Beyond that, the venue is amazing. Excellent acoustics, great layout, multiple bars for beverage needs(if that's your thing), as well as a kitchen tucked in the back.“

When we arrived we found out those items weren't available and almost decided to leave. We're so glad we didn't! We chose the quesadillas, the mahi tacos, and the sliders. Everything was so good, especially the quesadillas! The service was excellent and the waitress was so apologetic for the lack of some menu items. Go out and support these ladies that are working through some staffing changes!“

“Where can I begin… the food was delicious! Friendly service and real conversation. My family and I are from Indiana visiting for the weekend and we wanted to try Grandma B’s. Went on Saturday morning and it was so impressive we said “We’re coming back tomorrow before we leave!” Only to return Sunday morning and they had standing room only! Sadly my party and I were just going to head back to Indiana, hungry when they called us back in and said”We’re going to make room for you all up top.” They proceeded to prepare another area upstairs to accommodate our party! “Stumbled upon Albero Verde, when looking for a fine dining restaurant for our Anniversary that wasn't $50-100/ plate and was more accessible than downtown Pittsburgh....Albero Verde, did NOT disappoint. The owner and Chef, Anthony Pupo, introduced himself while delivering a small, unique tasting of a wonton with a twist. This small but mighty restaurant provided top notch service, an intimate dining experience, good music, the option of BYOB, and the FOOD was too die for. The wonderful waitress suggested that we split the Wedge salad, and I appreciated the suggestion as 1 was plenty for 2 people...but when she brought it out, they had plated it on 2 seperate plates for us, taking away the hassle of dividing the dish ourselves at the table. We then had the Octopus and Beans and Greens appetizers.... both delicious. For our main course, we had the Fran and Fudge (named after the Chef's grandparents) a HEALTHY sized bone in porkchop with brie and goat cheese pierogi and the Scallop and Langoustine Spaghetti... both excellent! For dessert we had the Pomegranate Semifreddo, a refreshing frozen yogurt and a mini chocolate cannoli. We will absolutely be back! Thank you, Chef, for a lovely and tasty evening.“

“We had 7 people. Made reservations 2 wks prior. Food was delicious. One person got chicken parm, specifically answered "no" when asked if she wanted noodles. The meal came with noodles under her chicken. Also, there was an issue with their check. Waitress never brought the slip that gets signed from using credit card. She insisted she gave it, didn't understand they needed the part the customer actually signs. Not sure what the issue was but waitress realized she never actually rang it up which is why they didn't get the slip. So those 2, although they did like the food, weren't real happy with the service. Waitress spoke in double time. So fast it was hard to understand what she was saying. Seemed kind of moody so not sure if it was just a bad day for her, or if she's always this way. But the food was delicious!“

“Hands down the best breakfast we have ever had. Seafood omelet and steel city breakfast delicious! Portions are large, had enough to bring some home. Husband had a banana split and said it it one of the best he’s eaten. Our waitress was so nice. Thank you for such an enjoyable experience! We will definitely return when in the area.“

“MY friend and I went there on Saturday to celebrate our birthdays..Our server Adam was simply amazing. He patiently waited for us to decide on our drink order and went as far as to let us try the drink to see if we liked it, which we didn’t but he took it off our bill and then brought us a birthday card and wished us a happy birthday. The food was very delicious. But our main complaint comes down to Adam !! He was so fantastic and such a kind person . They truly have a rare gem in him as an employee! I hope they appreciate him because he is what makes it a truly wonderful experience there. We will definitely go back there and if we are lucky Adam will be our server.!!!“

“I like the 2-2-2 it's a breakfast meal you can get two pancakes or two toast you can get bacon or sausag and eggs it's around $9 it is 8 something but you got to think about tax everybody's so sweet and if you're lucky enough your kid can get a fruit snack and the cheeseburgers but the only bad thing is is tax and you have to pay for water but other than that it's pretty good if you go there every day they always remember you and it would be nice if they add kids meal

I used to live here about 8 years ago and moved away for that time period, but as soon as I moved back in 2023, I had to get some of their wings!The wings are just as incredible as before and their flavors are insane! “Went there for the first time on a Saturday for dinner. Nice place with lots of options. Our server who was doubling as cook was super nice and answered all our questions and special requests. I got the Cranberry Poppins salad. It was fresh, delicious and very large. The rest of my party had the fish sandwich, the chicken tenders and fries and the Alcove Burger. Everyone liked their food.
