Tillies, and 20 minute later got to Luciano’s. They had tables lined up and ready for our party. Our two servers were so absolutely amazing I wish I could remember their names. But just 2 awesome young ladies. They were so kind to a family that just lost a loved one. The service, the food, the compassion was just out of this world. Everyone was so happy. Thank you guys so much for making a very gloom, and sad day much better for this family. We’ve always liked the food here but now we will be making a point to visit much more often. Thank you so much, again.“
