“I came to Metro Diner this morning off the humbug. I was starving & was craving some chicken & waffles from somewhere close in the area. Surprisingly the chicken was very seasoned and crispy. The waffles were also very tasty and soft. The strawberry butter mixed with their signature hot sauce was also pretty good. Alicia was my server. She was such a doll :) Her knowledge of the menu is impeccable and she took very good care of me. “This was my first time eating at Cava and the person who made my order Yoselin did an amazing job! She gave me exactly what i wanted and was so polite to me. Her service at Cava was 10/10! She even offered to help me choose something to get since it was my first time and her patience with me was nice of her as I didn’t know what to get at first. “This is our go-to place for Mexican takeout in Kennett Square. We regularly get the special meat burrito with lomo (seasoned shredded pork), burrito with asada, and chicken quesadilla. The huaraches and enchiladas are also really good. All meals come with a ton of food. They give you little hot sauce containers and limes to go with your meal. There’s a small eating area where you often find people dining, but we typically to takeout because we order during the week and the food travels well. They’re always really quick when we call; about 15 minutes and the food is ready.

The owner is almost always the one who answers the phone and greets you when you come in. You can tell that he cares about his restaurant and making his customers happy, and you can feel good that you’re supporting a small local business, not a big chain. (If you happen to be helped by someone other than the owner, like a moody teen, don’t let it put you off).

The prices are reasonable, especially considering how much food you get.

One note: PAY CASH or you’ll be charged a credit card fee that they don’t even tell you about. This is the one complaint I have about this place. I know that many businesses are now doing this, but there are no signs in the restaurant warning of this fee and if you tell them you’re paying by card, they type a higher amount into the credit card machine without telling you.

The small parking lot could definitely be repaved and the building looks a little iffy in its lighting and placement among car repair shops and an apartment construction site, but it all adds to the feeling that you’ve found a hidden gem.

Parking: Not too many spots, but I’ve never found it totally full. Pavement is bumpy with lots of holes.“

“The food , staff and atmosphere at Mary's are wonderful. It's like eating in a friend's kitchen, where the food is homemade, and the staff treats you like friends. Highly recommend. They treated my 92 year old father like he was their own.“

“Babes and I went here this past Friday for the Beef Wellington. They offer it as a special only on the fourth week of the month. Let’s just say it did not disappoint. Exactly what you would want it to be. Melt in your mouth, no real knife needed ?.
Also had the Brussels sprouts- fried hard. Yum. Crispy in every single layer with a nice kick of maple!
We sat out on the patio, our server was a joy. She had a great personality- wish I could remember her name to shout her out.
My only true complaint is the obnoxious table beside us that had no table manners. Belching left and right, cackling the whole time. Clearly they had too much fun and forgot about their surroundings. Patio was just not this kind of atmosphere. Had they been in the bar/at the bar it would have been more understandable.

Nonetheless, the Brussels sprouts and the Wellington is a must try! They also had one of babes favorite beer!“

“We only get a chance to come here on the weekends there is normally a wait but it's never more than 20 min. The staff is always super friendly and nice, and very knowledgeable about the menu. It is a VAST menu so it might take a while to decide what you want but we have tried a bunch of things and nothing has been short of wonderful. Price is on par for what you get rolls are a good size at an average price with quality ingredients. Highly recommend the soup dumplings! We always try to get something new but keep getting those dumplings!

Parking: It's near the food court in the mall so parking can be challenging but it is free

Kid-friendliness: We have taken out 2 year old every time we have been here we just get her a side of rice and some popcorn chicken, staff is very accommodating to kids and they have kids cup and high chairs

Wheelchair accessibility: 1st floor location and is technically on the outside of the mall so easy access from the street“

“We used to have a Bahama Breeze in Towson, Maryland (near my home) which, sadly, closed several years ago. We have visited the BB in KOP, which was great. When an opportunity presented to check out the one near Christiana Mall, we jumped at the chance. We were not disappointed! The food was as good as we remembered. We stopped by during happy hour and really enjoyed the selection of beverages. Definitely worth the trip!“

The food is incredible - much higher quality and attention to detail and ingredients than you'd probably expect from a strip mall pub (once inside, you forget about the strip mall aspect). “This place was soo great! We stopped in at 7:20 with 2 adults and 4 hungry kids...even though they cloae at 8, no one was angry or looking upset. We try not to go to places so close to closing, but we promised pizza and hot wings - and Liliana's definitely delivered!! We got a large meat lover's, 10 mild wings, and 10 spicy wings. “A nice little pizza shop, I’m happy to have found today at work. They serve a crisp thin crust pizza that isn’t too heavy on the sauce or cheese, and therefore not overly greasy as well. (I know pizza is subjective but that’s exactly how I like it). I thought it was delicious and will likely try a sandwich next time. I’d love to see a chicken ceasar wrap on the menu someday, but there’s plenty of options there now. Very friendly people, and fair prices too. It appears to be take-out only, but there’s a few outdoor tables for nice weather. Ample parking, order from the kiosk inside, credit accepted/cash appreciated. Highly recommended.“

“More of a small business fast casual place than full restaurant --no table service. But the food was very flavorful, nice portion sizes, and friendly staff. They do have indoor and outdoor seating after you order and get your food at the counter.

Parking: Right off the main road, can be hard to back out when leaving because you're backing out right onto the street.“
