Drive thru line was wrapped around the building and people were standing around waiting for food inside. It took a long time for one of 3 not-busy front end workers to offer to help me. Still better than McD's.“

“This is the best roots in Pittsburgh. You can tell this location takes the extra step. I get the same item every time- kale pesto Caesar salad. At this location, the kale doesn’t have one stem, all fluffy soft kale, mixed to perfection, the chicken is always perfectly grilled- never any weird chunks. Comparatively the last time I picked up at E Lib I had to ask for dressing on the side because the salad was literally dry and I thought it myself, “uh, McKnight location would never.”“

“I love ordering from honeygrow, but I've had ongoing issues with the rewards system not recognizing my points when I place an order online after logging into my account. During my last visit, I showed an employee what was happening, and she told me I wasn't the only customer experiencing the issue. She tried to help fix it, but the system still wouldn't let me redeem my free drink.
She was incredibly kind, patient, and honored my free drink anyway. She also said she would look into the issue so it could hopefully be resolved.
The staff truly deserve 5 stars. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because of the ongoing issue with the online rewards system—not because of the employees. If the issue gets corrected, I'll gladly come back and update this to a 5-star review.“

“We go to this Melting Pot at least four times a year. Each time is a wonderful experience. Today, however, we were beyond blown away by the best service we've ever had. Hanna was our server and she truly is exceptional! She made everything perfect! The food is always tasty and plentiful. In addition, Amanda, the manager is phenomenal! I still can't figure out how she remembers us each time we come to dine. This is a testament to her customer service skills and professionalism. Thank you Hanna, Amanda, and the entire team who work behind the scenes ensuring a dining experience second to none. See you in April for my birthday.“

“Hemlock House describes itself as serving "irreverent food," and they aren't kidding. I came in expecting a burger, but I stayed for the Frog Legs—the gochujang brown butter buffalo sauce is an absolute game changer. If you are looking for boring bar food, go elsewhere. Here, you have to try the Beef Tartare; the quality of the Snake River Farms beef really shines, and the soy cured yolk adds such a rich texture. For the main event, the Duck Burger is a must-order. The combination of a duck and beef fat patty with luxardo cherries and boursin cheese sounded crazy on paper, but it was incredible. This place is a culinary hidden gem.“

“I got a whole Sicilian Pizza with pepperoni and sausage. I would say the pizza was an 8.5 on a scale of 1 to 10. So, I rate it as tasty. I enjoyed it. I let most of it cool to then put in the freezer, so I can have some quick and easy meals when I'm busy. I usually reheat takeout pizza in either in the oven or I'll use a toaster oven.“

I didn’t realize they are typically closed on Monday, but the person I spoke with was so pleasant and helpful and took our order anyway. They said they are usually there on Mondays to make dough, so they were happy to help us out with the pizzas we needed. Everything was perfect and ready exactly when we asked for it. “Went there for the first time on a Saturday for dinner. Nice place with lots of options. Our server who was doubling as cook was super nice and answered all our questions and special requests. I got the Cranberry Poppins salad. It was fresh, delicious and very large. The rest of my party had the fish sandwich, the chicken tenders and fries and the Alcove Burger. Everyone liked their food. We left just as the band was setting up. Would definitely go back again.“
