“My wife and I love Lei Lei. I see lots of reviews on here complaining about the food, the pickup window, etc. so I felt compelled to back up my go to Chinese takeout spot in Havertown in a review. The prices are great and we have never had any bad orders. Go to orders include General Tso's (the combo platter with pork fried rice and an egg roll is a great deal), chicken lo mein, and pork dumplings. Always delicious, and always ready in about 15 minutes. The workers are always very polite and appreciative to have your business. Long live Lei Lei!“

“We celebrated our anniversary here and it was by far the best anniversary dinner. the staff was so nice and professional. the staff also went above and beyond with setting up the table(rose petals, a card, and heart confetti) and giving us goodies like champagne, a long stem rose, and even took our picture and printed it out for memories! It came with the smallest bottle of Tobassco and my wife said…thank you!!!🤷🏾 my ladies loved their dishes and it was a nice time at dinner!! Didn’t wait long for a seat which is always a plus! It’s a large space which also has outside seating!! When I got home I sent those shrimp right back to the Bayou which was a good thing…it made room for two apple cider donuts from Linvilla!!! “First the good - the food was excellent. I had the mushroom soup, crab cakes and calamari. \n\nThe crab cake and Calamari was over the top good. In our party of four, everyone was very happy the their selection. \n\nService was good to very good. I think our server was newer. No complaints. \n\nNow the bad - this restaurant was extremely noisey. The tables are very close to each other which didn’t help the noise levels. The four of us at our table had difficulties carrying on a conversation. \n\nNot the place, in my opinion, for a romantic dinner for two. But the food was great.“

“We were in town for the weekend. Came across this place on Saturday night. We enjoyed it very much. The oysters were fresh. My wife really liked the romaine salad. Spaghetti al limone was tasty - the sorrento lemon really comes out. The frutti di mare was really tasty - the chef is not afraid to bring the spice. Service was very attentive. We would visit again if we make it back to Philly.“

“I moved to the neighborhood from Brooklyn recently. One day while walking around, I passed this unassuming place. The only indication that it was open was a chair outside with a bouquet of flowers to pin down a paper menu to the chair. The menu looked divine.

A few days later I walked past, showing my partner that the place almost seemed closed from the outside but was very cute inside. Someone who worked there came out as we were looking and was very kind, asking us if we had reservations yet. We said no but booked immediately.

The first time I visited, I had the sourdough, Marinated Mussels (hakurei turnips, miso, chili oil), Carrot (crab, brown butter), Shrimp (peaches, coppa, toasted marcona almonds), and Gnudi (corn& basil). It was an entirely no-skips meal. The mussels came cold, out of their shell, and the sauce was incredible. The “carrot” was more like a crab cake with coconut, brown butter, and an unidentifiable but delightful citrus. A perfect balance of rich & light. The gnudi seemed simple, but the lightly spicy sauce really pulled all the ingredients together. Finally, the shrimp with peaches really knocked my socks off. Lots of places will make “seasonal” menus but not put the effort into making sure that produce is top notch. The peaches would’ve been delicious on their own, but with the rest of the dish, they really shined.

The second time I went (just a few weeks later) I got the Chicory Salad (anchovy, buttermilk, comte), the Steelhead Trout (sungold tomato, perilla), and a tuna crudo special. I also re-ordered the bread, the carrot with crab, and the gnudi. Everything was just as good as last time, and the new additions were truly worth trying. Something as simple as a chicory salad can be so hit or miss - but WOW!

For dessert we had the cherry brown butter tart with crème fraiche. No complaints at all here.

Now I’ve rambled on plenty about the delicious food, which I will be back for very soon, but I truly haven’t ever been to a place with better service. The workers are extremely attentive and kind. I felt like I’ve known everyone there for a long time.

“Ms. Crab is a hidden gem in Sharon Hill! The food was amazing, super fresh and flavorful. The staff were really friendly and the service was great. The space is small, but it’s been thoughtfully decorated warm lighting, comfortable seating, and nice touches around the dining area give it a cozy yet stylish vibe. You can tell they’ve put care into making the place inviting.“

“Delicious Indian cuisine. I’ve been struggling to find a good Indian restaurant since I moved to the Philly area about 6 months ago, and I mean really struggling. Out of all of the places I’ve tried, Srinagar takes the cake!!! The Chicken Tikka Masala is incredible and is the perfect spice level for a medium. “Over a month ago my daughter and I had lunch at Seasons 52, King of Prussia. I am really careful regarding eating out because I have sensitivities to certain foods which include onions, scallions, shallots, leeks, chives, and garlic. I explained everything to my server. She went above and beyond and consulted with the Chef to make sure there were no mistakes with my order. She did a wonderful thing! David Jacobo, the Executive Chef Partner at Seasons 52 came to my table and discussed what he could do. He prepared a special appetizer of "Flatbread" which was artfully plated and decadent with fresh basil. He also added a special side to replace a dish that was not on my diet. Chef David came to our table several times to question how I was enjoying his specific dishes. I know firsthand about being turned away from a restaurant because they could not accommodate certain dietary requests. A wonderful experience from the start with an attentive waitress and caring Chef. Highly recommend.“
