“I visited Bar Botanico roughly 1 month ago. I entered the building and almost turned around out the door because it looked crowded. The host politely shouted out "we have room for two" so my partner and I returned back. He let us know he could get our drink order while we waited for a two top table to clear which he assured us would happen soon. My partner has severe peanut, tree nut and shellfish food allergies and the host asked us immediately about our allergies. While my partner got beer (allergy comfort zone), they ensured my drinks were made in a separate shaker and let him know that he could try them if he wanted since they made them separate and left out any allergens. This was a lovely place for someone with allergies and it was really unexpected and wonderful. I will definitely be back. Oh I forgot to add the drinks were delicious, I enjoyed watching the bartenders work. “Tried but couldn't get a table at Piccolo Forno - owned by the same folks as Grapperia Bar Classico. Instead, we ordered take out from Piccolo Forno and ate at the bar. The bar staff were awesome! We informed her that if we were to accept that, we needed an apology from him. As she walked away, we saw the cook standing in the back laughing and smirking at us the entire time. It took the guy 15 minutes to come over and he gaslighted us and spoke in an patronizing manner. Also said “the longer I stand here to explain to you, the longer it’ll take it for everyone else to get their food.” We NEVER received a true apology and the manager did NOT return to see if we were satisfied or made sure he apologized. She did NOT care! We walked out and saw the cook and another employee laughing at us again while smoking cigarettes. I have never in my life experienced this but I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS restaurant if you are a BLACK WOMAN. It took me messaging her multiple times and also calling multiple time to get a section. The one email she thought she missed booking the section and told me in the email, she hoped I had a good time. If my birthday was then I wouldn't have had a good time because I requested a section well in advance. Then I finally was able to get a hold of her for a section and she took forever to get the contract and information to me. When I got there. I waited over 10 minutes for a server to come to the section and had to go ask for the server. Overall having a section there with the lack of communication, promptness, and professionalism was very undesired. I would highly recommend it as one of the better burgers in the city. All ordering is done via a QR code at a table or at the bar. It is inside of a coffee shop so you can also order coffee or tea. And they have a small selection of canned/bottled beer available as well. I believe they also will deliver over to Row house cinemas and Bierport if you are there as well.“

Soon as we sat down we were greeter by 2 waitresses which was so surprising because normally it's hard to get one. This place seems to work on teamwork. I love it!
