“We had the best experience last night! We had just arrived in the city frazzled after getting lost on the way to our VRBO. We stopped for dinner with 9 of us (6 of them being boys under the age of 10). They got us in promptly, got our kids set up with drinks, and adults started drinks from the bar which were much needed after our 5 hour drive haha. Our server was quick, the food was amazing and we met so many amazing people in our short time there. Everyone was super friendly and didn’t even seem to mind our rowdy crew! Thank you for a great experience, 10/10 recommend!!!“

“We had an excellent dinner at Monterey Bay last evening. I had the Branzino which was filleted and cooked perfectly. My wife had the seafood trio which was a starter for her entree. It included some tuna, salmon, shrimp and a delicious crab cake. We also split the Mediterranean salad which was very fresh. John was our waiter and was very knowledgeable and attentive. I am convinced Monterey Bay is the best seafood restaurant in Pittsburgh after dinning there several times and enjoying the magnificent view.“

“I visited acacia for the first time and really loved their cocktails. I was afraid that without reservations, the wait would be too long. But even on a Saturday evening in Southside, we easily got a table at 8:30pm. I got The Architect which was spicy and refreshing. The service is amazing and they will make any drink off the menu as well. I asked for a Mai Tai and got the best one I've ever had. Definitely recommend this bar to go to with friends. The ambience is also easy-going and chill for catching up with friends or relaxing after a long day.“
“A big thank you to Kevin for providing the perfect venue for my husband’s surprise birthday party. Kevin is great to work with when planning an event. We were able to decorate and bring in outside caterers. Along with the selection of local beers on tap and fabulous wine, Kevin made a special barrel aged cocktail just for the occasion.“

“Absolutely fantastic. The red cabbage aoup with dill and sour creme was spectacular. The fire roasted chicken was absolutely fantastic. An explosion of flavors not seen around this area. The food presentation is fenomenal and elegant. Food temperature and moist is perfect and after taste of the entire experience lingers for a good while. The selection of wines an cocktails go along oerfectly with the Entrees.Nice selections of spanish wines.. Desserts are rich and warm. The Pear Almond Tart was perfectly cooked and warmed. The baked Alaska with the oven toasted merengue reveals a nice vanilla icecream in its core. Highly recommended.. Make sure to stop by and say Hi to owner and Chef Eric. Wonderful experience. On a scale of 1 to 10, .i'lll rate this a 20. Hands down the best in the area. 5 stars Haute Cuisine.“

“Love Hidden Harbor! Been multiple times over a couple of visits (live out of state) and the team always delivers! Food is so good and Tiki drinks are the best! Had recently traveled to Hawaii and sipped a few Mai Tai. Could not wait to have the bartenders at Hidden Harbor make a couple for me. The rum Old Fashioned was good too! Love the burgers, fish tacos and calamari“

“Friendly bar staffFun drinksGood foodFun vibeGot the pierogi, which comes deep fried with the most incredible onion jam. The pierogi tasted like Mrs T's from the frozen section but that jam did laps around the restaurant. It was incredible. My friend got the pink drink which tasted like pink and white animal cookies.A fun place to stop on a stumble down Carson.“
“I recently visited Four Points Brewing and was thoroughly impressed! This hidden gem in Pittsburgh is a haven for craft beer lovers. From the moment I walked in, the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff made the experience delightful. They have an impressive selection of beers, with each offering its own unique and rich flavors that cater to both aficionados and those new to the craft beer scene. The brewery’s space is both cozy and trendy, perfect for a casual hangout with friends or a relaxing solo visit. What stood out to me was their commitment to quality and the passion for brewing that was evident in each pint. Four Points doesn’t just serve beer; they curate an experience that celebrates the craft. The location at 919 Western Avenue is convenient, and their digital presence, reflected in their sleek website, makes it easy to stay updated on their latest creations and events. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, I highly recommend stopping by Four Points Brewing for a pint of their finest.“

“Went to a show last night and it was amazing! Staff was polite and efficient. Bartender was cute! The intimacy of the theater is very nice since I don't like bigger crowded places. Love love love. The ONLY thing is that if you go into the women's restroom BEWARE OF THE HEAVY DOORS. The stalls have doors made of metal and if you are not careful they will slam and it was really loud LOL“

“Very Nice place! Atmosphere was friendly and inviting with Great service! The food was Excellent and delivered quickly and piping hot. Everything our party of four ordered was delicious! The burger was juicy and grilled to perfection. The loaded fries had a remarkable homemade cheese sauce and fresh cooked bacon. The boneless chicken chunks were very fresh with mouth watering sauces of honey barbecue and Tai Sweet Chili. My husband said the Cajun Chicken Mac was the best he has ever had. We live in Ohio and found Nox's on the "googler" after visiting the training camp. We will surely be stopping here everytime we come to town!“

“Ask for Randy or Kelly! The best bar tenders in the joint! The food is incredible. Not a huge menu and everything in it is wonderful! Cheap drinks and a great draft list that changes regularly. It's a small joint, so get there early if you want a table for 3 or more.My wing recommendations:Eric Jr - super spicy traditional buffalo tasteSpicy garlic ParmesanGolden BoyNot at all wheelchair accessible!Kid-friendliness: Before 7 kids are very welcome! “We wanted to get close to the sound of Pittsburgh Rock and Roll and picked Moondogs and the Neil's Hotel Band. On a Saturday night. We weren't disappointed. The Iron City Lites were IC cold and the band was red hot. My wife and I had a great evening and my 20 something daughter and her boyfriend danced the night away. Highly recommend.“

“I visited Bar Botanico roughly 1 month ago. I entered the building and almost turned around out the door because it looked crowded. The host politely shouted out "we have room for two" so my partner and I returned back. He let us know he could get our drink order while we waited for a two top table to clear which he assured us would happen soon. My partner has severe peanut, tree nut and shellfish food allergies and the host asked us immediately about our allergies. While my partner got beer (allergy comfort zone), they ensured my drinks were made in a separate shaker and let him know that he could try them if he wanted since they made them separate and left out any allergens. This was a lovely place for someone with allergies and it was really unexpected and wonderful. I will definitely be back. Oh I forgot to add the drinks were delicious, I enjoyed watching the bartenders work. We did not eat here so I can't speak to the food but very happy with everything else we experienced.Dietary restrictions: Very allergy friendly/accommodating.“

“After being invited many times, I finally got out with some friends to try the Elks Pittsburgh famous Friday lenten fish fry. And overall, it definitely lived up to the hype. For $17, you get a huge fish sandwich and two generous sides. I went with Mac and Cheese and fries, and it was definitely a comfort food experience. The bar has very fair prices, and the staff run what is inherently a chaotic situation extremely well. Just get their early, or be ready to wait in line. Definitely worth a trip.“

“Super awesome staff! I when during a rush and this super nice older lady was staffing the whole place. Despite all the customers she kept the drinking coming fast! Food is also pretty decent, it’s a very small limited menu but they have some good sandwiches. I would definitely recommend stopping in for a quick drink or something to munch on.“

“I stopped in last night, there were two young ladies behind the bar that didn't acknowledge my presence. But when I came in there was a young man sweeping the floor because it was almost closing time and he put the broom down and came behind the bar to wait on me. He's the superstar in this story! Even after he got my drink, the young ladies behind the bar never made eye contact with me. Hard to believe you can go to a place in East Liberty and be treated as if you are invisible.“
