She was very nice and welcoming.The was nicely prepared. My brother had the Meatly Cheesy Omelette with the Original Buttermilk Pancakes. “Super delicious french toast with hot syrup on the side. We sat at the bar and the service was very efficient. Our food came within 10 minutes of ordering and everything was fresh. Plenty of seating at the bar and a lot of tables/ booths in the dining area.“

Marion and Margaret are the owners and operators of this little neighborhood eatery, a true husband and wife operation, the food is delicious and the service is great. It can get crowded especially on weekends, it a hole in the wall in the heart of Port Richmond and worth it.“

“First time eating at this local restaurant. It's a little small but the waitress move around with ease and are very efficient. We got our table before the rush. There were quite a few diners that knew each other which gave a hometown comfort. The food was delivered hot and delicious. I ordered the daily special of French toast, sausage and coffee. Then added a side of hashbrowns with onions (which I heard were good and they were). My husband ordered a western omelette, grits and rye toast. I was kind enough to share some of my hashbrowns with him. We cleaned our plates and my coffee cup was always full. This all made for a satisfying tummy.Parking: They have a shared parking lot and the side parking is on an incline.Wheelchair accessibility: Not handicap friendly“

“I am a lifelong fan of the Fairlane. Yes it is small (quaint and old fashioned) and you might have to wait for a table. And yes parking is tough. However, the reason for these minor inconviences is that they have GREAT FOOD, GREAT SERVICE and the word has spread so they are BUSY. Try to come at a slightly off time for breakfast and you will not regret it.“

“Parking: The location is "hidden" in an apartment complex. If you follow the gps it will lead you to the complex and if your standing in front of the main entrance, there's a single door towards the left which leads to the resturant. Trust me, it's worth the little adventure.“

“Cute café in a shopping center. I had a turkey sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on an onion bagel. It was a little on the dry side in regards to the sausage, but very savory and filling overall. Coffee was decent; I got an iced latte. Great spot with lots of tables to sit and catch up with a friend over delicious food.“

“I just moved to the area and was looking for some breakfast. This was the only spot open close to me on a Sunday. Wow. But I admit, the food was spot on. I can tell this place most likely boomed before the pandemic but the orders and pickups were still coming in. The sweetheart at the counter when I came in had a very thick accent so I couldn't understand him at first. Other than that my experience and food was great. I'll definitely be back. My daughter also loved the silver dollar pancakes with powdered sugar.“

“We stayed in Brewerytown but found this hidden gem of a family run traditional diner. This is a non tourist spot where locals grab and go in a non stop in and out. Wide menu selection we ate 3 different mornings here because it was cheap, filling, and friendly, one of the few places open early morning is a plus. Family owned and mixed race staff was SO amazing to see! We always left full and happy. First time trying scrapple was just ok, like a fried patty of a dull flavored sausage. Had the 3 meat and egg combo best value. Grits were buttery and great with splashes of hot sauce. Pancakes just like something your mom would make for breakfast. BLT again nothing mind blowingly amazing, but comforting and familiar that takes you back to traditionally good homemade quality with regular ingredients. This would be same price as a Denny's but higher quality in service and quality taste. Come visit this diner is just a great Philly experience.“

“We (2) ate here on a Tuesday morning. We had no wait for a table. The service was very attentive and friendly. We ordered the Peach Cobbler French Toast, the Cinnamon Bun French Toast and a side order of bacon. Our server asked what our crispness preference for the bacon was, which I've never been asked before and it was served exactly as requested. The portions are massive and very flavorful and fresh. It is cash only, which we knew going in. Will definitely be returning to try more.“

“I met 3 friends at Turning Point at 11:00am on a Monday. They offer breakfast and lunch options. They have a special coffee. The hot chocolate is wonderful. Two of my friends had Eggs Benedict which they said was excellent. My other friend and I had sandwiches, chicken salad for me and club for my friend. They were both good. There were side options, which included healthy greens. There is plenty of parking but I had trouble locating the restaurant as the front door is not on the street. Our waiter was efficient and pleasant. I'd go again but prefer the one in Newtown.“

“I recently dined at Sherry's Restaurant with a former student of mine because it was his local favorite. I could see why it's a regular spot for him. Sherry's Restaurant isn't your high fine dining experience but it's very casual, comfortable, and a local spot for the North Philly neighbors. It's a place that I could see myself being a regular on a Saturday morning for a nice cuppa coffee or stack of pancakes. Plus the prices are very affordable even for a mom & pop's diner restaurant, usually in the $ range. The waitress Nanny served my student and I with great customer service and was very friendly and accommodating. The food itself wasn't particularly mind blowing but it was definitely worth the price of the food. I wouldn't mind stopping by Sherry's if I find myself in the North Philly area!“
