“We were blessed to find Coda Rouge this past Monday. Every aspect of our experience there was so welcoming. The building has such a rich history to it as documented by the magnificent mural on the side of the building. All rooms are filled with beautiful work of local artists. The staff and the food are both wonderful. The Mother and Father of the owner/chef shared the history and stories behind the building and the menu. We were gifted delicious mimosas and our food was so tasty and well prepared. We live in NYC and come through Harrisburg at least once a year. We definitely will be back to Coda Rouge.”

Dishes, in ample portions, are served "family style" at the center of the table on a glass "Lazy Susan". No need to pick up and pass, just turn. and add to your plate. Front of house Service is very attentive and always at the ready. Very friendly and will explain the cuisine. We were a party of 7 and each one of us enjoyed our meal and experience. this place is a gem. Poultry, Fish, Pork, and vegan options are available. Exotic fare is also on the menu. Mario is the waiter you want he is phenomenal he’s been there 21 years and the service he gives is impeccable. The food is amazing every course is amazing. We always get oysters Rockefeller and lollipop lamb chops as our first course you won’t be disappointed! Any other veal entrées are amazing! Cocktails top shelf! We’ve been there many times and we’ve never been disappointed don’t miss out on this treasure!!”

“It's really close to Danville medical center. This is our McDonald's of choice when we're visiting Danville medical center. The staff are very friendly and very helpful, but also today I learned they're very forgetful at 3:00. In the afternoon they forgot my $4 medium fries over my would have been cheaper choice of $3.29 fry a small but before I left the door I checked my bag and realized everything was in there except for the fries. Got out to my car. Started to eat my Big Mac. I like it. Well done. I don't like it blackened and burnt but the more I order these well done. The more awk it feels like they're like okay. He wants it burn it. No I don't want to burn. I don't want it tan. I want it well done. McDonald's please get it together too. It's not just stand around McDonald's. It's clean up in Penn State territory. You need to solve it. We don't want burnt Burger we only want well done burger! After I stood at the counter and waited for 5 minutes, they finally got the attention of me and said oh, what did we miss your French file? Let me guess it was your french fries. Yes, you missed my medium french fries. It cost $4. Yes you did all right. Hold on a second and she acted like she was running over to the fry thing. The fryer I thought. Oh well, at least they're going to be fresh fries. The young man looked at me. Funny. Looked at the floor. Looked at the manager looked at the floor. Looked at me. It was like. Yep. Here's your fries. I got out to the car. The fries were cold and hard. Not only did they forget them they gave me old fries cold and hard. I don't know other times I've stopped here over the last 20 years. Service was great. I don't know what changed. Just my honest opinions this time in 2026”

Thankfully, I discovered Sweet Cordelia’s on my drive home one day. Erica was very nice, responsive, and easy to work with. We literally planned a weekend in Harrisburg based on Papa Joe’s. As someone who loves Metal music, I am beyond grateful for everything that Lovedraft's has done for the Metal community in the area. I seriously never would have imagined seeing any of the bands so close to home that I have been able to see at Lovedraft's. It took about 30 minutes just to get one plate of sashimi. Our 2nd sushi roll took about 10 more minutes to come out and then by the time the 3rd roll was ready, our waiter was outside smoking and it just sat there until he finished his smoke break. We were given one napkin and had to ask for chopsticks. To say we were disappointed is an understatement.”

“I recently stopped by Wake & Bake Cafe and had such a good experience. I ordered the cinnamon spiced latte and a chocolate chip cookie, and both were done really well. The latte had the perfect balance just the right amount of cinnamon, enough sweetness without being overpowering, and the foam on top was especially smooth and well-crafted. You can tell care went into it. The chocolate chip cookie was soft and warm, especially in the center, with that slight saltiness that really brings out the flavor. It’s one of those simple items that’s easy to overlook, but this one stood out. The atmosphere is a big part of what makes this place memorable. It has a creative, artsy feel with subtle 90s nostalgia things like vintage cameras and decor that give it personality without feeling overdone. One thing I appreciated right away was the bathroom location it’s right at the front when you walk in, which is super convenient. Location-wise, it’s right across from the State Capitol, making it easy to find. There’s street parking, but it was still convenient and didn’t take away from the experience.
