“My boss treated us to a Star Wars Day feast from Hen Solo! Everything was DELICIOUS! When the menu said spicy, they weren't kidding! Best habanero sauce. the chicken was moist and tender. “After bbq updated there menu I kept getting the rice around a year ago in 2025 its became my favorite food all the way to 2026 now and it’s still is it may be a little expensive but for the protein you get it’s all but worth it with the egg on top when my brother eat the rice for the frist time he said we have to figure out how they make the egg I’ve been eating from this place since it came out and the rice since it’s been added to the menu as well delivers fast cooked fast And the chicken in the rice is so good it’s good enough that it could be it’s on dish as well as the egg that’s why I love this dish so much because there so much variation in this dish it’s like 5 dishes combined 10 out of 10 recommend“

“I can’t even lie — Hot Clux got one of the best chicken sandwiches in the city. I’ve been there multiple times and they stay consistent every visit, no matter which location you pull up to.

My go-to is the Loaded Dirty Bird Special. That joint is seriously one of the best things on the whole menu — packed with flavor, filling, and just hits every time. If you don’t know what to order your first time, start there. Trust.

They also got great drinks to pair with your meal, and the quality of the food is always on point. Never had a sloppy or disappointing order from them.

“I tried their lamb over rice and fried chicken with fries they all tasted fantastic. The fried chicken had so much flavor with the skin really crispy and flavorful. Lamb over rice was very good too. Prices were very reasonable with a lot of food. Customer service is well and people were very friendly. If in Philadelphia, this is a must try.“

“I'm giving you a 20 star first time I've ever ordered oxtails always just order fried fish and chicken and shrimp and sometime grill shrimp first off let me say that the beautiful young lady that work the front is amazing always smiling very sweet second the food is always hot and fresh but baby the oxtails in gravy the cabbage potatoe salad and rice is top that food was so good I was sucking the bones this store is the truth and the food proves it if you want good soul food in the city of Philly please please go to blu bay the best and I was asked if the oxtails better than the Jamaican stores the oxtails supercede the Jamaican restaurant one of a kind I will continue to go back more and more love it blu bay keep up the good work ?“

I could have referred a lot of people that don't know it's there. Your tea was very good and I hope your service gets better. A vegetarian platter would be nice also.“
