“I used Johnny Paisano’s to cater a holiday party. I had an amazing experience from the very beginning. I spoke with Christine who helped me place the order, and helped me to decide the best options for my menu. One of my options was a prime rib, where I received a phone call from Johnny himself to help me figure out the best way to prepare it for the party. When it was time to retrieve the food on the day of the party, everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful. Johnny once again came out and was talking with me about the food. I appreciate this aspect of a business, it makes you feel like you’re in a friendly environment, rather than a sterile kitchen. The food quality was amazing. Every platter was delicious, and every guest was happy with how the food turned out. The prime rib was the largest hit, not surprisingly. I couldn’t believe the value of everything as well. Please use Johnny Paisano’s for your next event, they will not disappoint at all, and will go above and beyond to make sure all your needs are met!“

“I am not a person who rights reviews, but, I feel it necessary to recognize this restaurant as one of the best I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with. I have been to this restaurant a number of times and never said anything. This review comes from a customer service stand point. I recently purchased a giftcard via the internet to give as a gift. The amount is irrelevant but it was not small. I bring this up because, I myself can be an anxious person. I must have called this restaurant no less then 4 times to get the status of the card. Needless to say I can be a real pain in ass, but I digress. The way the staff put up with me and handled my situation was nothing less then kind and professional. This restaurant should be recognized with a Michelin Star. Superior service, 5 Star cuisine, and an atmosphere from the heavens. Thank you Anthony's of Springfield. I look forward to being served once again.

We've been stopping in this little hidden gem for more than 20 years, but hadn't visited in a long while. Tonight we made a special trip, and were greatly relieved to find not only are they still open, but the food is still top notch. We were seated right away by friendly staff. Server was attentive and obliging. Our food took quite a while, but it was obviously made to order and totally worth the wait. There's not much our family of four can agree on, but we all came away happy. Amazing pizza, beautiful calzone, delicious garlic knots. Serving sizes were more than we could eat, plenty of leftovers to bring home. In a fast-changing world, it's nice to find some things exactly the way you remember them.“

My boyfriend didn't see chicken marsala on the menu. only chicken parmesan.He asked and they made him the chicken marsala. So good too. We ordered wine. I had the Cabernet and he had the Pino Noir .Both wines were rich and savory. Very tasty. The floor manager even came up to make sure we were happy. That was very nice. we received the check and the server boxed up our food for us. The check really was not expensive. I paid and gave a 25% tip. “Update: We have lived here nearly a year and this is still our go-to place. My oldest daughter is now vegan and they custom make her vegan breadsticks. Love these guys! We order from here usually once per week. Their plain pizza is classic. I think they put cinnamon in their crust—there is something special. It’s the only pizza that all of my kids like. Win! “It’s the best in DelCo. Always consistently outstanding customer service, fresh prepared masterpieces and the most impressive salads (tuna, chix, etc.) and deli meats around. I have been a loyal patron since 2010 and my family has never been disappointed. These hoagies are stacked and made to order. Sometimes, they’re a little backed up but it’s always worth the wait. Do what I do. Take a walk around the store and pick up a few of the real, imported Italian staples and they even sell Bassett’s pints now. They have Aversa, Liscio and other notable rolls and breads for sale and it’s always fresh.

They make their own sauce and sell that in quarts or pints; also their homemade meatballs, scallopine and soups. Everybody’s happy when it’s Pagano’s. I love those guys!

I no longer live in the Drexel Hill area, but I do make the trip to Pagano’s from no matter how far. And often.

That pasta fagiole is off the hook on a bitter cold day. And don’t forget the egg plant cutlets.“
