“I love this place. I've been there quite a few times. The food is great and consistent. My only, only issue?? They rush you! By that I mean they bring your salad, your appetizers, and your entrees at literally the same time So you end up takin most of your food home. That's good if you don't want to cook the next day, but we like to go out and enjoy our meal unrushed. The server will ask you for appetizers, take the order, then go right into entrees. And if youre not ready, he/she will come back with your beverages and ask again. Slow it down!“

“Hidden gem in Philly for a private party! This was our second family celebration at Ruth’s Chris in two years. It was another home run. First of all, the food is absolutely superb. Most of our party got either the filet mignons or the ribeye steaks and they raved about the quality of the meat and how perfectly everything was cooked. I ordered the grilled salmon and it was also perfection, coming out exactly as I had ordered it. I can’t forget to mention our sides. We got the grilled broccoli and the garlic mashed potatoes and needless to say there wasn’t much left. We have never had better mashed potatoes lol! One of the most important parts of the evening was the trusted and consistently superb service that we have gotten. We actually were fortunate enough to have the same server as we had at our last party, Jim, who is not only a professional and excellent server, but he also made our party so much more fun. By the time we left, he felt like a member of the family. His assistant, Mossy, was also amazing! He was always there when we needed something, engaged us and also made the party so much more fun. We wanted to adopt him too! Both men knew their way around the menu for drink or food advice!
The restaurant seemed fairly busy with hotel guests, but I do believe that Philadelphians are missing out on this absolute gem of a place, especially if you have a special celebration. We celebrated my dad‘s birthday there last year, and the table had been thoughtfully decorated by the lovely staff at Ruth’s Chris. They did the same thing last night as well, decorating the table with graduation themed favors and had placed a personalized menu at each place. A candle in the dessert of the graduate. Wow. Where else can you get that kind of detail without even asking for it?? The restaurant manager popped in to check on us during our meal to make sure that everything was going perfectly. That is another indication of how important the excellence of the service and dining experience is to management at this restaurant.
The next time you’re thinking about having a private party, I would highly recommend going to Ruth’s Chris! We actually plan to go there just for a dinner again because the food was so excellent. But we will never forget how Ruth’s Chris made our entire graduation celebration even more special.“

“Came this past Friday and sat at the bar with my boyfriend. Our first time there and we loved it. I believe our bartender/servers name was John. He was very nice and personable and the drinks were perfect!!! I can’t wait to come back. There are two other things on the menu I can’t wait to try. This time I had the shrimp pasta, boyfriend had steak and potatoes. Looking forward to trying the meatloaf and the sea bass. I really enjoyed it ❤“

“The long wait for a table was understandable as we dined during peak hours (Sunday afternoon.) Christina, our server, was very personable and attentive. The food (salmon) was delicious. The drink (sangria) was also tasty. My salad was served without dressing! Which was actually desired since I prefer dressing on the side. I had to a add k for the dressing. And!, I had to ask for more sauce for the salmon which wasn't a big deal. Christina brought both quickly. Overall!, I had an enjoyable dining experience!“
