Food was great, ambience was chill and lively at the same time, but the service is what really stood out! I sat at the bar, and my bartenders were Monae and Aliyah (spell check), they were so friendly, knowledgeable and attentive! “This was my second visit to Ripplewood Whiskey & Craft, and my first time experiencing their happy hour—and it did not disappoint. The menu had a great variety, and I enjoyed both the drinks and the pork bao buns.

A standout “happy accident” was ordering the pretzel rolls with truffle butter… absolutely amazing. That alone is worth coming back for.

The bartenders were attentive and provided great service throughout our visit. We also tried the deviled eggs, which were just okay for me—the mustard base was a bit too strong for my taste.

Overall, Ripplewood is a lovely spot with a relaxed vibe and nice outdoor seating in the back. It’s a great place for drinks, small bites, and a chill evening out.“

“For being a bar, it was actually pretty nice for sitting down to eat. The waitress was super friendly and the food was surprisingly good. I got the nachos and and buffalo chicken cheese steak. I'd go there again, especially if I was in the mood to drink too because they had a solid beer selection with a few nicer craft options. I also saw they had a good selection of beer to go which is a bonus.“

“Daly’s has 3 Diamond 7’ pool tables in the bar area, which is a huge plus. My team played in an APA tournament there last weekend and the tables play great. The service was excellent. The prices are right. The food is bar food. I’d go back and hang out in a Friday night for pool and beer. Also, pretty solid beer selection.“

The menu gave a lot of options for all of us, the service was outstanding, and we were not rushed. “I come here fairly regularly with my running group. This a great neighborhood bar, the owner is awesome and super friendly. The food is also better than you'd expect for a dive bar, but it still has the dive bar charm. This is easily my favorite bar up the hill in Manayunk“

Bartenders need to learn how to work the remote for the music , It is Bose system that you can adjust for each end of the bar and the right channel is off along with the bass . lol I always listen to music when I am there .“

“Castle Roxx is the spot where I randomly stumbled upon in my young 20s and I “remember” having a great night, but I recently went back during a bar crawl last Oct ‘25.

It’s just fun! There’s a spin the wheel, I ended up with a blowup pony, and more recently just had a good time. Worth it to go in a grab a drink or shot, then continue on with wherever the night goes!“

“This the definition of a dive bar. I went there after my 21st birthday and the beer was very cheap two dollars for a Coors light on tap. The bartender woman was super friendly and very helpful. The only thing I don't like is that they allow smoking inside which is great if your a smoker or don't mind the smell and smoke of tobacco in the air. I can't stand having someone two seats away from me smoking his cigarette or cigars or whatever type of tobacco they are smoking and having to breathe in all that tobacco smoke that is in the air while drinking my beer is very unpleasant for me. I honestly like drinking my beers at home. I definitely do have a crush on the bartender. I honestly might just go back to enjoy a cheap beer and talk with the bartender again.“

“A friend and I went to The Greeks to watch the Phillies game and one of the worker that was behind the bar were being RUDE to us. We were sitting at the bar and (not even) 4 minutes into the game. He come to us and said; if you guys going to sit here, you have to order, than he added, I’m being serious. My friend and I both know that, but he DID NOT have to be rude about it by adding “I’m serious” at the end of that statement. Before the game even started, I told the other worker that was behind the bar that I would order a few minutes into the game.“

Michele the waitress was great, polite and professional, my service was perfect, my prime rib dinner was fabulous, so was the crab cakes, salad, mash tasters, and french onion soup. “Food was hot, fresh and flavorful. Pasta was cooked to perfection without being over cooked. Portions were adequate. Dessert were fresh and satisfying. We enjoyed the Rigatoni Bolognese and a shrimp/seafood with pistachio cream sauce. Waitress was attentive. Only suggestion for improvement is to better train the bus staff to not ask to remove someone's plate while they are still eating. This is a very simple principle. We will likely return to try more dishes. Nice find!“

“Pitchers is a spot I go strictly for shots in between bar hopping around Manayunk. I used to stay to grab 1-2 drinks since it’s usually me and my girlfriends. We came to a conclusion that it’s fun for a shot or two, but then to carry on since it’s more of a sports bar (nothing wrong with that!)

There are regulars and college students that go here which is cool. It’s a diverse group, but I’ve noticed more guys drink here.

The bartenders are quick and friendly, even when the bar is packed with people, they always seem to spot me grabbing their attention.

Drinks are cheap/inexpensive as compared to center city. I went in there and got two tequila sodas, only $12 for the two. I think when I ordered shots it only came out to around $25 for 4, but I’m not sure.

We were too late to order food but behind the bar and bar top seemed pretty clean. The booths near front entrance also looked recently re done. Even though we are not from the area- the regulars were welcoming.“
