When I walked in for my takeout I was overwhelmed by there selection of traditional & out of the box slices they offered that almost wished I came in for Pizza but that cheesesteak didn't dissapoint. “They have an intercom which is clear to let people know who have never been which window to go to and also tell people when their orders are ready. “I had family in from Connecticut. Our plan was to do DiLasandro's but...you can't eat inside and it's a 45 minute wait. We went across the street to Chuby's. We were not disappointed! The cheesesteaks and chicken cheesesteaks were great! And...the fries...the best I've had in a long time...crispy and delicious! If you insist on DiLasandro's...waiting 45 minutes and then going somewhere to eat it...I understand. “I was on a mission for a chicken cheesesteak and started searching around for lunch spots. The moment I landed on Jim’s, I already knew it was over—I had to go. The staff was super polite and respectful, and they even apologized for the wait (which honestly wasn’t bad at all).
Let me tell you… I barely made it back to my work van before ripping into that chicken cheesesteak. The smell alone almost took me out—and the first bite? Absolute 🔥. Juicy, packed with flavor, and straight-up satisfying.
And yes, I grabbed the banana pudding too… and yeah, it was just as good as you’d hope.

The weight of the excess to be had here is seriously the only detracting factor in this review, a hungrier man than I would easily give this meal five stars with my blessing. The quality of the steak was top notch, I’m just hoping the second half of mine holds up as leftovers. The beef tallow fries were soft but very rich— while not entirely to my taste, the flavor was well complemented by the cooper sharp that accompanied it. Looking forward to my next visit!“

Prices were very reasonable with a lot of food. Customer service is well and people were very friendly. If in Philadelphia, this is a must try.“
