“It is rare for a brewpub to have vegan food, and I echo what others here have said about the quality and options. Owners are vegan and seemingly intend this to be sort of a vegan place with meat options without making it obvious, lol. Most pizzas can be made vegan, and the mushroom one comes drizzled with a black garlic aioli made with vegan mayo (I asked). Their flagship West Coast IPA is to die for. And the roasted broccoli appetizer was divine. Definitely a place to return to many times. The building is a former horse stable attached to a market, and we mistakenly went into the market first, but the pub is actually between the hotel and the market. Plenty of outside seating, not so much inside, so make a reservation. We went for lunch when it was not as busy. Very friendly cool staff. And Owowcow is far and away my favorite. The ice cream is rich and creamy. And they have some of the best, most inventive flavors. I've been obsessed with Tea & Biscuits (Earl Gray ice cream with lavender and lemon shortbread crumbled in it... a flavor they have only in April). I loved it so much, I bought 7 pints.“
