“At this particular location for being way understaffed, I have to say I'm VERY impressed by the manager running it now. For being the ONLY one literally working, he keeps the place exceptionally clean, tables floors, bathrooms and food prep station as well. And not only that, he greeted us with a smile, welcoming attitude, didn't show how stressed and exhausted he was and gave the best service I've had in a very long time.
I wish I knew your name bud, you deserve the recognition and respect that you so effortlessly earned. Keep up the hard work, I promise it'll pay off!!

“The staff is excellent and very caring. They are the perfect business for that plaza, especially because it's near one of Allegheny Health Networks treatment centers. People that come and go from that plaza need love and a smile. Thank you for making our day when we come to eat. On top of the great service the food is always fresh and excellent. “My wife and I stopped at this Firehouse Subs for the first time. We split a large Italian sub, which was plenty of food for a light lunch. The sandwich was not bad, but there was nothing special about it either. Most of the meat was just ham, with a wisp of salami (??maybe?), and there was very little cheese, lettuce and tomato, making it really just a warm ham sandwich. The only thing that made it somewhat Italian was the little bit of dressing they put on it. (NOTE: by the way, I didn't realize that all subs are HOT subs, unless you specifically ask for cold.) I may go back someday to try their cheesesteak, but not in a hurry to visit again. Final Verdict: Not bad, but nothing to write home about.“

“I recently stopped by Subway to pick up an online order for my niece, and I was pleasantly surprised by how welcoming the staff was. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a smile. The manager (I believe) was in the middle of preparing the order, and when I let her know I was there for my niece’s pickup, she kindly reassured me it would be ready shortly.

While waiting, I complimented the store on its new remodel (it looks great!), and even the young man who was on his break joined in the conversation—he was so pleasant and friendly. Before I knew it, the manager had already finished the order and personally brought it out to me in the lobby. We all got caught up chatting, and I didn’t even realize how much time had passed until my niece called asking for her food!
