“Visited this location for the first time at lunch today. There were probably 4 people in front of me and one behind me. Plus, one person came in to pick up 2 delivery orders. The ladies waiting on us crushed it. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. The person directly in front of me ordered 3 sandwiches with all double meat. Also, their hair and makeup were flawless. Masks worn properly, changed gloves between orders. This will probably be my go-to location from now on.“

“Absolutely unique small restaurant in Pittsburgh. I think they have the best submarine type sandwiches among other things in the city. Their outdoor tables are different, because it's a tiny restaurant. For six of us it was great eating outside. The restaurant is fast, convenient and the food is delicious and reasonable.

Vegetarian options: I get the shadyside hoagie it's all veggies. I'm actually a meat eater but I love the shadyside.“

“Always an awesome experience. I have four sons who are always hungry for Glads! Had a church function and got a Gladiator and some antipasto. It didn’t disappoint. Everyone ranted and raved, especially over the bread. All top notch ingredients and would highly recommend. It’s a great value for the money and you won’t go away hungry.“

“I am so sad that they have closed. This was at least a weekly dinner for my family as my fiancé and I both work and live very close. The workers were given no notice, so the customers didn't get any notice either. We just happened to have a friend who got lunch that day and we found out from them. Yes, it was an old building and yes it wasn't "eat in" anymore, but it's sad for those of us who were frequent, loyal customers. The employees had been there for years, knew the customers and their orders and it was a close-knit crew. We heard that the building will likely be torn down and made into (another) strip mall. Disappointing. Shame on you, Peppi's.“

“Came here after work to order takeout because I wanted a bite to eat. I got the turkey sando and the tots and let me tell you I was impressed! I was skeptical about the hummus being on the sandwich and originally asked for it to be made without but i’m honestly glad that they ended up putting it on there because it took it to a whole new level! The vibe of the place was also a plus, really down to Earth!“

“What a divine breakfast we enjoyed here this morning! After enjoying delicious made-in-house beef in the Allegheny Omelete served alongside potatoes (with the perfect amount of salt) and a side of horseradish sauce along with an order of fluffy scrambled eggs with made-in house-turkey, we deemed it one of the best breakfasts around! Our waitress was adorable, friendly, cheery, and after she described several of the upcoming week's specials, we decided to come back again in the next few days for lunch!! “It's a classic older family run restaurant. 1980's Pepsi menu boards, cheap prices, family owned, etc. The subs/hoagies are 100% over rated. Now the burgers, pizzas, fries, broccoli bites are worth it. They are priced well and taste pretty good. Have been there a few times to try their menu and can see going back.“

“By far well worth the price which wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. I’m not sure what the waitress name was but man was she awesome. She was so attentive and super kind. Goggle "steak hogie near me" and this place popped up. I said " i got nothing to lose" and i was right. I dint loose anything instead i gained some happiness. Great prices. The half of hogie sized it basically the size of a whole hogie at most other steak houses. The bread, onions, and of course the steak is amazing. “I order from here all the time because the sandwiches are delicious! Today, they forgot the mayo and pepper relish on both of our sandwiches so they were very dry and boring. I like to order online to customize my sandwich but what's the point if they skip the ingredients you want to add??“

“These subs are pretty good. Unlike Subway, you do actually get a decent amount of toppings, and you do get a little more meat on their subs. But I guess with that little bit extra is the price difference. These subs are on the tad pricey side, though. Overall, it's a good place to grab a sub.“

“It was okay. We waited for a bit in line, only to find out another sandwich artist was in the side room. He came out to help on the line once asked by the single artist in the main room. We were pressed for time as we were inbetween basketball games in a tournament in the PT muni center up the street. Food was okay, and the restaurant seemed clean. Overall just, meh.“

“This is my absolute favorite sandwich shop in Pittsburgh. Delicious sandwiches, free fries when you dine in. We love getting the provolone sub, a big hunk of griddled cheese, warm and gooey, on delicious roll with the usual toppings. We don't live here anymore, but Uncle Sam's is always our first stop when we come to visit.“

“I loveeeee this place. They have both salads and sandwiches MTO as well as homemade hot and cold items. All of the MTO items I have gotten have been delicious. The Brussel sprouts in the cold items are amazing. Anytime I am dt I always stop to see if they have Brussels. Would recommend for lunch. “I ordered lunch and went down the counter to pay when I realized that I did not have my wallet. Went to my car to see if it had fallen out of my pocket. Couldn't find it. Went back into the store to ask them to cancel my order because I had lost my wallet or left it at home. Manager said not to worry about it - that they would comp my lunch. I ate, went home and found my wallet, returned and paid. The manager could not have been any more gracious when he comped my meal or when I returned to pay. I will definitely return.“

“This is the best subway I have ever been to! Everything is so fresh and extremely clean. The owners are always so nice and welcoming. I have come twice with my 2.5 year and 8 month old and they are always so sweet to the kids and the woman has given my older one a free cookie twice which she really appreciates. I saw other customers come in and the owner remembered everyone’s order if they had been in before which I find super impressive. I highly recommend coming to this subway! I’ll be back!“

The food they serve is very fresh, I will definitely revisit this location again. It will be my first choice instead of the one in my town. I do not think they care at all in Glassport

“I was in on June 9th, 2022 and was waited on by a lovely woman named Carissa. I was unsure on what to order and she gave great recommendations on what sandwich to order. She suggested the chicken and bacon ranch, which was amazing. I never buy chips or a drink either but she was able to sell me on those too. If she’s not manager yet she needs to be. Stellar service!“
