“I’m a displaced New Yorker who’s been living in PA for almost 30 years and I’ll give any pizza place a chance to see if it comes close to a slice from NYC. There’s a handful of places that come close spread out in Philly’s burbs and this is one of them. The sauce has a touch of sweetness, the cheese is just a tad salty, and the crust is just the right thickness. I’ve only ever had fresh pies delivered so I can’t speak to individual slices. But hands down this is the best pizza in the Richboro/Newtown area if a slice of NYC nostalgia is what you consider the perfect slice.“

I think the waiter/waitress staff are assigned to many tables which causes a break down in service. Servers are so busy they can't check back in on their tables, and it took forever to get our check. I think this hurts the restaurants' ability to turn over tables quicker to help cut down on wait times.“

“My wife and I ate dinner here 2 week ago. We arrived early around 4pm. The restaurant was almost empty. It didn't stay that way for long. We were sat immediately and ordered food and drinks within 5 minutes of being seated. Service was a little slow but I believe it was due to our arrival time being before the rush so staff was light. I ordered soup and a salad and my wife ordered pepperoni Pizza. We both ordered Stella Artois as it was on tap. The soup was delicious and tasted fresh. My chicken Caesar salad was really good as well. The wife thoroughly enjoyed her pizza slices. When we were done I will say the restaurant and the take out was getting busy.Someone getting take out parked behind me. They were being lazy and decided to illegally park blocking me in right when I was leaving. I knew it was someone in takeout so I walked back in and said to the 3 people standing there that someone parked behind me and needed to move their car immediately. Now I'm 6'6" 350lbs so I know I come off as a scary individual just by my size so of course the offending person apologized and moved their car. I told them to pull forward and after I moved to park in my spot that way they were parked legally. Definitely not the fault of the restaurant but I will say parking is set up a little weird here so be aware of that.“
“Ok so the cheesesteak is definitely than all other pizza shops. It’s about 11” meat is very juicy and flavorful with lots of melted creamy cheese and the onions were caramelized perfectly. I would absolutely give that steak sandwich a 20 out of 10“
“Great food and superb service. Server (Victoria) was exceptional and made our wedding anniversary dinner special. Ended up staying until close and had beautiful conversation with Victoria and owner, wasn't rushed out at all. Ordered the Arancini, Valona Signature salad, Gnocchi Pomodoro Mozz, and lamp chops. 5 layer cake was incredible, tasty and light. Everything was delish! Have seen a few negative reviews but highly recommend you put those aside and give it a try. You won't be disappointed.“

The only issue was that it took a very long time to be served and to receive our food. It was a Sunday evening, so I do expect to wait, but it was an hour and 10 minutes from us sitting down to receiving our meal. It was also 20 minutes from us sitting down to receiving our drinks. I know these guys are busy because their food is very good, but it’s just a very long time to wait when you go out for dinner.Like I said, I will be back because the food was great and hopefully this was just an off night.“

“We drive down to get their honey mustard chicken pizza all the way from Philly. Their pizzas are delicious and GIGANTIC. Especially their specialty pizzas. We made that mistake and got an entire pizza on Christmas Eve and could not finish it…had left over for days! They are insanely large and loaded with all kinds of delicious ingredients! Their prices are also pretty standard but definitely much cheaper than city prices. Customer for life!!!“
“It's not a typical strip mall restaurant. We decided last minute to go here and were pleasantly surprised. Arrived just after opening and initially felt under dressed, but after the owner greeted us, we quickly forgot our discomfort as we took in the nicely decorated room and tables. The menu has plenty of options, including a list of specials plus a few items he mentioned that weren't listed but may have been because it was the Friday after Valentine's Day. We opted for the Veal Parm. My husband got the Clams Casino appetizer, which he said was the best he's ever had. The salad with house dressing was packed with veggies along with the lettuce, and the house dressing was definitely not from a bottle. My barley soup was flavorful as was everything we had. The large piece of veal was sliced thin, which may have made it not as tender as it could have been, but I still enjoyed it. I really enjoyed the seasoned mixed veggies I chose instead of the pasta. The tiramisu is a cake version but very good. That and the chocolate cake do have a liquor flavor added to them, which is strong but not overpowering to me, but may be for some. We will definitely return to try something new.“
“Tre Fratelli is an Italian BYOB. The food is always outstanding and so is the service. We go there at least once a month with our friends. It can get noisy but that just means everyone is having a great time. There is a "back" room for large parties and we have used that room several times over the past 3-4 years. The prices are very reasonable and there are several different items from which to choose, including pizza, stromboli and calzone. If you're looking for a really good food at really reasonable prices, Tre Fratelli should be on your list of places to go!“

I have been known to spend $40.00 just in tolls to get to my favorite pizza place, so obviously, pizza is very dear to my heart. Pizza Pie 2 is right up there with places I would drive to for some tasty pies.Very nice size portions and excellent, personal service just adds to the experience. I live 100 miles from here. The only thing that would improve my experience would be if they opened another resturaunt around the corner from where I live. “We have dined here many times and have never had a bad meal. They have a very nice menu, with lots of varieties, as well as several specials. We have enjoyed both regular menu items, as well as dinner specials. We also discovered that you can switch up an entree if you prefer -- swap out a pasta/sauce combo for another. Makes it great to customize your food preference. Just be aware that the rooms can get "noisy" as parties are close together (it's an intimate setup) and as you as you are aware of this, no problems. Also be patient as the servers cover a lot of tables and you may need to flag down the busboy for help with getting a beverage refill. It's a BYOB so be aware of that too.“

La Piovra (Italian for "The Octopus") is more than a pizza place; it has delicious Italian dishes. We ordered mussels in the chef's special sauce that's better than the traditional red & white sauces. We had European seabass called "branzino"; the meat had a sweet taste with few bones. Of course, we also ordered a pizza with truffle cheese, which we didn't finish, so we packed it for his kids. For dessert, we had tiramisu. Because we were the ones there that late Thursday evening, we got to speak with the chef and his wife. They're overseeing the restaurant for the owner. They speak Italian fluently and from Albania. I am from Philadelphia (47 years old) and have had many cheesesteaks from all the usual haunts as well as local ones. This was the best cheesesteak I have ever had, hands down. The sauce was good and the mussels tender. Their buttery garlic rolls are addictive! I had the salmon special. A large baked salmon filet with sautéed spinach, garlic and grape tomatoes. The salmon was very moist, tender and not overcooked. My husband had the veal marsala. While he liked it, he said the marsala sauce was bland. It wasn't nearly the best he's ever had. Service was fantastic and the prices very reasonable. Overall a pleasant experience.“
