“I had an amazing meal at this restaurant! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. We started off with the ribeye pinwheels appetizer, and they were a real treat—perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. For the main course, I went with the ribeye with mashed potatoes, and it was fantastic. The steak was so tender and juicy, and the mashed potatoes were creamy and flavorful, a great match for the ribeye. My friend had the filet mignon with a house salad, and it was cooked perfectly too. The filet was so tender and full of flavor, and the salad was fresh and crisp.

Everything came out just as we hoped—cooked to perfection and full of flavor. It was a great dining experience, and I can’t wait to come back and try more dishes from the menu!“

“My Sister and I were promptly and warmly greeted and seated by the Hostess. Our server Karen and her trainee, Medina were absolutely wonderful. Their outstanding customer service, courtesy and professionalism was very rewarding which made an excellent dining experience for us. Presentation is everything. Needless-to-say, our meal was absolutely delicious and plentiful. Restaurant Manager, Samuel graciously made it a point to stop by to welcome us and expressed his appreciation of our visit. “Hidden gem in Philly for a private party! This was our second family celebration at Ruth’s Chris in two years. It was another home run. First of all, the food is absolutely superb. Most of our party got either the filet mignons or the ribeye steaks and they raved about the quality of the meat and how perfectly everything was cooked. I ordered the grilled salmon and it was also perfection, coming out exactly as I had ordered it. I can’t forget to mention our sides. We got the grilled broccoli and the garlic mashed potatoes and needless to say there wasn’t much left. We have never had better mashed potatoes lol! One of the most important parts of the evening was the trusted and consistently superb service that we have gotten. We actually were fortunate enough to have the same server as we had at our last party, Jim, who is not only a professional and excellent server, but he also made our party so much more fun. By the time we left, he felt like a member of the family. His assistant, Mossy, was also amazing! He was always there when we needed something, engaged us and also made the party so much more fun. We wanted to adopt him too! Both men knew their way around the menu for drink or food advice!
The restaurant seemed fairly busy with hotel guests, but I do believe that Philadelphians are missing out on this absolute gem of a place, especially if you have a special celebration. We celebrated my dad‘s birthday there last year, and the table had been thoughtfully decorated by the lovely staff at Ruth’s Chris. They did the same thing last night as well, decorating the table with graduation themed favors and had placed a personalized menu at each place. A candle in the dessert of the graduate. Wow. Where else can you get that kind of detail without even asking for it?? The restaurant manager popped in to check on us during our meal to make sure that everything was going perfectly. That is another indication of how important the excellence of the service and dining experience is to management at this restaurant.
The next time you’re thinking about having a private party, I would highly recommend going to Ruth’s Chris! We actually plan to go there just for a dinner again because the food was so excellent. But we will never forget how Ruth’s Chris made our entire graduation celebration even more special.“

“Everything was delicious! Didn't cost much to upgrade side salad to Signature strawberry pecan - full of other fruits too. Salmon was crisp on the outside and so tender on the inside. Husband loved the filet. Even the bread was warm and tasty. And not to be outdone by the competition, they had a great "Texas Tonion" which was similar to a "bloomin' onion" and just as good. Prices were so reasonable, too, even in this era of inflation. Highly recommend!“

“Longhorn’s on City Avenue is always crowded. Last time I was there…late night…the people looked liked Walmart people…I saw Daisy dukes…a young boy with a button down shirt open like he was Don Juan and weird looking people with triple stomachs in tight clothing who didn’t own a mirror. The food was good…service eh…they seemed really busy…I will opt for an earlier time..this isn’t Steak48 for sure…but the bill will be one third of it.“
