“I'm so late with this review, I know this, but I had to let you know what a wonderful job you all did on Superbowl Sunday. Food was great, ambience was chill and lively at the same time, but the service is what really stood out! I sat at the bar, and my bartenders were Monae and Aliyah (spell check), they were so friendly, knowledgeable and attentive! That's not always easy to come by in bar/restaurants these days, but those ladies nailed it! Thank you for a wonderful time!“

“My second time at the establishment and it was just as excellent as my first. For me, hands down the best Manhattan in Philadelphia. And it was as good as my first.

I only ate French fries at my first visit having brunched earlier in Manayunk and they also were just as delicious. The Taphouse bacon burger was divine. Just the best mix of crispy edges, gooey cheese, fresh & delicious tomatoes (rare for January in the NE! ) and possibly a common , happy problem to have, SO much food. I enjoyed every bite & sip & our server for a fair sized group of more than 15 was friendly, efficient and very well organized.“

“I use to play pool when I was younger. It was great times. Since they took the tables out im only in there 2x a year. Service still good, Greg the bar tender is awsome, food is bar food and nothing really omg special but plentiful and good prices. Ross plumbing had there Christmas party there, had a good time. “I was super excited for this place, came for my husband’s birthday and after dinner my expectations weren’t met. We tried two of their daily specials, the smash burger was amazing!! We also got their prime rib sandwich and this was a miss. The price was a lot for being basically an overdone dry steak sandwich. The real kicker of the night was the service. We had Matt N. and he was not attentive and made us feel like we inconvenienced him. Honestly I will still recommend this place to my friends and family, but wish the service was just better for a special occasion.“

“Daly’s has 3 Diamond 7’ pool tables in the bar area, which is a huge plus. My team played in an APA tournament there last weekend and the tables play great. The service was excellent. The prices are right. The food is bar food. I’d go back and hang out in a Friday night for pool and beer. Also, pretty solid beer selection.“

“Castle Roxx is my go to stop. Every time I come I have a great experience. All of the bar tenders always are amazing and work so hard to make my experience the best in Manayunk. Eric and Vinny are two of my favorite bar tenders. They make even the slowest nights the most fun. I normally come during the week, as opposed to the weekends, and I never regret it.“

“I come here fairly regularly with my running group. This a great neighborhood bar, the owner is awesome and super friendly. The food is also better than you'd expect for a dive bar, but it still has the dive bar charm. This is easily my favorite bar up the hill in Manayunk“

“good spot to eat in the backroom which hardly anyone knows about LKim is great good food . Bartenders need to learn how to work the remote for the music , It is Bose system that you can adjust for each end of the bar and the right channel is off along with the bass . lol I always listen to music when I am there .“

The vibe here is super chill — great for grabbing a drink after work or spending a weekend night out with friends. They’ve got games outside AND inside which makes it even better when the weather’s nice. It’s so fun to just hang out, play a few rounds, and enjoy the atmosphere.

“I’m from California live in Washington state now flew out there for a game. Was told about this place went with some friends and had a ball. I loved the atmosphere the music the vibe it’s like in the movies had never experienced a bar like this one. Would go back if I visit Philly again.“

“This the definition of a dive bar. I went there after my 21st birthday and the beer was very cheap two dollars for a Coors light on tap. The bartender woman was super friendly and very helpful. The only thing I don't like is that they allow smoking inside which is great if your a smoker or don't mind the smell and smoke of tobacco in the air. I can't stand having someone two seats away from me smoking his cigarette or cigars or whatever type of tobacco they are smoking and having to breathe in all that tobacco smoke that is in the air while drinking my beer is very unpleasant for me. I honestly like drinking my beers at home. I definitely do have a crush on the bartender. I honestly might just go back to enjoy a cheap beer and talk with the bartender again.“

“A friend and I went to The Greeks to watch the Phillies game and one of the worker that was behind the bar were being RUDE to us. We were sitting at the bar and (not even) 4 minutes into the game. He come to us and said; if you guys going to sit here, you have to order, than he added, I’m being serious. My friend and I both know that, but he DID NOT have to be rude about it by adding “I’m serious” at the end of that statement. Before the game even started, I told the other worker that was behind the bar that I would order a few minutes into the game.“

“We showed up today a Steppys very skeptical because of name change. But all was good old Steppys. Michele the waitress was great, polite and professional, my service was perfect, my prime rib dinner was fabulous, so was the crab cakes, salad, mash tasters, and french onion soup. “If you are looking for a local divey bar this is it. Bartender was pleasant. There was a dart game in progress on the night we came. We were too late to order food but behind the bar and bar top seemed pretty clean. The booths near front entrance also looked recently re done. Even though we are not from the area- the regulars were welcoming.“

He nailed it- made his own bread - hard seeded and the steak and cheese and onions were great
He said only 5% can eat the whole thing - we agreed- leftover for lunch
The fries were crinkle fries and were also awesome
