“My family and I’ve been here a handful of times. We’ve enjoyed birthdays and time with friends. The food is delicious and tastes like home made Italian cuisine. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, while the service is timely and our servers were always attentive, whether we were outside or indoors. I highly recommend this spot to friends and will be back for another date night/special occasion!“

“I love supporting local businesses and captain's choice is on of my go to spots for beer or a seafood platter. He definitely has great prices on beer. He also sells wine as well as other alcohol drinks and cigarettes. My only complaint is that when you order the fried flounder platter they always give such a tiny amount of fries not even a handful of fries. I wish they would give you more fries with the meal. Also there the only place in the Mayfair area in my knowledge that sells cups of Philadelphia water ice all year around which I absolutely love.“

“Celebrated my son’s 21st Birthday here with about 30 of his friends and family. We had a big section of the deck to ourselves. They had plenty of different options to fit our needs. “No matter what, this is my tried and true fresh fried fish spot!! Their food still hits now as it did in 2010. The only reason I did not give all stars was because I did not get to get a bag of fresh fish to take home and cook. The inside is small and there is standing room only. I hope they bring back the fresh fish. There may be a lot going on outside as well, but I go there for my fish and head straight home to eat. There is street kiosk parking. It's best to call ahead. However, the phone line seems to ring busy now a days.“
