“Paradiso has become our favorite BYOB restaurant. Food and service are always spectacular. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but the inside has been completely remodeled and has the feel of an upscale restaurant.“

“I met Marcello and Kiley the week before and New Hope and they invited us to come and have dinner this weekend. We went on Friday and had the back room basically to ourselves there was 10 of us. The food service was outstanding! Came and spoke with us several times, the chef came out, and said hello, our waitress Heather was absolutely incredible so efficient, and yet so loving! we were spoiled rotten! Everyone took home so much food because the portions were enormous. The prices were totally reasonable. I highly recommend the Sunday sauce unlike any spaghetti dinner I’ve ever had in my life, including my trips to Italy.! Thank you, Heather, Pablo, and especially Marcello!“

“We have come to La Strada many times... This time was by far the worst experience we have ever had. Sadly, the server was a bit overwhelmed I think. He came over to us and then let us sit for about 15 mins before he came back. Glad it is BYOB or else we probably would have been waiting for drinks also. After he finally took our order, which we knew by the sounds of other tables comments, it prob would come out wrong, we finally got our soup and salad and then another waitress that works there came over with the pork chop special to give us... Um, no that is not by any chance close to what we ordered. She walks away. Our server never came over to tell us what happened. About 20 mins or so later, we received our order.... BUT LO and BEHOLD, my husband's dinner which was Pollo Gamberi was missing ALL of the shrimp. This is a staple of this dish. I am really not sure what happened. But he comped our soup, gave us 2 pieces of dessert to take home, even though we said no and I also heard the ppl next to us never got their app. And he comped that. The owner is sadly gonna keep losing money if the server doesn't step up his game. From now on, when we go in , we will ask for the servers we have had and we recognize.“

Our waitress, Sara, was so engaging, accommodating, and just helped make our birthday dinner extra special. We really appreciated all she did for us. The food and service were great.“

With 3 babies in our group was a little hectic at times. Food as usual was delicious. Some ate Pasta, others had cheese steaks. Food always fresh. Tony is was so great seeing you again. “Holy cow, I’ve lived around here my whole life and i cant believe noone has ever told me about this place! So i feel its my job to SCREAM at the top of my lungs about how amazing my experience was. Savannah is so bubbly , friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and specials. I am so impressed with her ability to remember and recite the intricate details of all of the specials. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING. We met the chef and he was just as sweet and as the hostess. This place is a real hidden gem, And im going to do my best to help unhide it!“

“This is the best Italian place around. The vodka sauce is EVERYTHING. I could drink the vodka sauce straight it's that good and flavorful, I have never had anything like it. The people are also the best, they take such good care of you and can personalize anything too including getting the chicken parm with vodka sauce instead of marinara, or adding veggies to a pasta. The Primavera and calamari are also fantastic and they have really great cakes and ice cream. This is my go to spot!“

“We had not been to the Jarrettown on a weekend evening in a very long time. I had forgotten about the live music. The music talent situated in the bar area was terrific. He performed music from the 60s to current melodies. Our busgirl was very polite and pleasant and ensured that we always had water. She even boxed our leftovers for us which was really appreciated. Our entire meal was delicious. The cream of mushroom soup with pancetta was extraordinary. Our entrees-the salmon and the Jarrettown chicken-looked as if they came from a culinary magazine. The beautiful appearances of these two dishes were equally matched by how great that they tasted....out of this world. In addition the entrees arrived at the appropriate temperatures which is really important to us. We capped the meal off with with raisin bread pudding with vanilla ice cream.“

“Is the price worth the taste? $17 cheesesteak with fried onions and American cheese (not standard cooper sharp) as I’m old school, all on a seeded roll. Pound for pound, you are getting some fantastically seasoned steak, and a lot of it!
Listen, people are going to say what their favorite steak shop is, this one is close to my house, but I’d still travel to Dalessandro’s , but this place is pretty much just as, if not better than Dalessandro’s. It’s a pricey sandwich, and I think it comes out to the same amount of 2 Dalessandro’s sandwiches, so there’s that statistical difference.

I ate half, split with my wife, and hulled out the other, then filled a Pyrex 7 cup bowl as seen in the picture, and that’s a lot! I have to say the this place edges out Dalessandro’s because you can sit down and eat at the tables or counter. Dalessandro’s used to have a space to eat inside, but since COVID, have not reopened it which is a shame. I have not had a pizza from this place , but I will.“

All week, we've been cleaning and prepping for Labor Day. So much stress today, and ANDREA made it all melt away! I was looking forward to a chill night and we got the best bartender ever! So much attention to details! So much patience! ... I'm not usually the girl that cleans her plate, but tonight was a totally different story. I left only about ¼ of the main entree, finished the soup, appetizer, and dessert! The whole environment was so freaking great!!!“
