“I have lived in Havertown my whole life, and I had never been here before. I’m so glad I finally gave it a try. I tend to get the chicken salad when I eat out, and I would rate their chicken salad sandwich a 9+ out of 10! Great flavor and consistency plus the sandwich was packed and overflowing, without being messy. I had to take half home with me. One of the best I’ve ever had! The service was very good, the interior was clean and bright, and prices were on par with most other places. I will definitely be going here again instead of Nudy’s to try some of their other lunch and breakfast items.“

“Today I stopped at The Hungry A. I have driven buy there many times. As I walked in the owners and people in there all greeted me like they know me. I had a coffee and it was one of the best I ever had. The breakfast sandwich was delicious. I will be be back. But what really got to me I walk with a cane and one of the girls there saw I was having a hard time she came around the counter and took what I was carrying and helped me to my car. Today there are not many people that are kind as she was. It made me know that there is still kind people in this world. If every would take the time to be kind to someone just once maybe it could be a start to make this world just a little better“

“This is a relatively new brunch place in South Philly. Well it says brunch place but it is definitely good for lunch and dinner as well.

I'm getting the same vibe as brunch places back in Indonesia here.

I ordered Nasi Uduk and Kopi Gula Aren. Both stays true to the authentic recipe and portion is generous.

“First Watch is one of our go-to places for breakfast. The food is usually five star. I had the traditional breakfast eggs scrambled, bacon, potatoes, and toast. The eggs were a bit tasteless it seemed because they used little or no salt. The potatos were salted and tasted fine. The bread was also a little bland since I ordered it without the usual heaps of butter. I'm a tea drinker and the selection is variable. This time there was enough non-earl grey and herbal tea to have two full cups of English breakfast. The tea situation is always dicey, often only decaf black and herbal with one Earl Grey. It would also be great if they ditched the stevia for either one or both of the chemical sweeteners, yellow or pink would do.

It's still a good breakfast place, just could be better with a little more salt and better sweetener options.“

“I can not recommend this restaurant enough. I work super late nights.Tbh knowing I can order this food when I get off has gotten me through several shifts. The food is extremely consistent and amazing everytime. You’re missing out if you don’t eat here“

The food, simply amazing! I like grits, but often they're either too runny or too thick...finding those perfect goldilock grits is difficult... Train stops grits are just right! What a great breakfast place! I got the pumpkin cake French toast which was a unique offering that was delicious. And the corned beef hash was a great side (especially for this Texan trying it for the first time). I’d gladly come back and try more of their unique offerings!“

The second I walked in, I was impressed. The hostess greeted me immediately and with a smile. I asked if I should order now and she smiled and explained that she'd take my order and she'll bring it to me. It was very pleasant. The store itself is clean and bright. Unless you ask for sides of jelly you get charged for jelly too, cups of water if in a Togo cup..any way they can make another 10cents they will. They have decent food though and Everything is fresh annnd They do do a lot of business, So to me that speaks for itself. 15-20 per a person that's a platter.“
